    Molto Toast
    Alison N.

This little cafe was absolutely delicious for breakfast! You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. I enjoyed the Molto Avocado toast and my partner enjoyed a breakfast burrito. Both were fantastic! Their sweet potatoes were also amazing! Diced, roasted, and well seasoned. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area!

The food is very fresh and healthy great ambiance and the service was excellent. I had ice unsweetened tea and the bird man jr. This has roasted chicken, purple slaw, with MJ sauce which is a spicy aioli sauce with pickles and Swiss. This sandwich had good bite and tasted fresh and healthy with a good spicy and sweet acidic balance. I expected more punch from the flavors, but overall for most this would be a good choice. I have had the Larry bird and had more punch probably the avocado. I will be back to try other sandwiches and bowls. The homemade chips were about 50% crispy versus soggy or stale. But when you make the effort I I give kudos for healthier option without preservatives. I recommend the Good Bird. Hopefully I get more consistent chips next time and bring experience to full 5 stars. Great place to get lunch they also have breakfast available. See menu pictures.

This place is legit delicious! Finally some good healthy rotisserie chicken that tastes absolutely delicious. Not dry and gross like most rotisserie chickens sitting out for a long time. Upon entering the cafe is laid back and quite clean. I like my cafes clean as it speaks to the general hygiene of the place. I did notice this lovely lady cleaning and removing dishes non-stop. She was very diligent and even came to take my plates away even though they have a drop zone for cutlery, plates, etc. she didn't need too, but she did. So 5 / 5 for her alone. Now the food.... You order by the counter and they bring the food to your table. I ordered the south west salad ( no bacon) and my hubby had the good bird. The food came out pretty quickly and it looked great. The salad was absolutely delicious - fresh and just tasty! I tasted the good Bird sandwich and oh boy was that delicious. The bread was so light and fresh and the ratios were just spot on. If you haven't tried it - go try it!! Parking is off street and pretty easy to find.

Buddha Bowl with roasted chicken... chef's kiss all the way!

The Buddha Bowl is a BLAST of flavor and color and nutritional enrichment! I highly recommend everyone try this dish when in New Orleans. Everyone goes to visit and totally overindulge- so when it's time to head back to the airport, stop by Good Bird and get your life back together! LOL. You won't regret it .. food so good it seems wrong!

The best Caesar dressing I've had in New Orleans! The wrap is a perfect option for a light lunch. And the potato chips were so delicious and very crunchy!

I enjoyed the Good Bird near Tulane. The location is convenient, it has a good amount of seating and some great food options. I ordered the Greek salad made gluten free with chicken on top. It was ready pretty fast and had a good amount of chicken in it. The staff were friendly:)

There is amazing natural lighting in the restaurant, which lends to the laid-back feel of the place. The customer service could improve a bit. It wasn't rude, but it wasn't overly warm either. Their engagement level with customers was about a four out of ten. I didn't see the Cobb salad that I ordered last time on the menu. It appeared that the menu had new salad choices. I opted for the Eagle Street salad this time. I was not impressed. The salad itself was pretty tasty, although it could have used a tad more salad dressing. What made the salad fail for me was the very bland rotisserie chicken. OMG, not only did it look undercooked, but where was the seasoning? If the chicken was cooked more to a golden brown and was seasoned, it would've been great. The chipotle avo toast was delicious. I absolutely loved it. The chipotle avo drizzle didn't add spice at all. It just gave it a more awesome taste.

I had such a nice lunch today at Good Bird. I ordered the Sue Bird salad, and added chicken. The salad was delicious, and I could tell the ingredients used were of excellent quality. The sweet potatoes were perfectly cooked - tender and sweet, the goat cheese was rich and tangy, and the chicken was fork tender. The space is bright, cheery, and you can speak in normal tones. Really sweet spot.

    super fresh; super huge

I came here for lunch one day. The place is really tiny and filled with lots of college students. The walk-up counter is great if you just want to order your food and leave; I decided to dine in. It is off street parking. Everything here was clean including the bathrooms. The staff were fine as well. I ordered the Sue Bird, this one had goat cheese and sweet potato chunks in it. I had never had a salad with sweet potatoes in it and I was very intrigued. I took my first bite and I first thought was how fresh it was, but then I started understanding the flavors and noticed how different it was. I wasn't sure that I liked it yet. I took more bites with the mix of the dressing and the goat cheese flavors and I liked it more and more. The bowl was a huge helping, you don't just get a side salad here, this a humungous entree salad here. In fact, I should have just eaten half, because towards the end, I started thinking I didn't like the sweet potato chunks as much and began to leave some of the chunks while I enjoyed the other parts of the salad. I really like the uniqueness of the salads here and I love the portion sizes. I only wish there were more salad options here. I will be back though.

First time at Good Birds. Was in the mood for a salad and came across this place. The salad was absolutely amazing. Only took about 3 mins to get my order. Staff was friendly and environment was clean and welcoming. Would give 5 stars but would like to try more menu items first.

I came back to try one of their shocks sandwiches because I'm a huge fan of their veggie sandwiches. I would definitely recommend getting the sandwich in wrap form since it's lighter and you can taste more of the flavor. Quite ironically I enjoyed everything on the sandwich besides the chicken. The cuts are way too thick and chunky, and dry. I ended up taking most of the meat out

Food was amazing with fresh ingredients . Simple menu, easy to order. Inside of the restaurant was cozy, clean but not too big. You order food at front counter and they bring your food to you. Workers were nice and friendly . It's amazing how they maneuver in their small kitchen. We Ordered the Greek salad and chicken sandwich, both were excellent. Salad was big enough for two people to split . Our daughter even enjoyed the sweet potatoes cubes. Will definitely be back

The executive chef is definitely cooking very very well!!! We loved the Blue Crab Ragoon App as well as the Crab Cakes. There was nothing left on the plates. For entrées we had Banana Foster Pain Perdu, Side of Duck Bacon, Hashbrown, 100% Seafood Gumbo and Fried Catfish. Everything was seasoned to perfection and hot!!! Last but definitely not least are the Cocktails which were very good. Try the Cold Brew Martini if you like iced coffee type drinks and also try the Strawberry Lemon drop for a sweet treat. Both taste great and have a nice amount of spirits in them. This is a must try in NOLA. Will definitely return!!

We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices!
