A friend of mine picked up us some sammies to eat at home. We each got the Italian sub and it did NOT disappoint. Lots of meat and other fillings. The bread was fresh. The small was plenty for me but would get a large for leftovers. Because, I mean, who doesn't love leftovers. Can't wait to try another sandwich here!

Really good sandwiches. Service was fast and correct. The place was close to a medical district so it was very convenient.

I wanted to love Antonini's, especially since they've been featured on The Texas Bucket List, but the food was a bit underwhelming for me. My friend recommended this place and warned me about the sign. The Antonini's sign is actually on the window; the main sign that is visible from the street just says "Subs." It's easy to pass if you're not paying attention. The restaurant is small and kind of a hole in the wall. I was sort of confused on the ordering process, because there's not a designated area to place your order. The owner told me that once I knew what I wanted, just shout it out. It's super casual and laid back for sure. I ended up ordering a small turkey sandwich with mayo. I had to wait a few minutes as they were working on a couple of orders ahead of me but it didn't take too long. The sandwich was very filling and the portion of turkey was very generous. I did like that the turkey was sliced thin. The sandwich could have used more mayo on it. My friend said she loves the spicy relish, but I didn't get any on my sandwich. It was a bit dry though and some extra mayo would have helped. Although the food didn't blow me away, the overall experience was fine and I would give Antonini's another try.

I don't know if I came in at a bad time or what but the service was subpar and the food was not something my husband and I could eat. The meatballs seemed old and the other sandwich was just oiled and plopped on. I tried the meat from the steak and it was tough and again seseemed old. I remember coming here years ago and it was a decent sandwich. Now it just seems like there isn't much care. $35 dollars just down the drain.

Best Italian sandwich in Texas. Small dining area, great drink selection. Worth stopping by for a bite.

What a unique sub. I go often and love their subs. The cherry pepper relish gives it a nice kick.

The owner used his bare hands to make our sandwiches. Should've recorded it and called the health department

It's not bad. Just antiquated. For the price it needs to be fresher. It's better by volume than just Subway but limited in options.

When I pulled up after going shopping earlier this morning the parking lot was long so there was plenty of parking to go around. I walked in and I feel like I'm really at a Pastry shop in Paris. They have everything in display shelves freshly made by the way. I ended up getting 2 Pastry Franks, 1 Garlic Sausage Pastry, 1 Twisted Donut and a Small Iced Caramel Macchiato. I just ate one of the Pastry Franks and to tell you the truth, I was blown away. You can tell the Croissant was fresh. It was flaky and you can see the layers as you take each bite, also it has a bit of sweetnesd to it as well. The sausage has a nice snap when you bite into it. The Caramel Macchiato was one of the best I've had in a long time. The espresso didn't taste burnt at all. It had a smooth taste that went well with the milk and caramel. The other pastries I have. I'll take it to work with me tomorrow. The customer service was some of the best I've seen in a long time. The ambiance is really like being in Paris at a café. All in all, I'll definitely be back for sure. I'll make sure to thank my manager for introducing me to this place. Y'all should definitely go check it out. Don't walk, RUN!!!!

Their pastries looked good. The group I was with enjoyed it. Prices were reasonable…read more My matcha frappe was made perfectly and that's not always a guarantee. So worth a visit.
