The down and dirty: Hard pass on Stuff N Storage. The long: I have been with Stuff N Storage for about a year now and this is what I have observed. They prices they advertise online are not the actual prices. They hide the fact that they mandate using their insurance provider. I don't store valuables in my tiny locker so I don't want insurance, yet I am forced to pay for coverage. They raised my rent twice in the last six months. The property is old and outdated, grimy, no climate control, poor lighting, poor security, and zero improvements since I've rented there. Yet somehow my rent increased twice in six months? Homeless are a real issue. There is a homeless camp across the street and many and of them rent lockers inside Stuff N Storage. So don't be surprised when you witness drug use, hang outs, and sleeping while you try and access your locker. I usually like to patron smaller establishments over large corporations, but Stuff N Storage is doing nothing to earn/keep your business or set themselves apart. They are NOT cheaper, cleaner, safer, newer, or nicer than other storage facilities. Canceled my rental and found a better deal elsewhere. Bye Stuff N Storage. read more

do not suggest using this facility. Besides the roll-up door allowing massive amounts of dirt into the units someone there has a duplicate key to units. Someone got into my unit and stole 9 cases of match grade 12ga trap grade shotgun shells. I complained to the office all she said was that even LEGAL ammo was not allowed in the units. I was not made aware of this. To try to get an insurance coverage she said call the police. Well, I know the police wouldn't care so I contacted the ATF, and they will investigate after I check out on the 30th. Someone who works there or a person that rents a unit has a master key OR can pic the locks they sell. read more

Let's start with the pros: Good customer service, caring and professional workers, good deals for new signers (most times), clean storage units and improvements on their security system. And so our family stays on for just this reason. Cons: Prices can be high (but most places are), the handyman takes a while because he moves around from storage facility to storage facility, problems with theft (drugs, spoons, and needles have been found on the property), and not all upfront chargers are presented during signing up (like: trash has been an off again/on again thing (so no trash uses right now for customers; unless a $75 fee is paid and that is not specified if that is a daily cost using it once a day or a monthly charge if you need it for the month). Overall I believe this storage facility is fair and if you're on the fence about them, it doesn't hurt to give them a shot. The workers here are great people and will provide great care. I had my boat parked in front of there office. They raised my monthly dues by $20. When I come to look at my boat I notice that all my speakers and electronics had been stolen. I can believe they didn't see anything suspicious specially since since you can see the boat from the office and it was parked near the front gate. Horrible service place! read more

I was going to rent a unit but they force you to purchase insurance. I'm not going to spend an extra $20/month for a 5x5 unit to insure my items that have more sentimental value than monetary value. Sorry - you guys lost my business. I'm going to Public Storage instead. Also - my family member have been renting here for the last two years. Since this place was taken over by new ownership they increased their rates on them twice in less than 6 months by more than 20% increases. read more

I never thought I'd need to use self storage but I was faced with a family member that needed to stay with us for an extended period time. I got the run around from another big chain in town but Stuff and Storage worked with me and had way better prices than anyone else.
