    This is untouched

I just visited this subway today and my service was one of the worst I've experienced. The guy was was wearing his mask around his chin, not covering his mouth or nose. He was walking around making sandwiches and addressing customers sitting at the tables still not wearing his mask. Then our sandwich's were poorly made and were just falling apart as we were trying to eat them. Would not recommend!

I walked in and was immediately hit with the strong smell of feces. I gagged and left. If I could rate this place a 0/5 I would.

Slow as hell. This Subway is the worse one I've been too. Pass it by. Screwed up the sandwich. That is hard when I'm the only customer.

Great crust and a hard to beat pizza sauce are just the beginning. My wife had a Greek side salad that scored even more points. Paired with her cheese pizza. I had pepperoni and sausage. The only negative marks I could even add were Pepsi products. There fresh brewed tea more than made up for that. Now we can debate what is and isn't on a Hawaiian Pizza. For me, pineapple and Canadian bacon are the only way to go. They added onions and used chopped ham to the pineapple...otherwise, everything was perfect! The hostess and chef came out to make certain everything was great. It was! GYSOT! Today!

Be advised, settling for mediocrity and sacrificing one's self respect is the true price of Big Woods pizza. The crust was thick and bland. The sauce was thin and watery. And what self identified as flavor lacked cohesion and imagination. Their attempt at reimagining pizza flopped and did nothing but disappoint and dash hopes. The atmosphere was ok-ish but lacked in uniqueness. It was a cliche. Yes, pizza was ordered, but counterfeit calories masquerading for authenticity was what was served. I won't be back. Chef Boyardee needs to come out of retirement. His canned pasta would have at least been worth the stop and wait. So let's focus on the lonely positive among so many negatives. I gave it the second star because there was Diet Mtn Dew. Yes, a true and mighty plus. So hey, let's be inclusive. Let's celebrate and recognize all wins, no matter how minimum and minuscule they may be. Good job you!

However, as I parked I spied Sleepy Hollow Gourmet Deli & Cafe along with a Jack's Donuts. I was curious. So, I wheeled over and realized they were like conjoined culinary twins. I detoured my plans and decided to hang out at Sleepy Hollow, a delightfully named establishment (though I do wish they'd lean into the decor a bit more) for this Irvington-set restaurant. Jack's does seem to be the dominant force here. There are donuts, bagels, cookies, and even kolaches. The prices are surprisingly affordable. Drinks include hot coffee, iced coffee, lattes, boba energy, and Pepsi products. They do have both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. The menu also includes Choc-ola! The deli menu includes toasted subs (every sub has 1/4-pound of meat and you can go double for an extra price). They use Boar's Head meats. You can get chips and a soft drink to make it a combo. This strip center is always a little hit-and-miss in terms of access, however, with some nearby road construction it seems just a bit slower and I was able to find a spot that improved my accessibility. If you go to the door by the entrance, the curb has a bit of a step to it. If you go to the end of the aisle, there's a smooth and level section to make it all easily work. The interior itself is nicely laid out and easily accessible. The employees were super friendly. They also offer catering. There's a combination of higher-top tables and regular tables. Business was fairly steady, however, I had no issue finding a place to sit. I ended up ordering a chicken salad sandwich that was a healthy size and quite tasty. I grabbed a bag of chips and my usual unsweetened iced tea. Pricing was right about $13. Overall, I was quite pleased and I would easily return. Whether you're seeking donuts or a deli sandwich, Sleepy Hollow (or Jack's) is an ideal place to stop in.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!
