I have had this place on my "Houston Adventure List" for quite some time. This past week I was finally able to try them as they were on a "tour" from their typical spot in the city. The Food truck hours started at 5, and I arrived at 5:45 to my surprise with a line already formed and 2 of the 4 flavors already being sold-out. Wing flavors are stuffed wings with either: dirty rice, boudain, mac &cheese, or seafood. Mac & cheese and Seafood were already gone so ended up ordering 8 piece boudain, 4 piece boudain, and 4 piece dirty rice. The additional 4 piece boudain was to give to my sibling. I waited about a full hour after my ordering to receive my food unfortunately and was told at ordering it would be roughly 25 minutes to catch up with the folks in front of me. When I received my order it was definitely mixed up. I got an 8 piece boudain and 10 piece dirty rice. I planned to mention it but with the now 20 people line waiting to order, I objected and decided it was no problem. Both flavor of wings pretty much taste the same as they are both rice based. I would recommend the boudain over the dirty rice, but both were really good. For the price, I definitely wouldn't indulge every week as it is a little steep with no sides or beverage accompanying. read more

I have to say I was less than impressed with STUFF's Wings. Given all the hype about this place, it was kind of a let down. I got the seafood boudin stuffed wings and the boudin wasn't good at all. And, if the stuffing isn't good, it pretty much ruins the wings. They weren't seasoned well and they were very greasy. While I appreciate the cook to order, they need to drain the wings before serving them to their customers. Their prices are a little high too. I paid $17.50 for ten wings (no fries) which, in actuality, is just five whole wings. I'm all about supporting black businesses so, I'll definitely go back and give them a second chance. read more

We booked them for an event on campus this week and I was blown away. Their stuffed wings are so incredibly juicy and the stuffing options we chose (dirty rice and chicken boudain) were great! Our students, staff, and faculty loved the food. In addition, we had their peach cobbler which was SO GOOD! I'm not sure what all the hype is about. I had the dirty rice stuffing which tastes like the rice from Watkins or Pyburns. They are very slow, the wings are greasy, and they had feathers. The banana pudding was pretty good, so that earns an extra star. read more

The food is good I'll give that to stuff'd wings, but to stand in the sun and wait in the long lines is not fun at all. Along with the fact that it's a game of Russian Roulette as to when they will run out of wings and stop taking orders. Constantly get orders wrong and be prepared to be taxed if you want sauce for your wings. I had the Boudain stuffed chicken wings. Everything came together just right, and I'm sure that it was no accident. The crust on these wings couldn't of been better. The Boudain was nice and tasty, plus the chicken was cooked to perfection. A lot of times fried chicken is dry, but not this chicken. This chicken lets out some steamy goodness the second that you bite in to it. I asked one of the guys standing in line if it was good, he said that his folks and seven friends said that he had to try it out. That's all I needed to hear. I went there yesterday. Placed a large order and was given a total at the end when the order was complete. The total that I was given was $76.03 or something like that. But my card was charged $82.72. If that was the total with tax added then I should've been given that total first. If there was a service charge added. I should've been made aware of that before my car was charged. Better business practice would be to give somebody a full and complete total before charging their card. Also my order was wrong. I ordered 3-5 pieces and 1-10 pieces and asked for two of the five pieces to be made into combos. The food was good.
