Took my granddaughter for her favorite sandwich while she was visiting from out of town. The bread (Italian) was super chewy. Not sure why. The meat and cheese looked ok, but the Vegetables were absolutely Disgusting! The lettuce was brown and some of it looked slimy. In fact, the lady behind me asked the workers if they could put out some fresh lettuce and they told her all the lettuce they had looked like the one that's out. The cucumbers were shriveled and brown, red onions, etc.. etc! I had not been to this Subway in many years. I definitely won't be returning and will be advising those who go there to check the ingredients before you order. Sorry Lakeport Subway Your Store should be ashamed to sell such undesirable ingredients!! I truly don't know how you stay in business?? Next time, we'll go to the Safeway Deli. read more

This is a very disorganized and poorly-run restaurant. I will go in there and try to order an item from the menu that is hanging right there on the wall. Not a custom sandwich or a special order or anything like that. Yet somehow they will be totally confused about how to make the sandwich. Today I literally had to read each ingredient off the menu that was hanging over their own head in order for them to understand what they were supposed to put on the sandwich. They would put one thing on the sandwich and then just stare at me with a dumbfounded look until I gave them their next instruction. Again, this was not a special order or anything like that. This would be like me going to McDonalds and then having to describe to them how to make a BigMac, it just doesn't make any sense that this Subway doesn't even know how to make the sandwiches that are on their very own menu without you giving them step-by-step instructions. Imagine how that would play-out with a to-go order or something like Door-Dash? At least the employees were friendly, and the food does usually taste good once you teach them how to make it. read more

Food is constantly good and sandwhichrs are made by weights so you always get the same fillings. You get thru the line quick so great for take out. Thre is sitting available also. The ambiance is what you would expect from a quick sandwich stop . read more

Worst subway I've ever been to . Roast beef sandwich had four pieces of meat laid out on the biggest piece of bread . One slice of avocado no tomatoes were added to my sandwich like I'd asked . My husband basically ate a roast beef sandwich without the roast beef and had a mayonnaise sandwich for dinner . My tuna sandwich which I always get an extra scoop of because I know they don't put a lot of portion on I asked for onions and pickles I got one pickle and two slivers of onion . I spent $30 on my order . I later called back never heard from the manager . No wonder my husband doesn't like this place we won't be going there again read more

Most of the workers were kind and had good customer service - except a young male Hispanic worker who was incredibly rude and had very poor service skills. Phone number goes straight to voicemail and online ordering is often offline. Often, I don't have time to wait in the always long lines during lunch and very much appreciate the online ordering and pickup. In the last couple months the quality of the food has gone down from soggy bread to not getting orders correct. read more

This part of the review is for MANAGEMENT--/owners--you Ned to get your act together and get the AIR CONDITIONING FIXED PROPERLY!! This is the second time my husband and myself have been into the Lakeport business and the AIR CONDITIONING WAS BROKE--unacceptable for your customers but especially for your EMPLOYEES!! Bait and Switch "read the Small Print"; Looked on-line Subways Webpage under Foot Long specials for May. Then visited their store in Lakeport, CA, to purchase a spicy Italian foot long for $5.00. To my surprise the store would not honor Subway on-line menu. They tried to sell me the spicy Italian for an up charge of $7.00. Apparently the franchisee isn't required to honor Subways deals. Visited this location today (6/6/2020). The person making my food wasn't wearing their mask properly ( half way off their face therefore possibly contaminating my food and all of the exposed sandwich ingredients) and before I could leave the restaurant they complained to their coworker about having a "very bad sore throat". ??? I threw away my food due to the fact that I don't want to be exposed to COVID-19 by people who have improper personal hygiene. I will be reporting this restaurant to local authorities and the local health department in an attempt to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as subway isn't doing their part. The person making my food also didn't was their hands properly or apply their protective gloves properly rendering them ineffective... As a reminder to the reading audience it is PUNISHABLE BY LAW to knowingly spread COVID-19 / knowing not follow state and local health codes and laws during this global pandemic. Do better. I went in there and ordered a turkey, bacon, and guacamole wrap. I wasn't really paying attention and they put avocado. So at the end I asked if they put guacamole and they said no you said you wanted avocado and I remember vividly that I didn't say that and they continued to argue with me. They said it would be 75 cents for guacamole that I asked for in the begin so I didn't get it. But they argued with me which was very unprofessional. I will never go back. I grew up in Lakeport and have visited this Subway many times. I just wanted to leave a quick review for anyone who might be looking to stop by and say that I've always found this Subway to be great. Either incapable or unwilling to handle their catering (online) orders in a timely manner. We ordered two- 6 foot sandwiches for our New Year's Party. When the food did not arrive I contacted the 1-800 customer service number listed on the receipt only to be told the food hand not been made yet. I almost passed out. Next, the customer service representative asked me if I even wanted the food. It was New Year's Day in a very small rural community. Everything was closed. Of course i wanted the food. An hour and a half later the food arrived. If this had been a wedding and the food had not arrived what do you think would have happened? If this was a birthday party with children and food did not arrive what do you suppose would happen? Mass chaos would be the answer. A large portion of my guests left in search of food and did not return. I would like a refund for this food. That would be $220. I tried to speak with the manager (Himanshu) and he promised me a return call, which never came, so I have to report dishonesty and broken promises are also a part of this complaint. Subway in Lakeport is either unable or unwilling to deal with this repeated issue. The lesson is - buyer beware. Shannon handled the crowd very well on her own. When I arrived there was one customer eating. Shortly after I arrived there was a line of 7 people, one person left because she didn't want to wait.
