Really good service form this young lady able to help us out with our order and very patient

This is the second time my order is made wrong and second time the bread is stale. Poor quality and poor portions ever since they changed management or workers. Not sure what is going on but it is not the same as it used to be. The people that I have encountered are not welcoming like the prior staff members and seems like they don't care about the quality of their food. It seemed as if was eating bread with mustard and an occasional slice of pickle. This store has gone down in customer service, quality and value. It's not as lively as it once was. Upon entry there was no greeting. Three people crammed behind the counter. Everyone seemed confused and scrambling trying to keep up with the orders of the incoming customers and UBER EATS or whatever food delivery service subway is connected to. The sandwich preparation area was very messy and not clean. I almost walked out but my friend was hungry so I had to stay. Did not get my food how I ordered it. The soda machine had water downed drinks and this just ruined my day.

People can say what they want, but let me just say that Subway never disappoints. The bread choices, the meat choices. The condiments, the sides all are great. I've been wanting to try Jimmy John's and Jersey, Mike's and big Sals. I can check Jimmy John's off the list and as for now I will truly be sticking with Subway and this particular location is the best because the staff is always friendly whether it's 3 PM, 3 AM or 6 AM. I used to want to watch my sandwich get made but I can give detailed instructions in app and they follow. read more

Subway. Eat fresh. Cheap fresh that is. Wow haven't been to Subway since I was a kiddo. This place is still gunning it real hard to stay relevant and they still are! This particular Subway was packed!!! The parking lot was ruff to deal with, as Dominos is there and KFC battling it out for the fast food plaza. Walking into this spot you smell their fresh baked bread mmmm. Ordered 3 foot long subs for $23. I like how they can be generous with the toppings, especially their olives. Salty black olives are always good. I've said before that I don't eat meat, so what I love about Subway is that they have a veggie patty option. It's a pretty good patty too. A whole patty for every 6 incher. I don't eat subs a lot bc that leaves me limited to eating tuna all the time or just a plain veggie sub and that's just no fun and I think I make better tuna salad anyway. The workers refused to provide service because I didn't have a "mask" with me. I said give me one since that's an issue. "We don't have any" to give says the workers. So you're just going to refuse me service?, I say. Yeah I can't assist because what the sign on the window says the worker. I'm highly selective when it comes to Subways located throughout LA as some are nestled in sketchy areas leading me to believe the Subway could be questionable. This particular Subway is nestled a hop skip and jump away from USC's campus, which is why I selected it. I went in with low expectations, because in the past I've viewed Subway as a bronze medal winner vs Jersey Mikes or Jimmy John's. To my surprise-- my sandwich exceeded expectations-- even ousting Jersey Mike's (gold). What elevates their sandwiches is the new "series" menu--Subway's attempt to provide the same quality as places like Jersey Mike's. Deli meat is sliced fresh on site-- with double the meat and cheese, so it's like a Subway sandwich makeover. What's more, the restaurant itself is extremely clean with professional staff eager to help with a smile. Great experience all in all! I'm telling you-- While Jersey Mike's is still delicious, Subway's new "series" menu will give them a run for their money-- while saving you about $3-4 per footlong. I am biased because I LOVE Subway haha ...BUT-- if you too are a Subway fan and want to know if this one is a clean and efficient one, then the answer is yes. I've been to over 10 different locations and I felt this one was the most modern. Although the surrounding area is a bit rough definitely recommend stopping by this one. There is a free parking lot and seems to have more than enough workers to always get through a long line very fast. The only reason I give it four stars is because of the location. It is in not the best area and so there are a lot of homeless people wandering in and out of the subway. I think the employee's name was Illa (I hope I spelled her name right) that gave me my order. I went to get my order, and as I was driving off checking my order it was completely wrong. I returned to the store, and explained to her that this wasn't what I ordered and she said that I needed my receipt to get my money back. The night crew sucks. Very rude and nonchalant towards customers. Did not make me feel welcomed and didn't even say a word to me when I walked in, they basically made eye contact when they were ready and asked what I wanted. I think that this subway is the best in the Downtown area since all the staff is extremely friendly. Some of my favorites that work there are Sam, Nadira, Jenna and Juanita. I LOVE THIS SUBWAY. I've gone here for the past couple days and I can't stop going. They have dressing I've never seen anywhere else before. The saracha spread?! Amazing! The service is quality and friendly. I really enjoy coming here get treated so nicely and paying fast in easy all within under 5 minutes. Can't get enough of this place. My ex swears that the Subway a few blocks over by the University Village Plaza is cheaper, but frankly the only significant difference I've noticed between the two is that this one is slightly smaller, and a bit harder to get parking for. My sandwich of choice is a roast beef and provolone on toasted honey oat, with the works minus the onions, mustard, salt and pepper, banana peppers, and avocado. Weird, but I like it. I used to love Subway a lot more when these two branches had monterey cheddar bread and cilantro available, but they phased both of those options out last year and spinach doesn't quite fill the void. So Subway is dead to me now... except for those all-nighters where you realize you haven't eaten in almost a day and screw the price hike because you're hungry and nothing else is open at 4:30 am. read more

EAT FRESH!! yeah! This is my local subway- although there is one closer to my house, I like hitting this one up because of the USC discounts. Subway always sounds good to me! Anything with tuna, or just plain veggies! I always get: the 6" Italian herb and cheese bread, spinach, lots of onions, some green peppers, olives, cilantro, tomato, provolone cheese, usually tuna, salt, pepper, mustard, oil and vinegar... and avocado when I can afford it! mmmmmmmmmmmm....good! Love my USC student discount and I love it when they have great deals like any foot long sandwich for $5!!! Also, they have these awesome computer stands at this location where you can place your order instead of having to wait in the line. This comes in useful here considering that depending on the time of day or night you come, it may just be super full with hungry college students on a study break. OH yeah... and its open 24 hours! They will hustle you through the line and the cashier will pickpocket the right amount if you're not ready. (Okay, no pickpocket, but the cashier doesn't waste any time.) I always love to get a roast beef and swiss sandwhich on a foot-long loaf of Italian bread! Now, I love going to this location because it is open 24 HOURS! I love Subway already, and now, whenever I am hungry, I don't have to go to an unhealthy fast food restaurant. I have gone to this Subway plenty of times after midnight while finishing homework and have not regretted it once.
