Chicken tortilla soup with cherry tomatoes instead of carrots. I picked them all out.
    Shannon M.

4 of us came here for drinks and dinner. Friends have raved about Su Casa. Chips and Salsa have to be ordered. Each of us had something different and everything was delicious. Two of us had their special Margaritas with orange liqueur that you can add. So good! The only reason for 4 instead of 5 starts was the fact we had to order our chips and salsa and the Chicken tortilla soup had cherry tomatoes cut in half instead of any carrots. Cherry tomatoes just don't work in this soup and it was very disappointing. We will definitely come back. The service from Lily was incredible! She was very attentive, but never intrusive. We liked her a lot. This is a very authentic looking environment. Loved it.

Very authentic look and feel inside and staff was eager to assist us. Our waiter was on top of our refills and chips refill without asking. The fajitas were more than filling and plenty of meat for two. Flavor was outstanding and will definitely return next time in town. Top notch Mexican food in town.

Such a welcoming place, the staff greeted us right away. We sat by the bar it was nicely lit giving off a nice chill vibe. My husband and I shared a mango margarita.. He had the Chicken Mole dinner and I had the Chile Verde dinner both were delicious. We will definitely be back.

The ambiance was incredible. The outdoor patio was a great place to have our dinner. Our service was great. She was very helpful and attentive. I was unsure of how spicy the chilli verde was and she offered to bring me a sample. I thought that was incredibly considerate. Our drinks were refreshing and I would recommend the watermelon margarita. Warning. The chips and salsa are considered an appetizer and you will be charged. They were worth it. Chips are homemade and delicious. 10/10 I would recommend.

First night in Paso and we decided to eat at Su Casa and we were not disappointed. I had the Enchilada and Taco combo. This plate comes with rice and beans. Everything was delicious. Our server Blakley was great. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the atmosphere was great. Parking is in the back. This is a good pick for dinner.

Food was good, drinks are strong and service is great. This restaurant is a nice place to watch a game but can also be good for groups.

Had the chile relleno enchilada combo plate and it was so yummy! The margaritas were fresh and the service was top notch. Can't wait to try their Brunch Buffet.

We arrived just minutes after 5pm on a Thursday, with only one group ahead of us -- about a 5-minute wait before we were ushered in. They do check IDs, so bring one, or find somewhere else to drink. After the secret knock and moving a book in the entryway library, the door opens into a 1920s-style bar: heavy, dark wood, and very limited seating, with just 8 seats at the bar and two larger seating areas for groups. I believe our bartender's name was Matt -- the last of the original employees since Eleven Twenty-Two opened eight years ago. He was great, walking my girlfriend through the menu when she asked for recommendations, and sharing some great insight when we asked about the bar's history and the mixology behind the drinks. She started the evening with a Mexican Firing Squad -- very margarita-like, with tequila, lime, house-made grenadine, and Angostura. I wasn't quite as adventurous and wanted to keep things simple, so my first round was a martini, stirred and dry. The fun didn't stop there, since we had 90 minutes to relax before our dinner reservation. Round two was a Slow and Foamy -- a lemongrass- and fennel-infused vodka with egg white. It was an interesting drink; flavors you wouldn't expect to work together, worked together beautifully. It's an in-house creation by the female bartender, whose name I didn't catch. Torn between a Sidecar and a Manhattan, I went with the Sidecar, since I hadn't found a good one anywhere else in Paso. Matt poured a really nice one -- not too sweet, with a sugar-rimmed glass and well-balanced simple syrup. Like every drink that night, it was beautifully balanced. We finished with a Banana Daiquiri -- their unique take on the drink, without the slushy ice or fake banana flavor. This was probably the best drink of the night for both of us, and we shared it. It's not cheap, but a night out for drinks never is. That wouldn't stop me from bringing out-of-town guests here -- they'd love this kind of historical, speakeasy-style setting. I really appreciated the staff's attention and professionalism. We had a great time. Thanks, Eleven Twenty-Two!

From the purse hooks underneath (always such an appreciated detail) to the footrest the host offered so I would be comfortable on a bar stool to the mixologist who made the best drinks, our experience was 5 star. We had the smoked butter pecan old fashioned and a grasshopper (aka dessert in a glass) and both were the perfect exclamation point to a lovely evening! My husband appreciated the decor of tufted walls and the monkey sconces are a fun touch. All the details are perfect. Definitely visit if you're in town. No photos because they take your phones, but you can get one in the library before you enter if you ask. Cheers!

We were greeted by a friendly server named Sara (hopefully, I recalled her name correctly). Before we were seated, I asked if they had hot herbal tea and she said they definitely did. The bar lounge wasn't overly large but they did their best to accommodate their patrons. Before we finished our drinks. some new patrons walked in and they had to be turned away since the lounge area was already filled. We kept our visit short so they could accommodate more patrons. I'm sure the food they offered would have been delicious but we had already eaten dinner. The sticky toffee pudding sounded like it would have been wonderful! Perhaps we'll be able to stop for dinner or a casual bite to eat next time we're in Paso Robles! I hope others enjoy their visit with Sara and the other staff at Pony Club too!

I had my eye on the lamb shank ahead of time, and it turned out to be perfection--easily the standout dish of the night. I've dined at many great restaurants, and they truly executed it beautifully. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with thoughtful decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere (something I always pay attention to). Service was excellent--attentive without being overbearing. It's now at the top of my Paso Robles restaurant list, and we'll definitely be back. We belong to a couple of wine clubs in the area, so this will be a regular stop for us--especially for that lamb shank. Parking was easy, it wasn't too busy during our visit, and reservations can be made online without hassle.
