Wanted to eat Tuna salad sandwich and found this Subway near the hotel I was staying. Subway is always my favorite when traveling. Always fresh and I know what I am getting. They also have daily special and I was lucky to find that tuna sandwich was the special for Friday. This Subway location used to be really good and consistent with the sandwich making. It has gone way downhill in the past year, especially if you are ordering online to pickup. I ordered the Turkey Titan, which is supposed to have over 30% more Turkey and 2X the cheese. I have gotten this at the Butler location before and it has always been extremely loaded and really good. Ordering it at this location was a joke. There were exactly 4, very thin slices of turkey in each six inch section, as well as only one full slice of cheese instead of two, and the cheese was American, not the pepper jack I requested. Very little lettuce and tomatoes when I asked for extra, and I couldn't taste the oil and vinegar on the sandwich at all. Why did I pay extra for the Turkey Titan when it had less turkey on it than the regular turkey? I also ordered an All American Club that had the same issues. Exactly 2 thin slices each of turkey and ham and one slice of cheese, not the two advertised in each 6 inch section. Very little lettuce and tomatoes instead of the extra requested also. If it was my first experience with such a poorly made sandwich I would have thought it was because I ordered the 'buy one, get one free' offer if ordering online only, and that's why they were so cheap with the ingredients, except I have done this at the Butler location several times and only had a poorly made sandwich with very little toppings there once, and it only happened with one of the two sandwiches ordered because they were each made by a different person. It used to be all the Subways were consistent and you knew no matter which one you went to, or who made it, the sandwich was always pretty much the same. I blame poor training as the main cause of this, as well as the companies new practice of expecting the customer to tip the workers for sandwiches that are no longer worth what they charge for them, let alone be expected to pay the workers 'extra' to make such a lousy, overpriced sandwich. If I had been paying the full price of $12 for each sandwich, plus tax I would have been calling the manager to complain and demanding my money back. As it is, with this being the third chance I have given this location to make a decent sandwich to just continually be disappointed, I will not be going back to this particular Subway ever again and will just have to hope the Butler location doesn't start to go down in quality as well. No wonder the franchises are closing everywhere. In years past you always knew what you would get when ordering sandwiches at Subway, but now that the company is to cheap to pay their workers minimum wage and expect the customers to pay the difference as a tip, the workers either just don't care anymore or are expected to make a mediocre sandwich to cut corners. I'm not sure which one it is with the Cedat Street location, nor do I care any more. Avoid this one at all costs, especially if ordering for pickup, and go elsewhere. You can find a much better made sandwich locally for $12. read more

From the outstanding customer service to the overall quality of the food and the environment, Subway truly is a great place to eat. Directly upon entering you are greeted by a "welcome." When ordering, the sandwich artists are willing to create anything that is asked for, the one that helped me in particular actually offered to change gloves when I asked for a veggie sandwich because she had recently made a sandwich with meat. Each ingredient is carefully added, and right up until the payment, the feeling is great, as the person working the register cheerfully makes conversation and discusses extra items while still keeping the transaction brief. I love subway because of all its options and generally a good sandwich even if I could make something similar at home if I really wanted to. This location has been good every time we come here, although the one on Plaza Way in town is my favorite. I do hate that getting fresh soft bread is hit or miss. Sometimes you can tell it was old because it's too flaky and sometimes it looks and feels like it was over cooked and I don't know how that happens because doesn't corporate set a bread baking time? I was dismissed by employee when I raised concern over price for items on receipt. I had ordered the meal deal but also an additional Sub of the day $3.49. It's confusing/misleading due to that price not being indicated on my receipt. The signage for the meal deal is confusing as well. A big part of the problem seems to be training/comprehension by staff/manager to explain pricing to customers. It looks like your cash register charged the correct total price, but please make the receipt easier to understand. Have been to this Subway a total of 5 times, out of that 5 times, they have only made my order right once. The staff is friendly enough, but that doesn't mean anything if, when you get home, you find your order wasn't completed as asked. Typical Flagstaff disregarding attitude twards customers. If I could,i I wouldn't give this any stars at all. The guy named Chris said he works there as a "manager"? He didn't understand our order and decided to get upset with an attitude quickly but another guy who was working with him made the situation less complicated and worked with us. i recently ate at this Subway. Very disappointed. The service was poor. It took a very long time to get my sandwich. When i went to pay, the cashier was rude and condescending. The sandwich was just ok. This is a Subway that should be avoided. read more
