Once I got to the register the sales associate was very helpful. Sent me to the floor to get an exchange. Couldnt find the item or the location it might be in so I tracked down an associate and he nicely found it for me. Back to the line. Waited my turn and had it exchanged. All in all, it was fairly easy to return. I browsed the floor afterwards and noticed they don't really carry any of the brands for cosmetics that I use, but they did have a large selection of NARS AND Tarte. But I used Jones Road and Ilia so that was of no help. I couldnt find the Amika hair products I use, so there was no addition purchases for this girl!

I had a giftcard to use and honestly, it was frustrating to book a pedi online. Since there are…read moredifferent skill/price levels for the nail techs, I wanted one on the cheaper side. Given the multi-locations and multi-techs it took awhile to book a time that suited me. I did think they are overpriced compared to other nail salons. I had a very pleasant experience in person. I walked in and checked in on the tablet, making it very easy. I used the restroom and saw a coffee/cocktail bar that surprised me a bit. I did get a glass of water at the self-serve desk by the entrance. I sat in a comfortable chair and when my tech was ready, I was seated at her station. Great pedi and I liked Selma who wasn't pressured to make conversation. I'm good with quiet. She put me at a different seat to use the nail dryer. My toes look great. After the pedi and as I was being moved, I accidently knocked my water glass off the side of the chair. It broke and made a mess. They didn't yell at me. I felt bad, but someone quickly arrived with a broom and dustpan. At the check out desk, I was informed I got 25% off as it was my first visit. Yay! I used my giftcard and have $ leftover. They expect cash tips so I put $ in an envelope for Selma. It is a very pretty salon and I would recommend it for a first timer.

First off, she was late, which already messed up our schedule. Not a huge deal, but then she doesn't have foundation. If we only had one makeup artist, there would have been no solution. She then goes on to complain about clients requesting "no makeup makeup" looks, this is what pretty much the entire bridal party had asked for. Really bizarre to comment on in front of any clients. I have had other experiences with Penzone that were never like this, it just was really uncomfortable for everyone. I had hyped up Penzone to everyone and then 2 of my friends were ridiculed and not happy with their looks.
