The drive-thru was convenient to access, and then get back on the road. I got a McCrispy and 4pc nuggets. The food was more expensive than I wanted ($13) and didn't hit the spot. Staff was fine. By far this is the worst McDonald's in the country. The shake machine is often broken, the employees cannot manage refunds of online orders when a milk shake has been purchased online but the shake machine is broken, it is slow, inefficient, and the employees really have an attitude that they don't really want to be there. I have assumed that McDonald's increased prices to improve the ability to pay a living wage, but either I am wrong or they suffer from a long string of poor management/supervision. They are really slow and constantly screw up orders. We had to wait for 15 minutes for our order and I tried to quickly check everything but they assured me it was all there. Nope missed 20 chicken nuggets and there were zero sauces. I will never go back to this location. When I called them they said I could back to get the stuff they forgot (while my current food gets cold). I specifically said I needed a refund for what was missed. Avoid this McDonald's. Somewhere between waiting 20+ minutes in line with only 3 cars in front of me, the fact that only one lane was available because there was a man playing with a lighter in the other one, and the group of young adults standing by the pick up parking spots, spitting on cars and telling people to get out and fight them. I was not greeted in the drive-through - I tried to be patient but after three cars in the other order line passed me I finally had to ask "hello are you there?" to get someone's attention. I have worked drive-through and I know they know when a car is there. After ordering, they confirmed and said thank you like normal, and I pulled forward. As I was pulling away (and after a weirdly long pause) I heard them ask whether I wanted a receipt and something else I couldn't hear. They said thank you and the screen said pull forward, why would they keep talking to me? I'm hungry! Anyway, it was weird and awkward. My food was done quickly and my order was correct, so that was nice. Hot fries. Big stack of napkins. They did not ask about ketchup but maybe that isn't a thing anymore? When you buy a large order of french fries for $4.00, they should be the most amazing, fresh, hot, crispy tasting and full order of french fries on the planet earth. I have been disappointed by fast food before and have dismissed it, get on with life, right? These french fries from McDonalds #13589, at the corner of SW Barbur Blvd and Capital Hywy in SW Portland Oregon were the worst I've ever had (and the most I've ever paid). They were cold, stale, and the pouch they put them in was only about 2/3rds full... I almost tossed them and went on with my life but decided they need to know how bad they are doing. I drove back to their location and went inside to return them. Ironically, the person in line ahead of me was also returning his order for the same reason... I did get my refund on the fries but was offered nothing for my having to make a 2nd trip to get satisfaction from them. The manager did apologise but was mostly dismissive. A coupon for a future visit would have been a good customer service option but that wasn't offered... It was definitely my last visit to McDonalds... Lily is amazing! She took our order, walked it to our table and said "Thank You." She is a lady that takes pride in her job. If McDonald's would hire more people like her, this place and many like it, would go a long long way. We're traveling cross country, and stop in at McDonald's for budget and speed. I just sat through the drive through for 30 minutes (literally - not an exaggeration) - I finally get my food and get home. I take a couple bites and realize it tasted like metallic iron and when I looked closer in better light - ITS NOT EVEN COOKED. I'm sick to my stomach. This is probably the 5th and LAST issue I've had with this McDonald's and I just moved here in Feb. I've gone to this place many many times and I'd have to admit that the service is awful most of the time. The employees are constantly changing and most of them lack customer service. There have been multiple times I've sat at the second window just to watch other cars get helped before me. After waiting that long I said "hello?" And was greeted with a "what do want". Best Drive Thru experience I have ever had. 2 Suasage Mcmuffin's with egg and a medium iced coffee with lots of cream and sugar! 9/16/19 around 10:15am Egg on the sandwiches was cooked less than usual, and was soft in the middle, DELICIOUS. ***Cheat Day*** The one day out of 3 weeks I can eat fast food would be the fries with no salt. Why no salt? Because they are made fresh to order. Out of most fast food chains they have the best cut fries. Also depending on the location you can make a cheap and healthier version of the Big Mac for a buck! How? well you can order a Mcdouble add lettuce and Mac sauce making a cheaper version of the BM depending on location they will probably charge .30 cents for Mac the sauce. Still cheaper. Also less calories because one less cheese and middle bread of the Big Mac. read more

Not sure when this McDonalds ran off the rails but it's gone from bad to worse. Used to be a place you could count on with fast & accurate service. Last month they forgot my large fries AFTER having me wait 10 minutes in the parking lot for chicken nuggets. The other day around 7p it took 18 minutes from ordering to receiving and only 3 cars in front of me AND they messed up a plain hamburger and wound up with pickle, mustard, ketchup when the receipt clearly stated plain. Also, and this isn't a joke people, when we pulled up to the pick up window the "dude" was so frazzled and in his attempt to confirm he had the right car for the next order stated " Yeah, you had the 2 McFlurries and, uh, a , a bunch of other crap?" Wow, I had to confirm with my 12 year old daughter and her friend that I heard it right and they busted out laughing. Oh well, hard to get good help these days...... read more
