My husband visited this location last night about 30 minutes before closing and had a really disappointing experience. When he arrived, no one greeted him, and he had to wait several minutes before anyone came out to acknowledge him. When a female staff member finally appeared, she gave him a strange look--as if he was inconveniencing her just by being there. He politely asked if they were still open until 9:00, and she responded with a dismissive grunting sound and said something like "yes-ish." When he clarified that they still had about 30 minutes until closing, she made the same noise again and remained extremely rude. She never greeted him, didn't take his order, and eventually just walked away. He told her he'd take a minute to decide on his order, but she never returned. Thankfully, about five minutes before closing, another staff member came out who was kind, professional, and took his order without issue. But the earlier interaction really left a bad impression. This is especially disappointing because this has always been one of our favorite sandwich spots, but after this experience, our family likely won't be returning to this location. Poor customer service--especially when it's that blatantly rude--can really ruin what would otherwise be a great place to eat. I understand people have bad days and sometimes they don't handle it very well and sometimes they take their stress out on the people that they shouldn't and I have had an experience at Jersey Mike's where the person behind the counter got an attitude with me like I was inconveniencing them, and I simply stated out loud where the rest of the customers could hear. I'm sorry if I inconvenienced you do you normally speak to everyone like this or are you just having a bad day and after that their attitude improved tremendously. I've never had a bad meal here because they asked what I want line item by line item so if I get a bad mill, it's my fault because I'm the one that tells them how to make my sandwich so for those people that I've had bad experiences if you let people treat you bad then they're going to stand up for yourself and demand respect. I walked in with no other customers and got attitude just for being in there. Ordered two sandwiches and they were both wrong. The worker was not friendly and was incompetent. The past few times I've came to this location on Marina bay I've not been happy the past 2 times I've came here my food has been made wrong or given to someone else and then today 9/28/2023 I pull up at 8:41pm and they close at 9pm the doors where locked and the 2 male workers in there looked at me and kept cleaning up and what looked like cooking food for themselves, and as I was walking back to my car they kept turning around to see if I was still there. This was my second time going to Jersey Mike's but not my first time going overall. To be honest, I remembered it a little better than this past time. I tried the #17 Mikes classic Philly sandwich. I decided to get it on the white bread with provolone cheese instead of American or whatever was standard. I ordered the regular sandwich size and not the large sandwich. It came with green peppers and onions. Overall it did the job but was not like my last experience in the Woodlands where I ordered the exact same thing but with Chipotle sauce. I felt like there was something missing on it this time around. The bread was still fresh, soft and moist. The meat taste itself was seasoned well and was juicy. I was fortunate to get a generous portion of meat quantity. Next time, I might ask for double cheese and maybe even drop off the peppers not sure. I would like to point out that this is not a Subway type establishment. I feel like it brings a little more East-coast feel to it. For me, I think that's the ultimate reason why I've been going more than subway lately. This is not your calorie or carb watching food, this is The I want a good tasting sandwich. All in all, I probably paid about 12 bucks for the entire combo including soda and chips. The Resturant layout was good , clean and not busy that day. The person working the grill was a younger guy and had worked for the company for a few years. He was really helpful, nice and had a passion for what he did. This is another of my reviews that disappeared. I wrote this about 6-8-17 and somehow it's gone. I'm not up to doing this complete review again and I've pretty much forgotten how things went anyway, but I know it was a good visit. We were treated courteously and the meatball sandwich was excellent. UPDATE: I've been here three maybe four times now. They've gotten my order wrong and the last time I was there, I walked in at about 11am. One person was ordering and there was no were no other customers. They took my order quickly, then I waited 20 for them to make my sub. Twice I told myself to walk out. When I was trying to figure out how to make my credit card work in their machine the cashier pointed me to a selection of tips amount to add to my bill. I looked at him and said, "After waiting 20 minutes, you can't be serious." I lowered their rating to 3 stars. I would have made it 2 but the sub was good -- not 20 minutes good, but good. Pretty terrible experience here today. Food was fine, tasted like every other Jersey Mikes, only critique I would have in