Upon entering this Subway I noticed how clean it was, when ordering sandwiches, there's where the issues were. Right away The sandwich maker started rattling off things they were out of, basic sandwich elements like black pepper, green peppers, onions, olives and no pepper jack cheese. From my experience, the store manager would be notified about shortages and these items would be gotten locally in the mean time until the distributors showed up with there own supply. There answer to the problem is well we're out, tough luck. You get a subpar sandwich. This took place early in the evening on a Monday night, around 7:00. 07-23-2024 Not bad for a rest stop. The restrooms where clean. The dining area was clean. Our food was good. The only hiccup was it seems the employees really didn't communicate with each other. From ordering to making to purchasing seemed awkward for us. Maybe they are a new team since there is a sign saying under new management. This place seemed busy. First of all, I can say the veges are fresh... but they were out of green peppers, so the Philly beef only had onions. I tried to order one of their new wraps. I just had one 2 weeks ago at another store. It was delicious. But guess what, the employee behind the counter told me. They are no longer carrying the big tortilla wraps instead, they are using flat bread! They put the filling on the short end and roll it the long length.. so you end up with a wrap that is mostly flat bread, and maybe the length of a 6" sandwich. Then they charge the wrap price, which us as much as a 12" sandwich. No, thank you!! read more

The Cottage Grove Subway always offer digital coupons. They never accept them. The coupons aren't able to be loaded Therefore, cannot be redeemed. The clerks are nice. It always take at least 30min longer for the order to be processed. From start to finish the order is typically 30 min late. A recent visit was the same. We ordered and the app stated that they were finished making the sandwiches, when in reality they had not even started making the sandwiches. So why offer online service if what is stated is always wrong. read more

I gotta stop coming here. They were out of ingredients and when they ask you what you want they don't listen. So you repeat yourself like 5 times. The customer service here is suspect and there was a manager at a table surfing thru instagram on her phone while one person who is not remotely in a hurry is serving a like of 4-5 customers... it's bad EVERY TIME I'm there... Honestly not really a review, more of an eye opener for everyone wondering why every employee in this store looks miserable. This store has got to be run by the worst, cheapest, most out of touch franchisee this part of the pacific northwest. Not only does he have unrealistic expectations from his employees, but he constantly will also prioritize profits over the safety of his employees. Constantly, highschoolers are closing by themselves, even when incidents where CGPD has had to be called have occurred, and he refuses to have the lobby close, when every single other restaurant in the area closes the lobby at least an hour or two after close. Do you want to know how many General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Operations specialists (run multiple stores) have quit from this store alone in the last year and a half because of his out of touch expectations? At least twelve, that I can remember. The people there are constantly not getting their raises that they're promised, good employees are punished by getting more work dumped on them for no extra pay at all. I commute pretty frequently between Medford and Portland and this is always my halfway lunch spot. They're definitely always busy but the staff are super friendly and working hard to get customers in and out as quick as possible. Most of the bad reviews for this place seem like they're from people who've never worked customer service. I ordered a Spicy Italian sandwich with bacon on it and came to pick up my order and it came with no bacon. I called to see what could be done as I had no time to go back since I was on my lunch and the employee told me my bacon was in the microwave and then cut me off and said "what do you want me to do about it" when I told her I couldn't return today. Very unprofessional employees as they can't even answer the phone without an attitude? Worst deli sandwich ever!!!! Deli employee had no idea what he was doing. My hot sandwich was cold. Menu said it was a panini but they don't have a panini press. They just stuck it in an oven and toasted the top layer of bread and called it a panini. They only covered about half the bread with meat and cheese and the rest was just plain bread.
