Well this is a 2* Taco Bell for a reason...they don't check receipts before sending bags out and it shows. I ordered 6 things and came home with 4 no sauces that I paid for extra. We hit up Taco Bell whenever we take a road trip. We have eaten at many different locations along the way, but this one, in Cottage Grove, takes the cake. The food was the best that we have ever had at any Taco Bell. We visited this fine establishment on a Friday before a holiday weekend, around noon. We had a special order along with some additional burritos. The food was fresh and hot. Every food item was picture perfect, not sloppily thrown together. The burritos were rolled without holes and the contents were perfect and flavorful. The special order was built better than expected. Staff were friendly and seemed happy to be working in the customer service/food industry. Our food came out hot, quick, tasty and accurate and the staff were delightful. Definitely putting the Cottage Grove Taco Bell on our must stops on future road trips. read more

I literally open the app without picking a location and will see one price, then pick this location and watch the meal that was already overpriced at $14.99 become $18.99 magically. So then I close the app. "El Ricon" is up the block and wayyy better. Update1: I was about to order food, but backed out because the price jumped at checkout. $18.80 for 6x tacos and two drinks?!? We have eaten here several times in the past with varying results but this time was truly awful! Tried to order one of the new boxes they offer with no luck poor kid didn't have a clue. So we just ordered a la cart. Nothing fancy. Couple of burritos, a chalupa and a Crunchwrap .The meat in my husbands burrito was completely missing and mine had about a teaspoon each of meat and beans that was it! But the real problem was the temperature! Everything in that bag was body temperature warm. Perfect for growing all types of bacteria! This Taco Bell is pretty good, if you go at the right hours. Around dinner time I try to avoid this place, but for breakfast or lunch I usually have a pretty good time. I haven't had a messed up order so far either. Overall I'd say it's pretty nice, but that's if you go at the times I said. The transition from breakfast to lunch seems to be the best time. Love Taco Bell, hate Cottage Grove's version. I'm writing this after several attempts to get a descent meal. Incredibly slow drive thru. Tables & floor unclean. Workers have a "don't care " attitude and worst of all...some food is prepared ahead of time then overcooked, baked to death under a heat lamp. Love the rolled tacos, but you will receive dark crispy bones to gnaw on that taste only of dirty grease. The guacamole is literally watered down and peculiar tasting. Most of the time they will not get your order correct. Their phone number is even listed incorrectly. Sadly, I live here and it is now my last food resort. read more
