I asked for an all over Color and was taken care of by Jussy she was fabulous! She matched my current color with some swatches and did such a good job with the colors and matching ! HT is my go to salon for anyone and everyone in my life. Their experienced and diverse staff can handle anything from a quick kid cut to a complex coloring appt. I always recommend them to friends and know they'll have at least a few staff members who specialize in what they're looking for. It's also so cute inside and comfy. The owners are wonderful people who always do the right thing. 10/10 recommend. read more

I have previously reviewed a few times but this time won't let me update so here goes. I had 2 appointments with Kaitlin who did a fantastic job . Getting me closer to the look I want. Since she just went on maternity leave my appointment today was with Brianna. Sweet Kaitlin left very detailed instructions for her and we discussed. Told her I wasn't quite where I wanted to be with my hairstyle and we talked. My color was perfect. She told me what she would do. Brianna was so warm and personable- very easy to talk to. Love my hair. My only negative about the salon in general- I know they have many clients but after coming every 5 weeks for over a year I am never greeted by name . I have to give it at the front desk. At the previous salon I went to from day 1 I was greeted by name. I really didn't expect to find such a great fit for me when I made my appointment and said any stylist was fine. Fate came through for me and I got set up with Alaina. She's pretty perfect in my opinion. She's so focused on details, but can multi task so well. She is wonderful to talk to, and I really couldn't be much happier with a stylist. She's everything I've been hoping for! My cut and color are gorgeous, prices are most definitely in my expected range, and they are being very safe about Covid. Since then only once, in four years, have I went elsewhere. That was the only time I've had a less than 5 star experience. Highly recommended. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I'm so upset I want to cry. This was the worst job I've ever gotten and it was not handled right at all. I hardly ever get my hair done because it's expense. I wanted bayalage and a cut and showed a photo of the color and its not even close!!! The dye looks like I got a box from Walmart AND I had to still pay for it!! I was offered to come back and have the same person redo it but that means another 2.5 HOURS in a chair when I work fulltime to get the same results from the same person and more damage to my hair. I'm so upset because I never get to do anything nice for myself and it ended horribly. This is no way to run a business. The customer should have yo pay for something they didn't ask for and/or you should try to make it right with someone who can actually do the job. I usually do not like spending amounts of money, but I definitely feel like the pricing and quality here is really equitable in contrast to other salons. My hair is naturally a dark brown and I was getting sick of my blonde highlights I got back in May (I got blonde highlights for a few years at another salon) and wanted to go natural. I admit, at first when I stepped in, I was a bit imitated because it seemed like the people (costumers I'm referring to) were very high class. However, the receptionist and Brianna (the hair stylist I had) were so sweet! They really made me feel at home and I even bonded with other costumers there as well. I definitely will be coming here more often, perhaps for their other services! read more

My teen showed the picture to the stylist of the haircut they wanted, and when leaving, the hair was wet. My teen was disappointed with the haircut that Saturday evening. The bangs were too short, and the sides cut unevenly. I reached out on Sunday and explained the situation, which they did get us in on Monday different stylist. Kayesyn was my stylist before she moved to San Diego a couple years ago, I was really bummed when she left and I am SO excited that she's back! She's seriously a balayage queen and I would recommend her to anyone for color, cuts, blowouts, style... And obviously balayage. I always leave feeling so much better about my hair. Kay is also really easy to talk to and she's honest so if you aren't sure if something will fit your face, she'll steer you in the right direction, and she's never steered me wrong. She also was the first person I let wax my eyebrows, which to some people is crazy, but I've always just plucked because it never bothered me and I was good at it. She made me rethink why I never got them waxed because they looked amazing! In conclusion, if you're looking for a new stylist for any of the above reasons, Kay is your girl! read more

Thea is an amazing stylist. She is sweet, caring, and always listens to exactly what you want. I had the hardest time trying to find a stylist in Columbus who would lift my light brown hair with color. Not only did she lift with color, she did it without it turning warm. I just moved to Gahanna, Found this salon on Web. SO glad I did. Got my blond hair highlighted by Jen C. and manicure from Madelene. Both fabulous. This is the prettiest my hair has looked in a long long time. I have spent double what I spent here and have not been this pleased. Actually got a compliment an hour after I left the salon. Very disappointed with my experience here. The salon itself is set up horribly with spot lights that shine right down on you, which in turn makes you look horrible...not the way you want to feel when you go to the salon. I got a full color & cut from a stylist I've used once before. Cut was good, color, probably the worst color I've ever gotten! The stylist washed my hair first, then stained my head so bad it took me several days just to get it off. The color bled for 2 weeks, and the actual brand of the product actually bothered my scalp. I sat at a dryer chair but didn't get the heat on my color, and I sat for a definite 45min. When I looked in the mirror after I got home I was embarrassed that the stylist actually let me walk out like that! NOT worth the $100 + gratuity I paid! read more

If you are looking for a stylist you have to go to Kayesyn. She is a color queen. No one has EVER done my hair the way she does. She knows exactly what to do and how to do it. I came in with a mess of color on my head and left it all up to her and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. No matter what you want done she is your girl. I was super sad when she moved away to California but when I found out she was coming back it was like the clouds in the sky opened up. No one does balayage like her. I look forward to my appointments not only because I know I will walk out of there looking like a hair commercial but also because I get to sit there and talk to her for my whole appointment. She is so easy to work with. She will tell you how it is and how she thinks you will look and you can trust her 110%. So, if you need a new/better stylist, go to Kay! read more

The girl who did my hair had the nerve to charge me 140 .00 for my haircut and hair color. My hair was so chopped up in the back it looked like a two year old got a hold of the scissors.
