All lettuce hardly any turkey and a tiny punch of onions on stale bread. Behold the saddest of sandwiches

Im pretty sure a sandwich needs something more than bread .... Right ?? We ordered two sandwiches and the bread was stale on BOTH sandwiches not only that but there was maybe half of a slice of turkey and a teaspoon of onions. It truly was the saddest sandwich we have ever ever ordered. I would just avoid this location as this is definitely not our usual experience with other subways.

My favorites are the KILLER HOT and the SHARKY'S salsas. Their AVOCADO salsa is also very tasty. GO-TO FAVES include the Grilled Fish Taco on a corn tortilla. Seasoned and grilled to perfection on a regular basis. I get mine with no Pico de Gallo as I like to layer on some very hot salsa instead (KILLER HOT) and I get it without the cheese to keep it lower in fat and calories. NEVER disappoints. Their Nachos are a treat when I'm breaking my diet. :) Shrimp Tacos are really good as are the protein plates which can be customized and are a very healthy, well-prepared meal every time. You order at the counter -- and a nice touch is they ask if you want chips while you wait. Their water is also a nice touch -- it's got lemon, cucumber, etc. in the water which gives it a refreshing spa-like feel. They also have really good iced tea. You grab your own beverages and I highly recommend both the water (free!!) and the iced tea. The staff here is wonderful -- an active management team that works the floor, checks in on guests, and generally just makes everyone feel welcome, along with the hard-working kitchen team and the young team that takes the orders and puts together the take-away options. They are a smooth-running, very friendly and kind operation there. I love Sharky's. I grew up in this area and remember when it was Twain's. Ventured into Hi Ho at the height of Friday dinner time, when the whole Sportsmen's Lodge shopping…read more& dining nook was packed with people, including at least 75 kids under the age of 6. Yowza! Luckily, Hi Ho wasn't quite as busy as the pizza and ice cream shops, but there were still quite a few folks, and the staff did manage to tend to everyone nicely. If you haven't been, Hi Ho is a simple, fast food burger joint in terms of decor, but the menu (from the same people who own Matu) is a small, curated selection of very high quality options: mostly Wagyu burgers in a few different configurations, and chicken tenders + some very good, hand cut fries. This time I opted for the Pastrami Heat, a double cheeseburger fortified with spicy grilled onions and a not-too-large topper of Wagyu pastrami. I don't usually go for such an elaborate burger, but I just had a hankering. And while I won't say the burger was small, it was not as ridiculously enormous as you might get other places. The double patties were juicy and flavorful, nicely seasoned and coated in properly melted American cheese. The spicy grilled onions did pack a nice punch, but there weren't a lot of them, so their effect was minimal (definitely could use more of those). House-made pickles were pleasingly artisan, with a layered, briny flavor far more enjoyable than the commercial dill chips usually deployed. Finally, the Wagyu pastrami was really quite good. Marbled and juicy without be too fatty or too rich, thinly shaved and portioned just large enough to make its presence known without becoming unwelcome halfway through. Though decadent for sure, this was an enjoyable treat that was only about 50% guilt-inducing. Fries were fresh, hot, crispy and well done, cooked in beef tallow. Also a treat. Prices are in line with what you're paying at other fast casual burger places like Five Guys or Burger Lounge, but the quality here is definitely a step above, so you could almost say it's a deal. Of course, if you also stop into neighboring Erewhon for a smoothie, your budget will be blown.

It's juicy, flavorful, and somehow still simple and perfectly balanced without needing a bunch of unnecessary extras. What really says everything though is that it's kid approved. Kids can be some of the toughest food critics, and this burger passes the test every time. If a wagyu burger can impress both adults and kids, you know they're doing something right. Everything always tastes fresh and well made, and the consistency is great. It's the kind of place where you go in expecting a good burger and somehow it still manages to exceed expectations. If you're a burger lover and haven't tried HiHo yet, you're seriously missing out. Easily one of the best burger spots around.

I got a Double Cheeseburger with fries and drink and it was over $20. Way too expensive in my opinion. My burger was not awful but it wasn't amazing. I feel like it was just too messy and drowning in sauce/mayo, overpowering the taste of the meat, which wasn't cooked all the way. I like my burger patties cooked well done. Since it was drenched in sauce, the bread was getting soggy and falling apart as I ate it. The fries were also decent but not as crispy as I like. First off, found this place after influencer Violet Bass showed the gluten free breakfast sandwich she got here and it looked great. I like the vibes of the place. The issue is their staff didn't get multiple people's orders right. I can tell because someone else came to the counter to say they got something wrong and they got mine wrong (didn't do eggs runny or no tomatoes) The person taking orders multiple time had to turn to a coworker to translate to Spanish which was a bad sign. Honestly, order online so they get it right but that shouldn't be necessary as a walk in. The food was good but not as good as I hoped. The hash brown was a little too soft and not crisp. All the bacon on my sandwich slipped out to the bottom. It was a little overly salty. Didn't get the egg right. It was good with easy potential to be 5 star good but just was 3 star good sadly. I will come back in hopes they get it right but can see this place failing because if two people had their orders messed up while there, that is not a harbinger of success. If this place gets the food consistently right like I saw they did for the person they hired to promote on insta or how their food looks in the pictures, this place would be a gem. Get quality control down before you promote! $10 for a breakfast sandwich isn't crazy priced these days if you nail it. It isn't worth it if it's 3 star quality though. Hopefully they get it right because this place has potential and surprised it isn't more packed when I pulled up only to quickly get why.

We grabbed two breakfast sandwiches, one with bacon and one without, and both were standout in their own way. The first thing you notice? These sandwiches come out piping hot, wrapped tight and ready to go. Crack them open and you're hit with perfectly cooked eggs and an almost ridiculous amount of gooey, melted cheese. Not skimpy, not balanced, loaded in the best possible way. The Kaiser roll deserves its own shoutout: lightly toasted with just enough crunch on the outside while staying soft and pillowy inside. It holds everything together without getting soggy, even with all that cheese. * The meat version had crispy, flavorful bacon layered just right, salty, smoky, and not overdone. * The meatless one didn't feel like a compromise at all, still rich, filling, and honestly just as indulgent thanks to the cheese and eggs. No frills, no gimmicks, just classic deli breakfast sandwiches executed really well. Bottom line: If you want a hot, cheesy, perfectly toasted breakfast sandwich that actually hits the spot, Paulie's is a win. I can't wait to go back for lunch!
