My storage got broken into and there insurance never called me the iner walls of the smaller units are just particle board and screwed in thats how thay got in from the storage next to mine they just unscrewed the wall ant took what they wanted when they were done they just screwed it back in place and like nothing was done not a good security storage if you ask me ! read more

I rented a unit here and my housing fell through and ended up moving back to Livermore. I was paid in full and think my monthly rent was 350.00 or right around there. I was a little past the gate hours on the last day of moving out and the on-site manager had to let me out. A year later I get a collections bill for the really strange price debt of 1234.00. Huh??? Really. My monthly rent was only 350.00. I would have had to miss multiple months in payments which would have been locked out without access to my belongings. That did not occur. I have all of my personal belongings in my possession still. Now this is a derogatory hit on my credit report from them fraudulently getting money and selling a past due bill to collections company that was made up dinging my credit. They are unethical and should have theft charges brought on them for fraud and in a malicious manor. This location is bad sour and will micro manage and make things up. Stay away! Clean, security, love accessible hours 0600 to 10pm, lighting in storage rooms, customer service is top of the line always a smile ... whole area kept up clean, security onsite ....I don't give 5 stars because they use to allow customers to dump trash in dumpsters but someone ruin it for everyone dumped furniture in there so now it's locked. read more

This storage facility is more expensive per square foot than most of the other similar storage facilities in the Manteca area! And they require their renters to have INSURANCE on top of the high cost of the regular rent! The majority of other storage facilities in this area don't require you to have, or buy insurance! Security Public Storage offers discounts on rent if you review them on various websites other than Yelp! It makes a person wonder why they need to make special compensations for reviews... They even emailed me a link to the "Best Of" survey for the local newspaper. (Manteca Bulletin Best of List) it seems like they try a little too hard to be liked!! It's my opinion, that the really good business' can stand on their own merit! By giving quality, service and value! The facility it self is good. But you can only legally enter and exit from the west to east direction! Also... keep in mind that you're not able to access the units on some holidays. I was really surprised to see that they were closed on New Years Day! (a Friday) Seeing that many people are in need to access storage near the first of the month! And it being a three day weekend... It would have been a great opportunity for people like myself to move stuff. But wasn't able to. read more

I have written other reviews telling how nice these people are and what a clean and secure place it is, I will still say this about the facility. But I was very disappointed to find out that if you move out during the month, they do no issue any refunds of partial months. So be sure to read your contracts, YOU own it until your money runs out! We purchased the unit on the 23rd of the month and I am so glad we did not move out on the 25th or 30th!! What a waste of money that would have been, we just lost a week of rent, at least not 3 weeks. read more
