The restaurant is located on the end in a strip mall - there is seating outside in the grass and also two tables in the front on the sidewalk under the awning. When you walk into the restaurant, the first thing you notice is it's old diner feel. There are booths alongside the wall to the left and there is the entire cooking station and grill to the right. You must walk to the back of the restaurant to get in line to place your order. I was incredibly shocked how busy this place was - I counted 23 people in line ahead of me and 40 something people inside the restaurant in total, not counting all of those who were sitting on the picnic tables outside. I could not believe how busy this place was especially for serving pretty much only burgers, dogs, and fries. Woah! As I waited in line, I could hear people talking about how much they love the burgers. But I was on a mission for a hotdog which is what I ended up ordering. This was without a doubt, the best hot dog with chili and slaw that I have had on the East Coast of North Carolina. While the burgers in Wilmington are OK, I would say that this place beats it all by far. It's probably the chili. My dogs were $4.50 each, fries $3. Everything on the menu is cheap and they only take cash. The good news is if you did not bring any cash there is ATM on site. I will never make the mistake of not stopping by here again next time I am driving from South Carolina to Wilmington.
