I wanted to start this review by saying Studs is the first place I've gone professionally to get my ears pierced. I had my first appointment on March 21, 2024, and I had Jax as my piercer. I got my second lobe and conch pierced. Since I am fairly new to the "piercing community," I was unsure about placement and had plenty of questions, all of which Jax took the time to thoroughly answer. After observing my ear, she informed me about which piercings would and would not work due to my anatomy. During the process of getting the actual piercing, Jax made sure I was relaxed and gave updates on each step. Once I had finished being pierced, I was instructed on the aftercare steps, post-downsizing expectancy, and the estimated healing time for each piercing. Jax was gentle, extremely knowledgeable, and thorough during the entirety of my piercing appointment. I booked another appointment for April 26, 2024. Prior to my upcoming appointment at Studs, I had another piercing appointment that same day at a different company. Long story short, I ended up having an unpleasant experience with that company, which left me distressed. However, I still continued on with my appointment at Studs. Upon arrival, I checked in and was later greeted by Jax. I had only met her once before, but she could immediately tell there was something off with me and that I was upset. She pulled me aside, devoted her full attention to making sure I was okay, and comforted me until I regained my composure. I was surprised she even remembered me, as I'm sure she has pierced hundreds of people, and I'm just another ear, lol, but to my surprise, she did! I have never had such an impressionable experience in a professional environment as I did with Jax. Although unfortunate, it is rare to come across genuine, kind-hearted people these days, and I'm glad Jax was there to assist me in my time of need. I will be back to get more piercings from her, and I recommend anyone who is considering getting their ears pierced to come to this Studs location and have Jax as their piercer! read more

If y'all are looking for a sign to go to studs this is it! Finally Studs is in Houston!! I had been looking so so much forward to getting my ears pierced. So when I saw it was opening right away I booked my piercing appointment. And I have to say I was not disappointed it was everything I envisioned it to be and more! Staff is super friendly every single employee is so so kind, right away they signed me in showed me all the earring options. Then my piercer JAX which I can not rave enough about she was since the beginning to the end the most sweetest, funnest, loved her energy ! & with a great fashion style too! Her ear piercing is goals! She came out suggested which earring would look cuter together, the. Took me to the piercing room which was super cute too! At every single minute JAX would informe me of absolutely everything she was doing loved that. She made me feel very calm & comfortable! She is just perfect. I highly suggest requesting her if possible to get y'all's ears pierced. The piercing was super fast didn't feel any discomfort or anything. Afterwards I was explained all my care instructions so perfectly and understanding. Bought their care solution which is really good I suggest y'all get it. I took some quick pictures inside the store because it's so pretty decorated make sure to get a picture at that cute mirror they have! I had an amazing experience at Studs in Rice Village, Houston! My friend and I came in to get our ears double pierced, and from start to finish, it was a 10/10 experience. We were greeted by Ella, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Since we only had single piercings, we had a ton of questions, but Ella answered every single one with so much patience and knowledge. She completely calmed our nerves and even gave us creative ideas for placement and stud styles that we hadn't thought of. When it was time for the piercing, we went into the piercing room with Jo, who was equally fantastic. She explained the entire process step-by-step, so there were no surprises. I sometimes pass out when needles are involved, but with Jo, I had no issues at all. The process wasn't painful, and Jo's calm and friendly demeanor made it such an enjoyable experience. This was my first time getting pierced at a dedicated piercing boutique and I am so happy I chose to come to Studs. Jo was my piercer and was very friendly, professional, and personable. I came in not really knowing what I wanted to get done and she took the time to consult with me and give me some ideas after looking at my other piercings. I have a lot of piercings and this had to have been one of, if not, the least painful piercing experience I have had (I got my tragus done). She talks you through everything! I appreciated the clean set up and facility. I was worried that since it was a piercing place it may be outrageous price wise but I found that they have plenty of more affordable options. I had such a great experience at STUDS in Rice Village. The store is so bright, clean, and super cute. They have a great selection of high-quality earrings, especially flat back styles, which are perfect for comfort and everyday wear. I came here for my second piercing, and the whole process felt very professional and smooth. STUDS is awesome! The front desk staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about different piercings and jewelry pieces. There are so many beautiful options to pick from. Today I got my ear pierced by Jax who was absolutely amazing, really talked me through the whole thing and the after care. She took her time explaining different options for my ears and even let me discuss other piercings I may want in the future and where they could go and if I had the right anatomy for it. For my appointment, Jax helped me with my piercing. I was interested in an industrial, but I knew that I might not be able to based on overall ear structure. After a thorough consult, Jax and I were able to come up with a plan! During the set, up Jax was warm and welcoming and open to all my questions. I could tell I was in careful and expert hands. I just got pierced by Ashley today and had a fantastic experience ! She and the girls at the front were so sweet and helpful, I've never had a bad experience at this location ! Unfortunately when I was leaving, I scanned Ashley's QR code to tip her and the app closed out before I was able to leave her tip. My daughter, Maia, and I went to STUDS for her 17th birthday to get a couple piercings and was scheduled with Jax. JAX WAS GREAT. I went there for two piercings and their service is amazing, the place and tools are sanitary. everyone there was very nice and welcoming. some people say they're overpriced but honestly it's worth every single penny, the price is 100% justified with the service and quality you're getting. Wonderful experience! I had my second ear lope piercing at Studs about 2 months ago. The piercer seemed well experienced and took the time to answer any questions I had. She was very professional and polite. I haven't had any issues with either the piercing itself or the earring in 2 months. Only downside is the price but you get what you pay for! read more
