This Subway does not take Subway coupons. i stopped eating here because of the higher prices than other Subways. I got a coupon in the mail for Subway and drove here to use it. The employee said "we do not take Subway coupons." I wasn't about to pay their higher than normal prices. This is a Subway that is not a Subway. I'd get it if this was located inside Disney World or on the moon, but it's across the street from a gas station and next to a high school. They are taking advantage of high schoolers. read more

Used to be good but now... I went into order lunch. Selected the steak and cheese. Got half of the usual meat (didn't even half fill the scoop) ten times the cheese(maybe that was for the melt-part), pitiful on condiments and totally out of cucumbers and tomatoes, then they stuck it a bag and heated it. When I got home all the insides (what little there was) was slumped to the bottom of the bag. Pushed it back onto the bread (which was sliced so poorly it came out like a wrap bread). My first bite had the step and uneatable stem and top of the pepperonchini. Never going back again, I'll drive the 7 miles to Jersey Mikes for a decent steak sub. Better start paying attention to what you're making or you'll lose a lot more customers read more

This is the third time I've struggled to have the little scanner thing scan for points on my app when I purchase a sandwich. And each time the "sandwich artist" just stared at me doesn't try to help or show me if I'm doing it wrong. So I walk out paying for a sandwich but don't get any points for it. This store is a complete ripoff. They overcharged my son. Over $20 for a 12" sandwich & drink. When my son argued for a correction the person behind the counter changed the price to $15 and threw​ apples into the bag that he did not order (he's allergic​ to them) and charged him for them and refused to take them off the order. When I saw that he had been taken advantage of I went into the store with the reciept and asked about it and the counter person denied it ever happened only to take money out of the tip jar and throw it at me. On another occasion we went in with the Boy Scouts to order sandwiches for a trip. It took liturally 45 minutes before they even got to us eventhough there was only about 5 people in front of us. Pathetic service. Mediocre sandwiches. Check your receipt. read more

When in a rush I have brought my children here but it is a standard of sandwich which does not satisfy my minimal standard for a sub sandwich. Add to that the fact that their sign says they are open until 10p, and the neon sign says "open", but apparently when the employee has somewhere to go they close as early as 8:50p. read more

They told me they were almost out and would be 10 min to get new ones, so i said i would wait. Next thing ik i walk back in to them thawing a frozen bucket of meatballs in the microwave. Oh my what a morning! For whatever reason, my daughter loves subway sandwiches. So, who am I to not be father of the year and give her what she wants every now and then, even if its against my better judgement and budget. So, Sunday morning was day 2 of a volleyball camp at Lewis & Clark so my daughter and her friend wanted subway sandwiches for lunch. No problem, we'll swoop by there before camp and set them up for lunch. Well, the camp started at 9am and the Terwilliger store doesn't open until 9am so we had to go to plan B. I'll drop them off at camp, run back to Terwilliger Subway which is only 4 minutes away, and go back and make the drop at camp. Well, I get back to Terwilliger Subway and 2 employees roll into the store around 8:58am which I thought was odd timing to get the fresh bread rolling and ready to go. Anyhow, I was surfing around the web for a few minutes and didn't walk up to the door until 9:05am. Its locked and the girls clearly see i'm standing there, so I give it a couple more minutes. Next time I look up there is no one in sight, i knock on the door, no answer so i call the store # at 9:17 and I think i get the owner and tell her the door is locked. By 9:20, i've had it so I go to plan C which is the Barbur Subway. Arrive there at 9:25 and that door is locked, (sign says open at 9am). I hear the music playing, smell the fresh bread, but nobody is in sight, must have been in the back room but there are two way mirrors so i hazard a guess they know i'm there. I give that all of 5 minutes(they are getting 1 star too) and decide to move on to the Capitol Hwy Subway. I arrive there to a gal who looks like just rolled out of bed and proceed to my order, make small talk and I'm good to go. Oh and subway says "eat fresh", but the top piece of cheddar cheese in the stack is dry and stale, lucky the sandwich artist noticed and tossed it out. Last thing she says to me "I closed last night and had to open today, i'm a wreck". Felt bad for her but obviously poor scheduling by the management. Its now 9:36am, and by the time i get back to Lewis & Clark its 9:45. So, thats 30 minutes of my life I won't be getting back thanks to Subway. In some ways I feel bad because I believe this is a bigger issue in America of finding good help and retaining it with minimum wages. Must be tough on the manager but if you say you are open at 9am, make it happen even if it HAS TO BE YOU THAT OPENS THE STORE! read more

It was a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was feeling snacky and craving a salad, so I put on my finest hoodie and jeans and headed to the Hillsdale Subway. This has to be the best subway around. Sure the food is pretty much the same at any subway you go to, so it's really the service that makes the difference. My sandwich artist Thomas was just the sweetest! He was patient while I was trying to decide what to get, and when I still couldn't make a decision he helped me figure my life out (yes, I am implying my life was a salad in that moment. I have also felt the same way about fries, so there's balance in my life). Anywho, it took me a bit to decide on my toppings and Thomas was so patient. He didn't even look at me weird when I asked if they had walnuts to add to the salad. Sadly they did not, but I guess walnuts can't be found everywhere, but I digress. Thomas must have put some magic in the chicken because it was the best I've had. Bacon is already magical, so no need to state the obvious. The veggies were nice and fresh and portioned perfectly. I used to love Subway, it has always been the fast go to place for a decent flavored quick meal. The last few experiences I have had lately in Subway have been shameful. At this location, when I went last there were no chips stocked, the floor was beyond filthy, the guy helping did not smile once and he was just throwing the stuff on the sandwich and he made a mess, half the stuff ended up falling out. I did not feel like my business was welcome nor will I be visiting this location in the future. read more

Skip this location! Have eaten here over the past year but no more. Dry bread, mediocre meat and veggie favors, but most of all lackluster service. This place needs an overhaul!
