The Habit Burger is one of my dad's and my favorite burger places. It's also very close to our home, so it's within walking distance, which makes it very convenient for us. I absolutely love their Char Burger because it's so delicious. My dad loves it too. My dad suffered a stroke in mid-December of last year and was hospitalized for three weeks. After he was discharged, he has continued to need a lot of care and support from our family. These days, in particular, I've noticed quite a lot of decline in his cognitive abilities, and it makes me very sad. For example, sometimes he takes the house key with him and then says that the car won't open, even though he has the house key with him. Sometimes he brushes his teeth and then forgets that he already did it, so he brushes them again. He also forgets to flush the toilet so many times. Actually, everyday. Every time. There are many other little things like this. What makes me especially sad is that my dad used to be such a handsome, smart, and active man. When he was young, he was very intelligent and received scholarships all four years while attending college. He was also very active and full of energy when he was younger. So it's hard for me to see him getting older and becoming this way now. Before my dad had his stroke, he especially liked the bread at The Habit Burger. Even now, whenever I bring him a Habit Burger, he still seems to remember it and really enjoys it. So every once in a while, I buy one for him. That day, too, he ate it happily and told me it was delicious, and that made me very happy. Both times that day, I placed my order at the kiosk, and I was happy that my burger was ready in just 10 minutes.
