I would recommend this location. This was our first time here and I have to say the customer service was great. I am not sure if they were short staffed or just had one person working, but the staff member had a great attitude despite a slightly long line. I think this speaks highly of the individual. The ice cream was nothing like we've had, but it was good and the experience watching the process is pretty awesome. Second, my son left his backpack there and they saved it for him. This was huge, as you just never know. I sent an email to corporate when I couldn't reach the store, and they responded promptly. I sincerely appreciate them! So whether you are craving ice cream or want a cute little date, this is a fun place to go and the service and experience is top notch.

First time here, we usually go to Handels in Sandy because we love good ice cream. We stumbled on this place, We enjoyed all of our options that we had here I think the serving size was a bit smaller than we expected. We all will plan to come again we really liked this place ice cream taste great nice seating area we will probably get a larger size serving next time. We came in during the time that the owner was our server and he was great.

This is a new area we are trying to get up to speed on since this now affects our daughter. This is a great option for dessert if you have this type of concern. I've been so sad that they had closed years ago. Upon seeing that they had reopened we had to get in and try my old favorite Peppermint Chocolate Spray. I craved this for so long that I was afraid it wouldn't live up to my memories. Great news though. It is exactly how I remembered and we were told the recipe hasn't changed at all. I was so happy to scratch an itch I've had for so long by finally getting my hands on this nostalgic treat. All of their ice cream and treats (rice Krispy bars)?that we got were divine. This place is absolutely worth the drive and time for such a wonderful experience. Give them a try. I promise you'll be glad you did.

It is all super fresh, not freezer burned. I haven't tried the double cone yet, but I want to since it is iconically Snelgrove. It is SO cute inside, and clean. The employees are always really helpful and patient with my toddler. I am impressed when young employees do the job well. All in all, Snelgrove is a great experience. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area. Or even if you're not, really.

The menu has both regular and rotating/seasonal flavors. I stopped by on a hot day, tried a few samples, and immediately fell in love. I got the honeybud and mango sticky rice, and both were delightful. The honeybud is similar to the honey lavendar from Salt and Straw, but with an addition of honey and honeycomb! The mango sticky rice has real mango chunks with chewy rice (unlike the stale ones you get at other ice cream shops). Everything I tasted had the perfect amount of sweetness and richness. I'm coming back again and grabbing pints!

Here, the ice cream is so much more creamier, and one scoop on a cone is only 4-5 ish dollars. Though there was a really long line when we came, (around 8 o'clock), the ice cream was worth the wait, no doubt. I got the Flight (shh.. it's cheat day..), with flavors: Thai tea, chewy gooey buttercake, campfire smores, and white mint chip. I loved ALL these flavors. Judging from other people's reviews, I don't think there is a flavor that's bad at Blacksmith. The thai tea was really strong, but I gotta say, the first bite is the best. The more you eat it, the more weird the flavor becomes. I'm sure this is probably a me thing though, so I still totally recommend this flavor. The chewy gooey butterake the best flavor in my opnion. The name is really accurate; the ice cream IS really chewy. I love the texture. It feels like you're biting into a cookie, but there's icecream too! Hey, two birds on one stone! The campfire smores also didn't disappoint. Like the chewy gooey butter cake, the campfire smores also had a stuff inside, which was a chewing sensation! Though I'm not big on smores, cause I think that they're always way too sweet, this ice cream redefined smores for me. The marshmallows aren't fully sweet, but I can totally taste the smoky flavor of the roasted marshmallows. Though the white mint chip wasn't bad, I felt like it was more underwhelming compared to the over three flavors I've tried. It's just plain white mint chip, nothing more, nothing less. I also got waffle cones on the side (yes, you can do that!), since I really wanted to try out their handmade waffle cones. They serve it to you in triangles (like tortilla chips!) in a little paper bag. That also, was great. So crunchy and buttery! I also gotta say, watching the staff make the ice cream was soo satisfying!

In this case, I think it is for the better, as you can have ice cream delivered straight to your door! A month or so back I placed an online order right around their same-day cut off time of 4pm. I was so impressed when a bagful of ice cream was dropped off at my door within less than an hour! We enjoyed the following: Rocky Road features a mild chocolate base and small bits of nuts, but I never found even ONE teeny marshmallow in the whole quart (I just looked up the description to make sure I wasn't mistaken and it definitely mentions those squishy white delights!). Fresh Peach Gelato boasts local peaches from Kuwahara. Tangy, but just-sweet enough. Not quite as creamy as others, but that is par for the course with most fruit based ice creams. Oreo has mostly fine Oreo pieces, but a lot. If you had asked me, I'd have guessed my preference would be larger chunks, but I'd be wrong. This is delightful! New York Wildberry Cheesecake gelato has a great, natural cheesecake flavor. The swirls of berry are rather sweet, but tempered by the tangy base. Chocolate Dipped Strawberry was a surprising household favorite with it's uber creamy pretty-pink base and stracciatella style dark chocolate. They offer a variety of flavors, with some seasonal. All gelatos were a bit harder than ice creams, which is no surprise given they have less cream/fat in them. I am sure if left at room temperature for five or ten minutes (as you are supposed to do for all frozen treats), they would be perfect consistency, but I never have the restraint to wait that long. We bought everything in pint ($5.50) or quart size ($7.50), but you know those long rectangular containers seen at gelateria's? YOU CAN BUY A WHOLE ONE FROM BON BON ($30)! Can you imagine how perfect that would be for a party? There is a $30 minimum, which is extraordinarily easy to meet, and a $5 delivery charge. Go support this wonderful local business crafting such delicious treats!

Definitely recommend reading the menu before walking in. We sampled 4 different flavors and each were underwhelming. They had a lot of fun flavors, but it was mostly an unflavored ice cream base with a bunch of mix ins. We got the oreo & ice cream sandwich mix in one and all we tasted was the great value brand ice cream sandwich in each bite. I wish the base ice cream had more flavor. The best part was the cone. They are served warm and the flavor was perfect. The cone carries the ice cream. It's also a spendier ice cream (we paid $9 for 2 scoops and a cone). For the price i'd recommend Coldstone instead. The experience was fun though. The workers were in costumes and all the decor was centered around the 1700s. The workers were so sweet and did a great job.
