The quaint ambiance offered in the bricked room with fireplace, transforms one to another world. The food is satisfyingly upscale and the service is right on. One cannot resist the Tritip Asparagus sandwiches in spring, lemon ricotta pancakes for breakfast, and best of all, their freshly baked fruit pies!! We often take guests here, whether they are friends, or for a business lunch. This is a gem in the middle of vineyards~!!

I was informed that it was Taco Tuesday, so I was excited to take advantage of the offering. For lunch, I decided to order the following: - 3 QuesaBirria Tacos, served with beans and rice ($16) - Bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup ($10.50) - Mango Chile Lime Mimosa ($10) The chefs who prepared and executed the Chicken Tortilla Soup and the QuesaBirria tacos, please give them a raise. The food was so undeniably palatable, my taste buds were going through the roof. Every bite was pleasantly satisfying. The mimosa also complemented the entire meal well. The entire atmosphere had such a cozy, rustic feel. The service was slightly underwhelming. Though it was kind, the attentiveness missed the mark. The price point of the food was fairly reasonable. Overall, the dining experience was lovely because the food was dynamite. The service needs some improvement; however, I'd absolutely return.

I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.

Quaint, charming and with top quality product this is well worth a stop. Of course prices are on the high side, but the value is certainly there. There's an array of awesome looking baked goods/pastries, including large loaves of round bread choices for sale. They have a number of other food choices too- sandwiches, salads, etc. Other products including cookbooks by Charlie Palmer are also sold. The room is large, comfortable and the ambiance is rustic country. I got two Butter Croissants and two Jalapeño Cheddar Scones for me and the husband. Both were excellent, delicious, and quite large. The jalapeño is strong so be certain you like it as it is my particular preference. The service was very helpful and efficient. This place is very professional in every regard and well worth a stop.

I was very surprised to see that this place has such a low star rating. I went in without looking…read morethem up, so I was unbiased. It's a cute little shop reminiscent of San Fran, a good amount of seating inside and out with of course plenty of parking. There were three people working- teens to young adults. In all honesty, they were just pretty awkward. Nothing rude, just a little weird. Customer service could definitely be better, coming from someone who works customer service myself. In small town Lodi, a smile goes a long way. The girl who took our order was nice enough, found us a menu from the back so we could have a more in-depth view of what we might want. My mom got her sandwich after just a few minutes, and they brought it out to us since we at inside, which was very nice! It took my friend and I probably close to 10 minutes for our two hot sandwiches, and they were brought to us also. They called what was apparently our number first, but we didn't know, as we had the option to opt for no receipt, but we just told them what we had and it was cool. I recently went to Fiori's Butcher Shoppe and had a very disappointing sandwich experience, so I was really hoping this place could mend my broken heart, and man. It did that and more. The sourdough was SO good and my sandwich was bomb. The house sauce was flavorful. It was hot, the sourdough roll was soft. No complaints aside from, I wish I had more of it. Now, it was a bit of a red flag to me that for a Saturday at lunch time there was nobody inside, but as we were eating they did get a pretty steady stream of people. Some were waiting a bit, but they did apologize for the wait and nobody was being ignored or treated unkindly. I can see why people complain about these things though, it just wasn't my experience today. My advice to the owner, get some employee-chosen music going in there. Get a doorbell chime that plays in the back. Fix the out of order bathroom. Make it a fun place to work that encourages growth and feels comfortable for the team to build relationships with one another; make sure there's a manager or shift lead always on the clock to guide the people who aren't sure of what they're doing. If the team is happy, they'll bring that happiness to their customers, and we will feel that. Right now, they seem just a little quiet, lost, and disengaged. It was a little bit awkward. I can't say whether this place is going to last, given the reviews and the short amount of time they've been there, but I hope the owner can get the shop in shape and work past this. It was really a bomb ass sandwich.

It's located at a truck stop, so obviously it will be a bit more comprehensive than your regular c-store. They have everything here from showers and bathrooms to hot grub options as well as souvenirs and drinks galore. Heck if your kid lost their stuffed animal or a favorite toy, they have some that will allow the child to be placated here. The hot food looks like a supermarket ready to eat menu. They have pizza, fried chicken, potato wedges, soup, and a few cold items in addition to the standard hot dogs and burgers that are small and thin. The prices are decent. The service is blue collar friendly. So don't expect to be fawned over but expect to be treated fairly. In the end, I like this place.

Stopped for lunch and ordered two sandwiches - nothin' fancy. Took over 20 mins. for the food to arrive. This was at around 1:30 pm, the lunch rush was over and the place was not busy at all. When the food finally did arrive the bread on one of the sandwiches was suppose to be toasted, but it was actually burnt. How hard is it to make toast, for crying out loud! The silverware was visibly dirty, smeared with some greenish slime. Don't even want to think about what that was. French fries tasted like the fish sticks that must have occupied the fryer in the previous batch. Needless to say - do your stomach a favor and pass on this place - go to Taco Bell instead.
