It is a small unpretentious place right on Main Street in Nikes, Michigan where we are staying. Our server told us that baby back ribs had just come out of the smoker, so we each ordered a half rack with sides. These ribs were absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a simple place with terrific food, this is the place to try. By the way, Jim's hot sauce was absolutely delicious and added depth to the ribs. Really, really good!

No BBQ sauce was brushed on or offered--which is surprising for a BBQ joint. The beans tasted canned, and the corn coleslaw, while creative in concept, just didn't work in execution. No pickles, no bread, no condiments--nothing to round out the plate. I get that this is a small town, but when you're the only BBQ spot around, there's a real opportunity to stand out. Sadly, this place missed the mark. I don't like leaving below-average reviews, but in this case, I had to be honest.
