The fresh bagels are delicious as are the house made cream cheeses. They have a nice serve yourself coffee bar offering all Abita Roasting coffee in all varieties. Creole Bagelry and Cafe also offers a huge selection of bennys, omelettes, Belgian Waffles and breakfast sandwiches , lunch sandwiches, salads and lunch platters. I've had breakfast, lunch and supper. Today was lunch! After very very early flights into NOLA we needed something to eat. We arrived right after breakfast was up. It ends at 10:30. We got there at 10:35. Oh well. We both order the chicken salad on the sourdough bread. The sandwich was HUGE! We could've split it for sure. We each took half home. The chicken salad is tasty. The only thing the bread falls apart making it hard to eat. But the amount of chicken salad is really good. The sandwich came with chips which is pretty standard. The counters, floors and dining room was clean. Which is important to me. The food was ready in 15 +/- minutes. They was only 4 other people in there besides us so I wasn't expecting it to take long. You can't hear the way you need to because you have an AirPod in, not because people aren't speaking up. Ended up just ordering drinks separately at the self service kiosk because we didn't feel like dealing with her nasty attitude again, which she was giving out to everyone for free. All the other employees we encountered were very nice. Tables were for the most part clean but most still had some crumbs - again not a huge deal, rushes happen and something's get over looked. More than just friendly, the staff are always cheerful. The shop is a little small and the tables are close together so it can get crowded at peak times. Sometimes the music is loud, which makes a crowded restaurant that much worse. The restaurant is always clean and brightly lit.
