Service at this location is generally decent, but today it was lackluster. The guy seemed like he could care less if I ordered anything. He didn't even offer to customize my sandwich, which is a hallmark of Subway restaurants. I tried the new sliders. They were a waste of money. I tried the philly cheesesteak and italian spice. While the italian spice tasted better, that's not saying much as they both lacked flavor. The bread was also hard and chewy. So, avoid the sliders and stick with the chocolate chip cookies. After a quick workout, my fiancée and I popped in for a quick tuna wrap. You could feel the negative energy from the Indian guy making sandwiches. He ignored two questions we had about our sandwich, and proceeded to make it without even confirming what we wanted. Also, the whole time he had a smug look on his face like he didn't want our business. Fed up with his attitude, and refusing to spend any money in his establishment, we just left and told him he didn't have to finish it. Very cheeky with serving, give little meat and veggies. Slow because on the regular they only have two employees. This family has been here for years and refuses to hire others so I blame them when people are waiting 10+ for a sandwich. Yesterday a lady came in and her baby was crying and the employee complained. I've given this location two chances prior to this last one. But three strikes are out! The service and the attitude of the people who make your sandwiches is obscenely poor. I ordered three tuna sandwiches and the amount of tuna they put on all three sandwiches could have gone on one sandwich that I've gotten at other locations. When I'm paying $8 for a sandwich it shouldn't be more bread than anything. I asked for spinach on a footlong and they put four leaves on it. They shouldn't have operation if they scared to use the ingredients. I think this is a horrible and irresponsible example of the Subway brand. This subway is the closest to me from my school. I stopped going here because there is a male employee who is is SO rude. There are only a few people that work there so you may know who I'm referring to. He always acts like its a pain if I have a coupon or don't want to make my meal a combo. On one occasion he literally walked away from me while I was trying to bring up a coupon and I just left. And you can forget it if he's making your sandwich. He skimps on everything. He shakes the meat off the scooper until there's only a little left. I was a loyal customer there. The Indian women is so sweet and always makes conversation with me, but he's the complete opposite. I ordered a tuna salad. I look at my receipt and it say steak salad. I know the pricing was wrong, but they try to tell me it's the same clearly steak cost more. I must say the place is clean, but I won't be back most of these franchise subways feel they can treat you any kind of way because they are the owners. This is the closest subway to me and to be honest, I get the best service here! They are always happy to see you and happy to serve. They are good at recognizing faces and there is usually always a deal happening. You can expect lines to always have roughly five customers ahead of you but the service is quick and easy. This is the worst Subway franchise I've ever been to. The boss and employees were all considerably rude and offensive. If you're looking for a hearty sandwich, look elsewhere for they will deliver a mostly empty meal. The following is no exaggeration of the quantity they delivered for a footlong: seven leaves of spinach, 4 small pieces of onion, 4 pieces of bell pepper, 8 slices of olive (totalling about two olives or less). When asked to increase the portions, the boss Aasha would add a piece of said vegetable and then immediately argue about quantity. I know you are trying to look for a subway because you are on vacation and the food in new orleans is disgustingly greasy and there are no healthy food options anywhere, but stay away from this subway. The lettuce was brown, the tomatoes, cucumbers, onions were frost burned and the refrigeration of the meat and cheese looked questionable. read more

This is everything I expected from a Subway. The people here are always nice, the service is fast, and I have always had a good experience at this Subway. Unlike the Subway in Slidell on Gause Blvd by Starbucks... there is a lady there that, when she makes your sammich, her breasts touch your food every time she reaches for an ingredient. She usually sits on the curb of the gas station smoking and sweating, and when she comes inside to make your food, she has crumbs on her shirt from I literally have no idea what it could be. I find myself writing this review as I was totally disgusted today with my service at a Subway that I frequent quite often. I ordered what I thought was the Turkey Italiano, which I asked if it was good and was told "yes". I get my toppings and mentioned to the guy that rung me up, said that I ordered the regular Turkey sandwich. Now mind you, the Turkey Italiano is the $6.00 footlong and as a meal 2 cookies and a drink totaled should have totaled around $9.32 approximately. Well I was charged $11.27. Well it should have been $2.00 less, but debating with the guy that rung me up (I believe he is the manager) I got upset saying that I guess I can't read! I paid for my meal and got my drink and sat done to dine in. The Sweet Ice Tea was a bit weak on my (second round) so I poured it out and got a Coke. Why does the other male worker mention that there should be only four refills. I proceeded to tell him that I was already mad about my sandwich and you are now disturbing me about a refill!!!! I was like I only had 1 1/2 refills as the tea was weak and I was already angry about my sandwich. He mumbles about the refills and in the background, the lady that started my order started chirping about what I ordered was the Turkey sandwich. First of all, I should have been asked if I wanted the special in the first place; second, they should have remade my sandwich as there was a mix up or I could have not purchased it and third, in all my life, I have never been cautioned about a refill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was angry about that more then the $2.00 extra charge for the meal. No offering to remake my sandwich and I couldn't believe this guy was disturbing me about a refill. The drinks are not behind the counter so why are you regulating a customer. A regular customer at that! McDonald's won't tell you anything if you sit all day and drink up every drink that they have! Burger King won't clown you either about a drink! It was ridiculous and they will not get my service ever again. I drive past a Subway within the University of New Orleans School Union right across the street from my job and this is how I am treated...Never Again! No more rudeness from the Soda guy either when he is on the line! I used to give them a break! Not any more! I will eat at the other Subways that don't mind if I get a refill!
