In the context of subway, good one here. Food was made to order. Nothing was missing. The two young guys were professional and friendly.

The older woman was so unbelievably rude. She refused to serve me and told me to leave the store over a simple miscommunication. She told me I had an attitude which I did not, she was the only one with an attitude. She completely escalated the situation for which there was a simple solution. I've worked In customer service before and i understand it can be frustrating at times but to just completely lose it and take it out on a customer is so ridiculously unprofessional and rude. I have been to this location a few times before and the guys have always been very nice, which is why I am very upset and disappointed with this experience and hope they do something about her behavior. waited in line behind only 2 people for 15 mins. It's 430pm on a Saturday..I ordered a foot long meatball sub and was advised they didn't have but 2 meatballs and wasn't fixing anymore. So I ordered the pizza sub thenI ordered Italian bread and they were out of that and then no bell peppers and so I ordered banana peppers and they were out but went to back to get some. That was another 5 mins. I ordered the sub toasted but by the time she went to get the banana peppers the sub was cold..Service was slow slow with only two people there. read more

It bothers me to have to give a business a bad rating. I will consult with the manager tomorrow and remove this if she is professional and if I don't have to deal with rude teens who lack respect next time I visit. (I come frequently). I came in and waited 15 min while they prepped an online order (no line). Cashier came over after she checked out last customer, started putting on gloves and I thought maybe I wouldn't have to say anything as long as she doesn't touch the finger flaps... nope. She was touching all over the gloves. Ugh! The worse when I have to remind someone to do their part by preventing illnesses, simply by washing hands! I told her, she said not to worry about it, the sandwiches she's helping to make aren't for me anyway! whaaaaa??? So, it's fine that it's for someone else? The other girl took her gloves off, went to wash her hands and started to tease me about my legit request to the other girl. She washed her hands for about a min while giggling and rolling her eyes with the other chick. Dried hands and arms and then said she was going to the back to get Sanitizer too, walked to back, I heard a cough and she came back quickly saying nevermind, just kidding. I asked her why she was being rude and smart ass. She looked at me with a dropped jaw, I told her all I asked was for washed hands, you don't have to be rude about the routine! My family and I walked out and went to firehouse subs. I think I might make it my new subs stop, if subway employees keep it up. It's not that hard to wash your hands. We can wait the 30 seconds, I promise no one will be mad about it. Btw I did ask "Do you mind washing your hands please?" They could've said "yes I do mind" and it would've been the end of the story. I could've walked right out instead of enduring all that negativity and dramatic drama skit. P.S. To the Caucasian chick, I understand peer pressure is tough on kids these days, the Hispanic girl can take up for herself. No need to be pressured to join in. It got you no where, but a dropped jaw and red face when I took up for myself!! Don't let someone else's negative remarks to customers bring you down to their level. The worst. People with attitudes. Poor inventory control. Order placed on Wednesday and told Oops we ran out of bread Ok. You cancel it yourself. Lady, your own website says you cannot cancel an online order. Today Manager can't answer questions about ordering/cancelling but wants to lecture me about how other people cancel orders all the time "on Door Dash". He can't even tell the difference between Door Dash and their proprietary order system. This place has been here for years because this town has few other options. I came to this subway on 11/22 at just before 7. The dining area was clean and presentable. Also the staff was very kind. Unfortunately management wouldn't allow for bread inventory to be replenished. I ended up with the last of their bread and had to have a sandwhich put on flatbread. I really feel like this sets your staff up for failure trying to ride out 2 hours of service with only flatbread and wraps. I took it in stride as did the employees but that was a bad call by management not ensuring inventory throughout business hours. read more

ordered a pizza online for the little brother. (Idk why he likes their pizzas because subway in general is nasty but he does so whatever) Paid online. Go into the store and they say they don't have pizza.. okay that's cool no problem. Can we get our money back? NOPE! They said they couldn't give our money back because their manager wasn't there... What does a customer do in this situation?? How can an establishment just not give you your money back? Unfortunately my expectations have never been too high at Subway's, however I've only had good experiences every time that I go to this location. I have to give a shout-out to Dustin, the young dude that made my sandwich the past couple of times. I dont know how old he is but I am very impressed with his work ethic. For as young as he looks you'd think this dude has been making sandwiches for decades. He has such good "muscle memory" his hands seem to fly about the deli in a whirlwind, all the while talking with the customers, and preparing everything exactly as requested. I'd highly recommend Dustin and this location for your sandwich needs. read more

