However, I would at least expect the homemade mango juice to be chilled and/or ice to be added to make the drink a little cool at $10. We still LOVED the energy booster. It leans heavier on peanut butter flavor than chocolate or espresso, but it's fantastic, filling, and, of course, refreshing thanks to the ~chilled~ almond milk. The rooftop location is super cool, open air with beautiful California sunshine and gorgeous views stretching all the way out to La Jolla beach. The colorful hanging fabrics give the whole space such a fun and vibrant energy. Our instructor was amazing, super patient and attentive with each of us to make sure we were doing the poses safely and correctly. I honestly surprised myself with how flexible I still am! The class gave us a really deep stretch and left me feeling relaxed and refreshed in a way I wasn't expecting. The space also has a big yoga dome right next door and a restaurant serving up a great selection of healthy food, which is a nice bonus before or after class. Just a couple things to keep in mind: parking can get tricky so give yourself extra time, and spots in the class fill up fast so make sure to book ahead. He gave me a couple options which included the Strawberry Glow, the Mint Chocolate Chip or the Muscle Mender. I finally decided on the strawberry glow and was very interested to see how I would like it & decided to pair with a bee sharp açaí bowl. Julian was super friendly and asked if it was my first time at the juicery. I proceeded to tell him that it was my first time in San Diego, so I was very excited to try a new place. Julian's service was very quick and efficient!! Once my items were done, he handed them off to me and I went outside to finally try my delicious breakfast :) When I tell you....HANDS DOWN the BEST breakfast I've had in a long time! Both items were extremely refreshing and delicious!! I was honestly very surprised at how well I enjoyed the avocado and dates paired in the strawberry glow smoothie. You can't really beat the refreshing taste of fresh fruit and nutty granola and butter. Especially when you can take this delectable bowl to the beach and just vibe in the sand. Wave Bowl $16 (14.50+1.50): 5/5 The bowl itself looks fairly small like, but deceptively so since I was stuffed after eating the whole thing for breakfast. It is higher cost than I would usually spend but I don't eat açaí bowls to know the average. Personally I really liked that the toppings were at the bottom and the bases were on top, not just because it was a beautiful display but because sometimes when it is the opposite, it can quickly get messy with toppings falling and dropping. The granola was crunchy and the add-on nut butter ($1.50) was plentiful and contrasted well to the fruits. You get some finely diced strawberries and bananas that were just the right amount of ripe, the bananas a little more firm but definitely preferred with the bases. The pineapple spirulina was favorite as it had a good sweetness to it. Honestly wished I could get a bowl with just this as a base and of course the natural blue color is just so unique. Even if you end up getting through the line to order, there doesn't seem to be a guarantee that there will be a table for you as seating was relatively limited. I ended up getting a to-go order since I didn't want to wait in line, but was a bit disappointed in the food given the hype. The California burrito was good but could have been more flavorful and the fries could've been crispier, and the mango sticky rice matcha was great in concept but the matcha flavor could've been stronger in execution.
