I ordered a Turkey sandwich. This was my first time ordering from this location. It was peak time during lunch so the team wasn't able to help too much. The sub was decent nothing unique about the sub. I may try eating here again and order a different type of sub. Be prepared to wait a little if you come during lunch. I am attempting to get in contact with someone concerning a beyond poor experience at the Lenny's Grill & Subs at 1016 W Poplar Ave Collierville, TN 38017 United States. The employee whom was taking my order was beyond rude and lacked knowledge about menu. I then scanned the receipt and put in a complaint regarding the matter and the manager Tina proceeded to call me and argue with me about my complaint instead of trying to rectify the issue. She then hangs up the phone as I'm speaking and then 10 minutes later calls me back. I am at work at this time so the phone call goes to voicemails. I have the voicemail stating that she was refunded me the catering order I placed and I was no longer welcome in the location. This was extremely unprofessional. The manager and staff lack training in customer service. This location is not a good representation of the Lenny brand. read more

Lenny's sets itself apart from other sub shops in the area by offering the best quality of their fresh ingredients meat breads & a small variety of side items. Lenny's has an excellent selection of sandwiches they offer on their menu. Whether it's your steak & cheese or just something as simple as a ham & swiss. If you're still wanting all that same great taste of a sandwich without the bread let Lenny's serve it to you as a salad. I'm one that usually cuts corners when I can so I order a Lenny's sandwich as a salad myself. As far as their sides they have some pretty decient chips and cookies. Outside of just having Coke products their lemonade and tea are impressive I would recommend this Lenny's location for its excellence in customer service cleanliness of the dining room and the way they prepare and serve their food whether you prefer a hot or cold sandwich. Way better than subway, but a bit pricier. The only place to get their exclusive crushed red pepper relish ( reminds me of New England sub shops ) anyway the subs, chip selection, drinks, salads, etc all make for a good sandwich stop. While there are several Lenny's around, I highly recommend the Poplar ave Collierville location. They get it right, enough said. BTW, if you haven't been to Lenny's in a while, they have a 7 1/2" sandwich now instead of just small, which was not quite enough and the large that was always too much, so I guess it's a medium, sort of. I have coined the phrase "The Goldilocks size Lenny's" so there you have it. My favorites: Philly and Italian with the rare tuna. It was philly today and was terrific with a big ol' lemonade. My daughter wanted Lennys today so we decided to head to the one nearest us, which was this Collierville location. Attempted to order online but the app stated they weren't accepting orders at the time. No worries, I decided to go in. I always speak and say hello when I arrive somewhere, the staff didn't acknowledge it. As I was giving the cashier my order she seemed frustrated. I asked if it had been a long day, she responded with a slight nod of yes. That explained the lack of response I received when I came in. The food was Ok, I will most likely pass this location up the next time the family wants Lennys as I usually have a pretty good experience. My daughter wanted olives on her philly cheese steak, she was surprised by the overwhelming amount of olives she received . My Buffalo chicken philly sandwhich was Buffalo sauceless. I assumed this was the management team or franchise owners on staff today, just an assumption though. Awful Customer Service at 7:30pm on Friday, August 28, 2023. Note, there were no other customers in the facility. I ordered two hot subs. The lady grilling the meat was right on it. The man and woman out front were jabbering and laughing and I waited for nearly 15 minutes before I got my take-out bag with the two sandwiches. I was looking at them the entire wait. Woo-hoo! This place provided a takeaway Veggie sandwich box lunch that was much better than my last experience. The crunch of the bell peppers was a nice surprise and there was lots of lettuce, onion, pickles, tomatoes, olives and a slice of cheese completed the rest of the fillings. Our packed lunch also included bag of peanuts, chips, cookie and a drink. Will definitely recommend ordering here for takeaway lunch boxes, as the veggie sandwich was worth it! Ordered two subs and finally, 1 hour & 8 minutes after ordering, I finally left the Collierville location with my correct order. After getting the incorrect sub, I was told that if I bring it back, they would then make me a new (correct) one. I was watching my team play football and asked if they could have it ready, because I was heading their way right now. They told me "NO." They have to have the incorrect one before they made the correct one. So, I enter the store, wait in line, and give the cashier/order taker my incorrect sub along with the ticket. She tells me that she will make it right away. Bear in mind, this is Saturday night and they are not busy. Finally, after watching 2 customers who came in after me get their food, I walked up to the counter. The worker looked at me and I could tell by her look, she had forgotten about me. She said she would make it right away. Finally, she would make it. After I've been waiting in their store for over 20 minutes and they've taken care of every customer in the store. Management here is a joke! Good luck with catering orders! After trying to call the store for over an hour on a Friday night, getting a busy signal, I was going to give up and go with another sub shop, which in hindsight I wish I would've done. A family member in Collierville offered to get in their car and drive over to place the order. When going into the store, there was one customer in the store eating. The phone was off the hook, and the worker told my family member that someone had called in and they were short,-staffed so they took the phone off the hook. Ummm-catering orders cannot be placed online. Therefore, unless you live nearby and can come in, they must be phoned in. Since when is it good business to take your phone off the hook for over an hour? However, my family member placed the order for our funeral catering for the next day, and all was well. When we showed up to pick up the order and spoke to the manager, she didn't know anything about the issue and offered every lame excuse in the book, besides APOLOGIZING or offering a discount or free cookie. Lame excuse for management. Then, I called the store for multiple weeks afterwards, leaving my name and number for the owner to call me back, which he never did. Good luck surviving in Collierville with this customer service. I'll never be back. Too many sandwich shops to frequent besides ones that lack the customer touch.