Horrible! Ordered online, was supposed to be ready in 25 minutes. Got to store, they had not started, said they were starting my sandwich. Went to car for 5 minutes, came back in and they were making sandwiches for others and my order sitting there. I asked if it would be better for me to cancel order, Amanda told the other girl to hurry and make my sandwich do I would get the f**k out of there. Then Amanda handed me my ticket and told me, I had to sign it, I told her I had ordered cookies and they were not there, so that needed to be adjusted then I would sign. Amanda tells me he was a trainee and could not fix ticket. Amanda has no customer service traits, she is rude, cusses like a Sailor. Really wish I could give them less than one star. This place is filthy. There is this older lady working and she puts the wrong meat on the sandwich and then trows it back into the container when the customer says "wrong meat". TALK ABOUT CROSS CONTAMINATION! On top of that, half of the stuff is not covered bu their proper lids. And when they reach for a meat or veg, they don't re-cover it. As a traveler, I was staying in the Alvarado TX area to complete a purchase transaction with MHSRV. On my way back to the dealership, I decided to stop at Subway located at 310 W. Highway 67, Alvarado TX, to purchase a sandwich, soda and chips for lunch. Although, it was a busy time for the sandwich maker, she was friendly. Once my sandwich was ready, the sandwich maker calls a woman from the back to operate the cash register. Upon hearing the cost of my purchase, I put a twenty-dollar bill in this women's hand. After making change, she put my receipt and change on the countertop. "Do you really think that is respectful customer service?" I asked. She only showed her brown teeth while smirking. If I had not been hungry, I would have demanded my twenty-dollar bill be returned and spend it at a respectful food establishment. As a youth, I was taught respect which I still give when dealing with others. Therefore, when doing business with others, I always put the cost of my purchase in the cashier's hand and I expect the same as a customer. This employee needs to be reprimand and reminded the success of a business (small or large) is dependent on the respect and friendliness an employee shows when dealing with customers. What can I say? Nothing is as good to a vegetarian when one can walk in a substore & pick out all the vege ingredients you want for a reasonable price! Of course, one takes a chance if you choose cheese or other meat products that have been sitting out most of a day. My experience with Subway! I don't even know where to start. First contact with employee... he was in such a rush to make our order that my son (15) started his sandwich and he ask me ma'am what would you like on your sandwich. I ask him to wait on my son first... my son start his order... employee (man) ask him what kinda bread... he had already told him 4 times... by this time he has 2 of the same breads out ... he then looks at me and ask what I wanted... I told him ... You have 2 breads out and we have only order 1 sandwich.. He states I can make more then 1 sandwich at a time very rude.... I told him to go ahead and complete my son sandwich... and he kept asking very rudely what I want to order. At this point I told the gentleman I wasn't going to put up with his attitude. He became even more rude... and I said I don't like your attitude and I'm about to leave ... he "OK" . The manager and another employee was standing there and my husband ask the manager do you not hear how he treating us... I've gotten some remarks made when I ask to have my "sandwich" made the way I like it, but never before the way this employee did it. I use an egg white to act as my bread and add veggies to it before heating it up. She kept asking me what bread I wanted and I said that I was using the egg white. She said, "you have to have bread". I said that I don't use bread. I asked her to get the red, silicone mold and I would show her. She got it and started preparing. After putting on several vegetables, she actually said, "this is more difficult for me". I laughingly said, "well it's gonna make me happy.. you know me.. the customer". She didn't say anything and then when ringing me up, she said, "I don't know how you're possibly going to eat that". I said, "I use my hands and put it in my mouth". I did end up getting a little rude as she has absolutely no business whatsoever remarking the way she did about how I want my food to be prepared. I felt very uncomfortable as people behind me in line could hear all of this! I was very embarrassed. I can't believe that anyone would talk to a customer that way! Who cares how I want it made.. just do it and keep your opinion to yourself! Don't understand why she would try to embarrass me like that and act like I'm the one being difficult. Very disappointed! Toaster oven not working, maybe not their fault but the nasty falling apart bread was. Lady took her time while people were in line and the other one just stayed in the back. I got charged for a cookie I didn't receive and the sweet tea was not sweet and tasted like it had food in it. It was gross. read more
