I just received a bill for warranty work which was to be at no charge…read more 1) I was forced to wait 2 weeks for them to have my appointment. Then they called the day of and push back the appointment another 5 days. Meanwhile algea was taking over in my pool. 2) They show up and can't fix the problem. 3) THEY SEND ME A BILL FOR THE SERVICE CALL TO BE COVERED BY MY WARRANTY! 4) I called them and said they should not be billing me. I had to call and pay someone else to fix the problem which was right at the pump that they warranty and that I'm not going to pay the bill. She said tough, we will just send you to collection. 5) I said I'll see you in court. I am also sending an e mail to the company if I can find one. I can't even find a website on Google. The only first option I have is to go here on Yelp because I have no option to e mail them in writing the problem or go to a website.

Unfortunately this review is due to poor communication with the owner of the company…read more He argued that I did not have a leak. Yet I was losing more than 4 inches per week in addition to customary evaporative losses. (Nolan, a bucket test is not rocket science). After 4 visits with ALD (and some unnecessary repairs) we still did not have a diagnosis. Later, I had a different company (American Leak Detection) out and they rapidly diagnosed a 30 foot crack in the plaster and gunite. Do note: 1) two pool builders recommended ALD due to cost. The total cost for American Leak Detection was similar to the cost of ALD's 4th visit. 2) the first visit with ALD was a good interaction. They did confirm a cracked pipe that we did repair. However, the next 3 visits did not yield helpful information. 3) the subcontractors were kind. But they are the ones who did the work and didn't find the crack in the body of the pool. 4) the owner of the company guaranteed he would find the leak when it resulted in 4" of loss per week. That's when I had them back out for that 4th visit. But that's when the argument ensued that I was not competent to perform a bucket test. And apparently not smart enough to know that I was having to add an insane amount of water to my pool each week. I know the pool well; I had it built and have performed the maintenance myself for nearly a decade. Also note that I do not have an autofill, I have a manual valve on the fill line; I know exactly how long I fill water into the pool each week.
