Chicken and Steak and Chicken Fajitas

Very authentic look and feel inside and staff was eager to assist us. Our waiter was on top of our refills and chips refill without asking. The fajitas were more than filling and plenty of meat for two. Flavor was outstanding and will definitely return next time in town. Top notch Mexican food in town.

Such a welcoming place, the staff greeted us right away. We sat by the bar it was nicely lit giving off a nice chill vibe. My husband and I shared a mango margarita.. He had the Chicken Mole dinner and I had the Chile Verde dinner both were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Had the chile relleno enchilada combo plate and it was so yummy! The margaritas were fresh and the service was top notch. Can't wait to try their Brunch Buffet.

The ambiance was incredible. The outdoor patio was a great place to have our dinner. Our service was great. She was very helpful and attentive. I was unsure of how spicy the chilli verde was and she offered to bring me a sample. I thought that was incredibly considerate. Our drinks were refreshing and I would recommend the watermelon margarita. Warning. The chips and salsa are considered an appetizer and you will be charged. They were worth it. Chips are homemade and delicious. 10/10 I would recommend.

First night in Paso and we decided to eat at Su Casa and we were not disappointed. I had the Enchilada and Taco combo. This plate comes with rice and beans. Everything was delicious. Our server Blakley was great. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the atmosphere was great. Parking is in the back. This is a good pick for dinner.

Food was good, drinks are strong and service is great. This restaurant is a nice place to watch a game but can also be good for groups.

First, you line up at the entrance, then you ring the doorbell, but only once as the sign warns. You are greeted through a peekaboo window in the door where they ask your party size. You are then taken in groups of three or less to a vestibule where they lock down your phones so you can't take any pictures and then you are seated in the dark and moody atmosphere. They don't split checks, so be ready to order as a group. There's a 90 minute time limit as well, so don't dawdle. Highlights of our order included the Butter Pecan Old Fashioned (so good!) and the Banana Daiquiri. We stayed for the full 90 minutes and when we left there was a long line waiting to get in. Go early if you want to get one of the few seats inside or be prepared to wait. We loved our experience.

We arrived just minutes after 5pm on a Thursday, with only one group ahead of us -- about a 5-minute wait before we were ushered in. They do check IDs, so bring one, or find somewhere else to drink. After the secret knock and moving a book in the entryway library, the door opens into a 1920s-style bar: heavy, dark wood, and very limited seating, with just 8 seats at the bar and two larger seating areas for groups. I believe our bartender's name was Matt -- the last of the original employees since Eleven Twenty-Two opened eight years ago. He was great, walking my girlfriend through the menu when she asked for recommendations, and sharing some great insight when we asked about the bar's history and the mixology behind the drinks. She started the evening with a Mexican Firing Squad -- very margarita-like, with tequila, lime, house-made grenadine, and Angostura. I wasn't quite as adventurous and wanted to keep things simple, so my first round was a martini, stirred and dry. The fun didn't stop there, since we had 90 minutes to relax before our dinner reservation. Round two was a Slow and Foamy -- a lemongrass- and fennel-infused vodka with egg white. It was an interesting drink; flavors you wouldn't expect to work together, worked together beautifully. It's an in-house creation by the female bartender, whose name I didn't catch. Torn between a Sidecar and a Manhattan, I went with the Sidecar, since I hadn't found a good one anywhere else in Paso. Matt poured a really nice one -- not too sweet, with a sugar-rimmed glass and well-balanced simple syrup. Like every drink that night, it was beautifully balanced. We finished with a Banana Daiquiri -- their unique take on the drink, without the slushy ice or fake banana flavor. This was probably the best drink of the night for both of us, and we shared it. It's not cheap, but a night out for drinks never is. That wouldn't stop me from bringing out-of-town guests here -- they'd love this kind of historical, speakeasy-style setting. I really appreciated the staff's attention and professionalism. We had a great time. Thanks, Eleven Twenty-Two!

I had my eye on the lamb shank ahead of time, and it turned out to be perfection--easily the standout dish of the night. I've dined at many great restaurants, and they truly executed it beautifully. Everything else we ordered was just as impressive: well-balanced, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with thoughtful decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere (something I always pay attention to). Service was excellent--attentive without being overbearing. It's now at the top of my Paso Robles restaurant list, and we'll definitely be back. We belong to a couple of wine clubs in the area, so this will be a regular stop for us--especially for that lamb shank. Parking was easy, it wasn't too busy during our visit, and reservations can be made online without hassle. Coming from the Bay Area and being used to dining in both SF and LA, I can confidently say Parchetto holds its own. High-quality food and a great overall experience. Kudos to the team.

We had spent the afternoon wine tasting and originally planned to head back out after returning to the hotel. Let's just say after several tastings, those plans quickly changed. We decided room service was the much better idea and ordered food from Esperanza instead. We ordered the chips and guacamole, a shrimp taco and flautas, and everything was SO flavorful. Even through room service, the chips arrived perfectly crisp and crunchy, and the guacamole had great flavor. The shrimp taco was probably one of my favorites. It was flavorful with a slightly smoky taste and just enough spice. I believe we ordered the flautas with shredded beef, and those were delicious as well. What also impressed us was how quickly everything arrived. We were expecting to wait a while, but the service was surprisingly fast and the food arrived tasting fresh. For food that we enjoyed from the comfort of our hotel room after an afternoon of wine tasting, Esperanza definitely made an impression. We kept saying that if the food is this good through room service, we need to experience the restaurant itself. So next time we're in Paso Robles, Esperanza is officially on the list.
