I completely understand that delays can happen, but several customers who ordered after my family and I received their food before us. A large order for a family of eight was even called ahead of ours, despite being placing their order after us. When I asked again when I could expect our food, I was told it was being worked on. However, this is an open kitchen, and there were no burgers on the grill at the time. Since I needed to return to work, I requested a refund. I was asked to leave my receipt on the counter and told it would be handled later. I asked that the refund be processed immediately, and it was eventually completed. This was especially disappointing because it was my second visit. I experienced a small issue during my first visit, and unfortunately, this experience was worse. As someone in the food industry, I was surprised there was no apology for the inconvenience. I hope ownership takes this as an opportunity to improve communication and customer service training for staff.
