So I joined the "Subway MyWay Rewards" and on your first order of two foot-longs, the second one is half price. Well, it's not worth it and you better check all and "Cross those T's and Dot those I's" because they will charge you the highest "Sandwich Artist Tip possible"...I got duped for $2.61 on a total of $9.39 for both sandwiches. Then when I got home to finally enjoy the sandwiches with Family, the bread was SO old it just flaked with eat bite. One of the breads was wrong and there was SO much pepper, it was uneatable. As someone also "Yelped", they ended up in the trash...live to far to justify going back plus just won't return to Subway. On Friday I ordered a subway sandwich. I ordered a foot long honey oat with grilled chicken and provolone. Toppings were: spinach, tomatoes, salt and pepper, sweet onion sauce, and light chipotle sauce. I went home retoasted the sandwich and ate it for dinner. At 3 am I woke up because I got sick. So grossed out after coming here today. Their ice machine had some nasty gunk coming out of it when I went to get my drinks! Some of it was frozen inside ice cubes, and some of it was literally just flaking out with the ice. I went ahead and just got the drinks without ice, but the more I thought about it, I decided just to toss the drinks completely. Edit: nobody should feel like they don't want to come back to this subway, especially if you live in town. The owner obviously isn't doing anything about it so all we have to do is call corporate. If you want something actually done, call 833-778-2929 and you can tell them how the owner is doing nothing about the bad service and tell them about whatever else you may want to change. Horrible. Only subway I have to worry about my sandwich. The owner is ruining it for the people of Escalon. I usually try to avoid this Subway anyways because it's the only one in town so it's usually pretty busy & they normally skimp on your veggies. I've been watching carbs so we went so I could get an over priced salad & the rest of my family could get a sub. It's 6pm on a Sunday night & they are out of freaking BREAD!!! How in the heck does a sandwich shop run out of bread? They tell us it will be 20ish minutes until it's done. No thanks! I came for the salad so I still got my salad. The unfriendly boy behind the counter seemed annoyed at almost everything. I wanted the bacon heated so it wasn't limp cold yuck. He also seemed annoyed I wanted it chopped as well. Which I shouldn't have even bothered because I got a sad not really chopped salad! Checking out he gives me croutons & never asks if I want any type of dressing. I had to ask him for it. Usually it's put on the salad but I figured maybe they did it differently. I also felt bad for the guy who walked in after us. The 2 guys working didn't acknowledge his presence at all. Then the guy not helping me went about refilling the vegetables again not acknowledging the guys presence & telling the the guy he needed to take his break when he was done with my salad. Stopped by at 11:20 am on 9/12/21, thinking to have a slightly different fast food experience on a trip to Bay Area. When I entered the store, there was a sign suggesting ? that mask wearing was required. The person who seemed to be the only employee ? was wearing her mask below her chin, and I pointed out that was incorrect, useless and one of the reasons this pandemic is not under control. Instead of apologizing, she demanded to know how many sandwiches I wanted. At that point I said, "none" and pointed out it was ignorant people like her who are fueling the continued tragedy of ICU beds being full of mostly ignorant people who stupidly refuse to do what is safe. So I went over to Burger King where people were at least trying to properly wear masks. The young lady needs to have a review of courteous behavior and proper safety. Who know what other rules of safety she is ignoring. This is no way to run a business. Thanks for this opportunity to ventilate this legitimate concern. First they were out of bread except for wheat, the Redhead girl was rude and scooped the Tuna and leveled it on the lip of the pan. I eat there frequently and they never level it off when questioned about it she became argumentative, for an $8 sandwich it was just not worth it and told her to forget it and while leaving her comment was "Thank you for being a B-chy customer" wouldn't give her name. Plus she had a problem when the wife told her how she wanted the salad, I won't eat there again and will gladly go to Manteca or Ripon for a sandwich worth the price and less attitude. read more

He charged me extra thinking i wouldn't notice and didn't give me a receipt. i asked for a receipt and he said the machine was down as i watched it print. He gave me the receipt and when i asked why he charged me extra, he then began to blame his poor employees that do nothing but work hard. I would definitely NOT recommend this place!!! there are better and cheaper places that won't try to take advantage of you. the owner needs to spend more time worrying about his business and not his muscles. read more

I can't believe the experience I just had at this Subway. I live in Escalon and decided to grab a sandwich on my way home from work. I walked in the door at 7:15 and I was surprised how loud the music was. There were no other customers. I was greeted properly I asked for a little time to make my decision. I let the girl know I was ready but unfortunately she couldn't hear me over the music. I waited patiently for her to look up which took a couple of minutes. I had to ask her to repeat her questions as I couldn't hear her over the music. She was short and so am I so the protective glass made it a bit harder too. I'm a little shocked that she didn't say I'm sorry let me turn the music down. Nope, she was clueless! Just a little advice Subway you don't have good reviews on here...maybe you need to make some changes. I'd rather keep my business in Escalon but you give me no choice ... Next time I'll drive to Modesto or Riverbank! read more
