Only been here once, but definitely plan to come back and try other sandwiches to offer a more complete review. I got the Italian Beef with onions, green peppers and mozzarella and a cup of the soup of the day (tomato bisque). The beef was good, not great (feel like the beefs in Chicago have spoiled me). Nothing wrong with it, but it just wasn't as good as Portillo's or Al's. It came with a side of jus, but I prefer mine dipped when made ‍ The soup was good as well. Stop by with my sister in this small town which I grew up near. It's changed a lot. This sub shop is a asset to this area. The bread was soft and delicious and the meat was top quality. They had a lot of different things to choose from. I had the 6 inch turkey on white bread with pepper jack cheese. I got lettuce, tomato onion, sweet peppers with some mayonnaise and sub boil. Ordered 6 inch turkey sub the amount of veggies on it was pathetic 2 little tomato slices, one pickle slice, one cucumber slice cut in half, that bugged me the most also didn't put any lettuce on when I told them and 2 thinly slices of green pepper turkey was slimy, the bread was pretty good. This is disappointing that Subway would put more veggies on than this place can Cuban subs were really good. Would go again for the Cuban subs but not the Turkey sub. read more

The past few times I've been in, I've had a fantastic experience. I've had their other subs before but this review is a shoutout to their seafood and crab sub. They used just enough dressing so that it wasn't overwhelming and the meat in the seafood salad is very generous. The bread is soft and tastes fresh. We just had to come back in for another! All in all, positive experience. The food was decent and fairly priced. It was a short wait for the food to be made so I imagine that it'd be a great to-go place. They seemed to have a nice amount of choice to what you can get. From Pesto paninis to flatbread pizzas. I liked the Rueben panini. Also, I didn't feel cheated (portions wise). I would come back if I drive through Michigan again. Staff was pleasant too. Downside though is the awkward lack of tables and chairs. Not really a good place for groups especially if you're trying to be social. Even two tables with chairs around it would suffice. Not to drone too long about seating... it's a good Sub shop. First, I'm shocked this place has decent reviews. I'm practically convinced we arent reviewing the same business. I cant think of a single reason to give this place 2 stars. I have gone here numerous times simply because it is close to home. At first, I used to get the Pulled Pork Sub until they took it off the menu and replaced it with a pulled pork panini. I asked if they could take the pulled pork and put it on a sub for me instead of a panini and was instantly told no with no explanation. The lady who works the counter everyday, I'm assuming manager or owner, is unmotivated, unfriendly, and simply should not be in customer service. I would fire her immediately. Besides the poor customer service, the food is best described as high school lunch food. The bread is literally the cheapest bread you can buy. The servings are small compared to this companies biggest competitor which has 2 locations 5 miles away. I try to support local businesses that don't cater to tourists. Unfortunately this is one I can not support. Do yourself a favor and get subs elsewhere. read more

Was going thru town and decided to stop for lunch. The plaza it is in had a few cute shops. The outside was clean and well kept. The staff greeted us and was knowledgeable of the menu. We chose the Ruben and tereyaki chicken. Both had a very generous amount of meat with a nice flavor. We sat outside on picnic tables which were clean. Staff said have a good day etc on our way out. I would not recommend this place to anyone! I asked if they carried gluten free bread and instantly received an eye roll from one of the employees. I asked if they could just put the sandwich meat on a plate and the employees response was "this is just a sandwich shop". I recently came into this establishment and was expecting to get a great sandwich being it was a small town and they looked like they needed customers. Well, that certainly wasn't the case. They slapped 2 pieces of bread together used inferior meat product and left off 3 of the 5 things I asked for.. I got a dry sandwich - that I wouldn't even feed my dog. There is obviously a reason they had no customers. They charged me $10. I drove all the way home to find this out. I decided to call and let them know. They said they made it correctly and hung up on me 3 times. I thought customer service is key or should be.. def not at this place. The guy employee (not manager - she wasn't nice either) also cussed at me and called me a bitch. Never offered to remake the sandwich or anything. Stay away from this place! Incredibly horrible experience!! We came into the empty sub shop with our children. The sandwiches were mediocre at best. What really made this experience horrible was the way we were treated by the staff. My 1 year son who was behaving appropriately was leaning against one of the stools (which obviously bothered the staff). One of the staff members was extremely rude to us and I was shocked by her comments to us. When I left I confronted them to let them know who it was not ok to talk to us in that manner. The male employee said that he was the one that told her to say something to us. Truly shameful behavior. Clearly not a place you would want to take your family. Please spend your money in other restaurants that value customer service and basically know how to treat people with basic courtesy and respect.
