Rat infestation. Urine and droppings all over our belongings. Management does nothing to properly clean the infested units and instead expects customers to handle it themselves or threatens additional fees. We started paying $130, then only 6 months later they raised it to $300 despite the ongoing rat issue. Most likely due to the field mice/rats around the storage area. Would not recommend. read more

Find a different storage facility, very disappointed. My husband and I moved our items into a 10'x20' unit in April and hired professional movers to move us out of our unit and into our new home in June. When we first arrived and moved in, there was a huge trail of ants in front of the unit/inside. It took numerous phone calls and office visits to have someone spray outside, they claimed that they did. We were there not even 3 months. Upon removing our furniture and boxes, we discovered a terrible ant and spider infection, including black widows. Ants and spiders inside boxes, underneath all of our furniture...everywhere. I am very pregnant and was on a time crunch to move out of our storage and have the movers place boxes in their designated rooms (2 story house). Because of these infestations, after speaking with my "bug guy" (pest control professional), he recommended keeping ALL of our items in our garage until he could come spray the next day. I then had to wait to check our items and move them into the home the following day after they were sprayed. We also came across proof of termite droppings in numerous boxes. I was devastated, this messed greatly with our timeline. When I told the ladies at the storage facility, one I believe was Marissa, she went to the office to confirm that we had insurance, then came back and handed me a pamphlet and said to file a claim. About an hour later, the site manager (I believe it was Cindy) came over to me to apologize, but after she left one of the movers told me that she told him "I'm only here because the pregnant lady is crying". Horrible attitude. I will never use their facility again; I will never recommend them. I hear there is an AIRTIGHT storage location in Manteca that I wish we knew about. read more

I've had a storage unit here since December 2020 and I had 0 problems during that time until present. It was super clean and I never worried about any rodents or bugs getting into my things and upon moving my things out, I was able to confirm that all of my things were still intact and not damaged. Cindy Lou is GREAT! I was putting some things in my space, and used my phone to take a picture of what is in the unit. Set the phone down on the bumper of my car while I locked up the unit, and proceeded to get in the car without grabbing the phone. The phone fell off the bumper as I exited the driveway of the business. I drove back as soon as I missed my phone, but did not see it. I went home and used the tracking feature to try to locate it. apparently it was VERY NEAR the driveway. when Cindy Lou came back from lunch I called and asked her if someone had turned it in. Nobody had. I told her I was going to come out and look for it. I got in my car and a few moments later my work phone rang and it was Cindy Lou. She had gone the extra mile and found my phone in the street. It "looked like someone ran it over." Turned out the screen protector was destroyed, but the phone was in PERFECT shape. I called what was apparently the call center for a last minute storage unit. I was told by the lady to try to make it before closing time at 6PM. I managed to get there exactly at 6PM with my newborn baby and the only person willing to help me move my things into a storage unit. The lady in there has her clock set 3 minutes ahead to inform my friend that it's 6:03. Same lady called me at 5:57 and left a voicemail with the assumption that it was 6 when she called me...Fix your glasses lady, it's 6. The center informed you ahead of time that I was on my way. I had everything ready to pay and get to moving my things in, but I guess she needed to go home by how she believed the clock over a smart phone that is pretty accurate with time. Working in customer relations as many years as I have, if you see certain circumstances on the customers part (like having a freaking Uhaul truck and a baby), the choice you make as an employee can leave either a positive or negative experience for the customer to remember for a long time. As a former supervisor at a supermarket, I've held a store open for people before when I knew that they needed to get something, especially if it involves kids. This lady had no care in the world and paid attention to a clock that had the wrong time than anything else. Called the call center, and I was told that the lady I spoke to failed to inform me that the last appointment storage units can set up is 10 minutes before they close. So it was clear I was screwed anyways. I won't be back. read more

yes , I wanted to start off with saying that the ladies in the office are fantastic. Never did I ever have any problems with them. But im sorry to say they are working for a crappy company. I had a storage unit there approx. for a year. Then all of a sudden I received a rent increase notice. That was fine, I expected 10 to 20 bucks a month, But No, they increased my rent 80 bucks all at once, this was bullshit. So I wrote to cooperate, It did no good cause cooperate just contacted the ladies in the office and told them to handle it. I felt sorry for those ladies.
