I love how they're lightly breaded, but you can still taste how well cooked the chicken is. Additionally, there's an assortment of sauces to choose from. We also got the dirty sodas, and we love how much customization there is; there's also a soda fountain to top of any more soda or drinks you want. Lastly, we got the Nashville wrap, and it was pretty tasty but small for the price. The service was top notch since you get to order at the kiosk or cashier; additionally, they serve you free ice cream at the end. I also went to the bathroom, and the crew member was cleaning it and was very kind and apologetic for making me wait only a minute. The ambiance was very bright and welcoming. Never been here. Never heard of it. But hey I'll try it. Got the 3 wrap combo. You can try different chicken sandwiches, comes with fries and a drink. And also a free soft serve ice cream cone. Vanilla, Chocolate, or Swirl (always my choice). A lot to review here. The wraps are basically tenders on a tortilla. Good tenders on good tortillas i might add. I tried three different types. I tried the Minnie, Nashville Hot, and the Southern Charm. All the 3 were good. But honestly I think the Minnie was my favorite. The fries were decent but they don't give you a lot. They also have a drink list that's a mile long. You order at a kiosk. That's good and bad. I needed like 5 min to decide what to drink frfr. I ended up getting the Mango River refresher. It was OK. If you like coconut you might like this taste. Not overwhelming , but more than a hint. You can definitely taste the coconut. Finally the soft serve ice cream is "free" with a combo. First of all, the tenders are lightly breaded. You can actually tase the chicken. You feel like you're eating real chicken, not a blob of breading. That technically makes them lower carb Also, having no spice level allows you to actually taste the chicken and it was very good. The seasoning on the regular tender is very good. A new location in Oakbrook. My first hearing about Minnie Bird's Chicken Franchise. I stopped in after my retail therapy for a bite to eat. This place was packed with people. You had to place your order on the screen monitor. I don't like how so many places especially restaurant chains are making you place your order on a monitor. I missed those times where you interact with a real person and not a computer screen. FYI, its very nosey with lots of screaming kids and loud talking. I ordered the tender meal combo, 3 chicken tenders, crinkled fries, small container of cole slaw, Texas toast and fountain drink. There was one worker who was walking around making sure every table was cleaned. I liked how he was attentive and making sure the tables were cleaned and wiped down. Kudos to that your man. The customer service is the reason for the 3 star review. The workers were working hard getting out orders, polite and attentive. I wasn't impressed with the food. After a long morning of shopping and running errands in the west suburbs, the family wanted to visit @eatminniebird. It was our first time and we were a little overwhelmed by the drink / dirty soda options. We chose a few sprite based dirty sodas and ordered a mix of chicken tenders, chicken sandwhiches, fries and cheese curds. It was pretty busy still being closer to 2 on a weekend - but our food came out pretty fast. My kids were starving so unfortunately the camera didn't get to eat first when the food arrived. The kids loved their tenders and fries with the seasonal sauce: everything but the bagel. My husband and I both opted to make our sandwhiches spicy and paired with the sauces - they were delicious. The sandwhiches are on the larger end and I managed to eat 75% before passing it into hubby so I could save room for the soft serve. Speaking of the soft serve - the flavor of the month was salted caramel. I opted for a swirl with vanilla and everyone else had it straight salted caramel. We all liked it even though it was more on the icier side as opposed to creamy. The food came out maybe about five minutes after we ordered and the cherry on top to the visit was probably the free ice cream! All the sauces are fantastic and the Nashville Hot seasoning on the tenders reminded me of a Hattie B's hot in Nashville. The fries could use a butt more salt but they were also hot and fresh! We ordered from DoorDash and I think some kinks still need to be worked out. We asked for the birdie sauce on the side and got no sauce. We did answer the survey and they replied back with a $10 voucher.... Except I didn't realize the voucher had to be redeemed in person within an allotted timeframe, so when I clicked on it expecting to use it on another online order, I had 15 minutes to show it live to a cashier (which obviously wasn't going to happen) so there went that voucher. I also prefer my food delivery orders to be sealed with a sticker, which I think most restaurants do these days. The food was okay.
