We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Make it a fun place to work that encourages growth and feels comfortable for the team to build relationships with one another; make sure there's a manager or shift lead always on the clock to guide the people who aren't sure of what they're doing. If the team is happy, they'll bring that happiness to their customers, and we will feel that. Right now, they seem just a little quiet, lost, and disengaged. It was a little bit awkward.
