I told my wife and 11 year old daughter today that this was going to be dinner, so text me what they wanted from Dave's Hot Chicken. The wife wanted the two slider (hot) meal with fries, no drink. The daughter wanted the 10 piece bites (mild) with fries and the Powerade slushy. I miss-ordered, this resulting in a large bill. First time error, but shame on me. I ordered 5 Ala Cart extra hot chicken fingers. The final bill was about $85.00!!!! I paid it, and was handed a receipt, and an electronic pager (yes, these still exist!). Seeing as everything is made to order unless you order online ahead of time, I expected a wait since I ordered in person. The Highland location wasn't too busy, so I got my food in about 12 minutes. I requested extra Dave's sauce, and they accommodated with about 6 extra packs at no charge. Just be aware, that sauce packets cost extra, so they did me a solid. Since I got 2 extra orders of fries, I punched a hole in the fry containers with a knife since it would take about 10 minutes to get home. I may have ate "some" of the fries while enroute. Fantastic.
