We were in town for a family event and I forgot to bring my hair care products. After finding The Blowout Bar through Yelp, I decided to give it a try. Boy am I glad I did! From the moment I arrived until I left I was treated like gold by the staff. Liz was my stylist. She is a true pro. My hair looked perfect when she finished. I wish I could take her back home with me so my hair could always look this beautiful. The salon is extremely clean with a happy vibe throughout. If I get the opportunity to travel back to Columbus, I don't need to worry if I forget my hair products. I'll be heading to The Blowout Bar no matter what! read more

Worst blowout I've ever had. My stylist was rough with my hair. She did not comb out all tangles after washing and before using a round brush. It felt hairs breaking and it showed at the end. I understand blowouts require tension, but this was extreme. I had to take an Advil when I left. I paid for a 60 minute time slot and she finished within 40 minutes. My hair was still damp when I left. It has been 3 hours since my appointment and my hair is completely flat and frizzy from it air drying because it wasn't fully dry. Charlie did an AMAZING job!! He started my 13 yr olds hair at 11 & finished a little before 1. Her hair is real tightly coiled & he really did a great job!! The ambiance was very relaxing & nice. Next time I bring her, & I will, I'll get me a drink! Totally worth the money! read more

I have previously been to the grandview blow out bar, but this location worked better for the activities we had planned that day. The staff was super friendly when I walked in and when I checked out. The person who did my hair was nice and asked for photos of my previously blow out and about my hair to help it stay better. Overall it was a good experience but my blow out didn't stay nearly as well as I would've liked but oh well, I will try again next time I have a nice occasion. I wish it would've stayed better though so that was a disappointment because my last one stayed perfectly for so long. Plenty of parking because it was 9am, any other time at Easton might be a different story! read more

This place was recommended to me and honestly I was so excited to go. All I wanted was a fishtail braid and I came with 3 reference photos. The receptionist was very very kind, but my stylist was not as much. My hair is past my shoulders and I wanted to do two braids. The stylist looked at my photos and pointed out that my hair was too short to do those braids. I was disappointed to say the least and didn't know what to do. ( This is not why I gave them 1 star) The stylist just stares at me then when I asked how short it would be if she did a braid she seemed annoyed that I even asked. The more I tried to ask for help or understanding the more aggravated she became. At this point I was so uncomfortable I just wanted to leave, but I felt that it was rude to do so. I knew with Covid people are struggling financially so I stayed. She told me " The least we can do is try something." I agreed and she started doing her thing. She carried no conversation with me and wasn't very nice at all. I let her finish. She asked if it was okay. I said yes just so I could leave because I was going to start crying. She even told me this is a "loose braid." The receptionist was again very nice and yes I still tipped my stylist. I went to my car and cried because I've never has such an unpleasant experience with a hair stylist before and I was so embarrassed. I know I'm probably not their usual clientele, but I just wanted to look nice for my birthday. Luckily, I found a stylist that was able to fix my hair for me that night. I've been to multiple Blowout Bar locations and have had a great experience each time. The new Easton location is no different! This may actually be the most convenient of all their locations due to the ample parking (free garage right across the street) and the proximity to so many other places to shop. It was so easy to pop over to Trader Joes after my blowout! The place is clean and quaint. Only a handful of chairs and washing stations and a few benches to sit on while you wait. It doesn't feel crowded at all. They offer complimentary water and coffee as well. The actual blow out service is heavenly. The girl who did mine explained each product she was using and even applied two different shampoos that each had a different purpose. The products smelled amazing! She was thorough and gentle with my hair and it turned out amazing. The volume at my roots is something I strive to create on my own but it never turns out. Each blowout comes with a style and I chose a beachy wave feel that turned out super cute! You can also add a scalp massage for 10$ - I will be doing this next time! read more

First off-- I will admit upfront I am a Blowout Bar Junkie. I LOVE THE BLOWOUT BAR and I've been so excited for Easton to open, I hate parking situations so having the parking availability that Easton does is such a draw! Ok, onward with our story- the salon itself is GORGEOUS! Like you could ever question what they would do with the space. White and gray are my favorite combo and I will admit, I sat in my seat- turned around to my stylist and confessed my love of the chairs. Good Lord, they are amazing. My stylist-- Denise. Is. A. Genius. And. A. Goddess. I've been seeing her for years and she always finds a way to make me feel insanely gorgeous. Her skill is undeniable! I LOVE the Blowout Bar. I have been a loyal regular for over 3 years since moving back to Columbus. Their service and prices are better than anything I experienced in Chicago or Philadelphia. I am there twice a month, and lucky for me, it's the only time my hair is ever washed (only a global pandemic could force me to wash my own hair!) I wanted to love my hair, I really, truly did. I heard many great things about the blowout bar so I scheduled far in advance to make sure I would have the style I wanted and such. I went in for a blowout and braid for my wedding, so it was definitely a special day. It took a 20 minute car ride and walking around inside the venue for about 15 minutes for my hair to fall flat. By the time the ceremony was to start I had to redo my hair. The experience and atmosphere was awesome, the girls that did my hair and braid were great, I just was hoping it would hold up longer than half an hour for a $60+ service. read more

I really wanted to try the blowout bar today so booked an appointment online. It was fast and easy. Friendly people greeted me and my stylist was nice . I didn't get the sense she was very confident in her ability and I feel like she struggled a little with the blowout. The back of my hair looked great and the front not so much so I fixed it when I got home. I don't think the stylist are dressed professionally at all and I really did not see one person walk out of there with hair that wowed me. If they are charging top dollar then the skills and presentation should match that also. I gave 2 stars mostly because the scalp massage was pretty great. Next time I need a blowout I will just visit the nearest great clips for half the price and a better result. read more