that regard would be that they overdid it on the oil and vinegar on the Italian sub to the point that the bun was literally soggy. I watched them drench the previous customers' sandwich so when I came up to pick out condiments I asked for no oil/vinegar so I didn't have to suffer the same fate. My main concern with this location was the staff. At best they were slow and at worst they were absolutely incompetent. Arrived around 12:15 so it was during the lunch rush. Working at a sandwich shop in a busy city I would assume that they would be familiar with this kind of demand at lunchtime on a weekday but this couldn't be further from the truth. There were 4 employees working back there and only 1 of them seemed like they had ever worked a day in their life. The one who dressed up my sandwich with condiments and fixings did it so slowly i feel like I aged 10 years while he worked. Next he handed the sandwich to the employee next to him so he could wrap the sandwich up and give it to the cashier to ring me up. This "sandwich wrapper" was undoubtedly under the influence of some sort of substance while he was working as his eyes were glazed over and he was basically moving in slow motion while the line of customers got more and more backed up. The cashier moved quickly and seemed very annoyed by his coworkers so I sympathize with him. Anytime we get a sub shop that isn't a nasty Subway franchise, I'm a happy, happy girl!! This is definitely not my first time to have Jersey Mike's, so I am familiar with them! I got the cold turkey/provolone "Mikes way". The only disappointments I would say we're that they weren't yet offering the mini size and they put way too much oil and vinegar. I have been to this location a handful of times, and this last time, I made the mistake (as did the hubs) of getting something other than a cold sub. I had the Baja chicken wrap and did not care for it at all. Hubs had the meatball sandwich and he left feeling very unsatisfied. So heed my warning, stick to the cold subs and avoid the wraps and heated subs. read more

It would be really helpful if you started putting the names on the sandwich bags for mobile orders. The online order form asks who each sandwich is for. The last several times, no name has been written on the bags. When I'm dropping off each sandwich to my kids at their schools, I have to.opem each one to figure our who it's for. This place has gone downhill. Today, Sat. 5.27.17, at 1:45, there were two people in line in front of me and one employee behind the counter. Close to work, so I have been 3 times since they opened 2-3 weeks ago. First time the supposed $2 grand opening sub promised on advertisements ended up costing $8.45 for sandwich only. Second time returned with spouse and they put WAY too much oil. It was all over the table, soaked into bread and running down arms from eating sandwich. Ridiculous Third time I returned with co-workers (on their suggestion not mine). 1 person got a meatball sub and was thoroughly displeased. No cheese (advertised with melted provolone) and bland meatballs/sauce. A second person in our party never received their sandwich. The others were done eating so he asked for and got a refund. Left hungry. They gave us coupons and apologized, but who know if they will honor them. They didn't honor their grand opening special. Once or twice opening jitters I can see, but there needs to be much improvement on the staff organization, overall I like he concept, but the dining area is to small and not very accommodating. Great Subs! My wife just happened to stop in here awhile back and brought me one of their Roast Beef Subs. I must say I was impressed!!! It's pretty close to my favorite Roast Beef from my go to place! Complete with the mayo, Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, vinegar and oil, oregano, and red pepper relish! I came back to get one for work a few days later, oh my goodness!!! It was like watching a Chinese firedrill in slow motion!!! There were a bunch of teenagers all working together/against each other trying to make sandwiches. It took awhile but they finally got it together. I waited awhile before I went back, and its a lot better now. Now there are usually two or three in the shop and its very well coordinated. They get your order and get right on your sandwich! Other than the Roast Beef, I have tried the Club that has Roast Beef, Turkey, Bacon, Provolone cheese, Lettuce, tomato, onions, vinegar and oil, with mayo and the red pepper relish. It was really good!!! Today was the first time I have checked in on Yelp while there ordering. Today I wanted to try something different, so I went with the Hot Grilled Rueben with sauerkraut, Provolone cheese and Thousand Island Dressing. I must say I was impressed with the Rueben too!!! It was very good!!! They have a host of other sandwiches, hot and cold, Flat bread wraps, and a children's menu! There is ample space inside to stay and enjoy your meal. I have yet to do that as I'm always just in and out on my way to work. But it's a really nice and clean place to come in for lunch, or dinner and enjoy a great Sub or whatever. They also have a fountain Coke (They only have Pepsi)machine with several flavors on tap. So if your in the area give them a try. I definitely like them better than a Subway!
