The New York steamer used to be my favorite sandwich. Recently went in bought one with extra corn beef.. I watched the girl naked and only put one extra piece of corn beef. I don't know the car park wire is taken over or we have a shortage of our beef that I'm not aware of when I asked the lady about it. I am a regular customer at this Firehouse Subs location and have always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with the current staff have been disappointing. On multiple visits close to closing time (around 8:00 PM, with posted closing at 9:00 PM), employees were rude, dismissive, and appeared unwilling to serve customers. While I understand that staff may be preparing to close, customers should still receive courteous service during all posted business hours. During one visit, while I was briefly speaking with someone, an employee repeatedly called my name three times within about 15 seconds to remove my to-go order from the counter. The interaction felt unnecessarily impatient and disrespectful. At the same time, another customer was still dining in the restaurant and there were approximately 15 minutes remaining before closing. On a separate visit, when we placed a to-go order, the employee seemed bothered by having to take the order and stated they were out of brisket. Whether or not the item was actually unavailable, the attitude and lack of customer service were noticeable. What concerns me most is that these were not isolated incidents. There appears to be a pattern of poor customer service during the last hour of business. Customers should not feel unwelcome simply because they choose to visit later in the evening while the restaurant is still open. I am sharing this feedback because I enjoy this location and would like to continue supporting it. However, the current staff could benefit from additional training in professionalism, friendliness, and customer service. Always made to perfection. The pickle spear is a perfect touch on the side and the jalapeño chips and sweet tea finish off a great meal. A few black olives, a tiny amount of tomatoes, a really small amount of cubed chicken, some even tinier cubes of something white & 2 small containers of a pretty vinegar-y dressing.
