More often than not, you are left standing there wondering if anyone is going to acknowledge you. Meanwhile, the drive-thru appears to receive all the attention in the building. (Sometimes, they stand around doing nothing completely just to avoid the cash register, ignoring you and very much noticing you.) Once you finally manage to order, be prepared to wait. Fifteen minutes seems to be the bare minimum, and I have watched customers stand around waiting for their food while drive-thru orders continue flying out the window, or the workers don't seem to bother to make the food for the people inside waiting. I understand that restaurants get busy, but when the people standing inside are consistently waiting this long, something clearly needs to be addressed. The atmosphere is another issue. Nearly every employee looks absolutely miserable to be there. One employee even openly said that they hate working there. I appreciate honesty as much as the next person, but perhaps that is not the sort of thing customers should be hearing while waiting for a Happy Meal. I am not asking for a red carpet or a personal serenade with my Big Mac. I would simply like to be acknowledged when I walk in, have my order taken in a reasonable amount of time, and receive my food without feeling as though I have been forgotten. Management really needs to take a look at how this location is being run. Customers should not feel like an inconvenience for choosing to walk inside instead of using the drive-thru.
