This place has my absolute FAVORITE salad of all time! Highly highly recommend the Avocado & Quinoa Ensalada if you haven't tried it yet. I personally don't add a protein because the salad already packs in so much flavor, but I've tried it with Chicken before and it's great that way too. All the ingredients blend together extremely well, but the star of the show is the Chipotle Vinaigrette. Perfectly tangy with a bit of sweetness. As for this location, I've dined in and gotten delivery from it a bunch of times. The quality of the food is always consistent, and the workers at the restaurant are always really kind. The only downside to eating at the restaurant is that the parking lot can be extremely chaotic (right next to a Trader Joe's, IYKYK). Try to avoid going at peak grocery shopping hours. read more

We were pleased with the service; the staff was friendly and offered helpful suggestions without any wait, which was a nice surprise.I tried the chicken parm dip, which was visually appealing and had a surprising kick of spice that caught me off guard. It was my first time there and I didn't know what to order because I wanted to see visuals, since there were only descriptions of the items on the menu. The woman at the counter, Barbara, looked up photos for me and let me use her phone while she took someone else's order. I was split between two items and she helped me pick. But HUGE SURPRISE she putted the other item on the house to celebrate my first time. The service was impeccable and it made me feel really special. They take soooooo long. I ordered online and still had to wait 20 minutes for my food. The food is good but it makes me not want to go there. Everytime I go it takes over 30-40 min to get my food. Right when we got there, found out that the newly opened establishment went out of business after less than 5 months of opening. That's another story. There were 3 people serving us, but none of them really checked on us to see if we needed anything. They gave 3 napkins for the 2 of us, I mean come on! My son ordered their Vegan Banh Mi with extra Tofu on Ciabatta/ Panini bread, I got their hot Peruvian Steak sandwich on Potato Roll (toasted) add Avocado with Aj i Amarillo Sauce. Got 1 Dill Pickle Chips & no drinks. The food is very BLAND & EXPENSIVE!! Portions are mediocre. For 2 standard size sandwiches and chips $42.72. Place is beautiful, nice, big, LIT, CLEAN, including their bathroom. HUGE BATHROOM with inspirational messages all around. NICE! A nice size patio going all around the building with fire pit. Cute Furniture inside and outside. Very uncomfortable though. I get that it's designed like we are sitting at a FARM, but uncomfortable. It is shared with multiple businesses and is nicely located in the Trader Joes shopping center. AC was blasting on a semi cold weather. So we moved to the patio and it was much nicer. The food and service at this particular location is always top notch. My wife usually gets the "not so fried" chicken sandwich with a side of couscous. She loves it. The other day I tried the prosciutto with peaches and hot honey sandwich, and it was delicious. Sadly, they no longer have it on the menu. Everything on the menu is delicious so you can't go wrong with any item. Bonus points for a nice beer and wine selection as well. I've been to so many Mendocino branches all over LA and the food here tastes the best. "But the menu is the same! How can it taste "the best"? I don't know but I always get the same thing: 1/2 turkey avo salsa sandwich with kale & apple rainbow salad. The sandwich here always tastes fresher - sourdough has just the right amount of tang and is never stale, overall the sandwich just tastes cohesive. The salad is the biggest difference; this is the only branch whose dressing is just the right amount of sweet to balance the other ingredients. Other locations make their salad too sour and that's all you're tasting. Please go here and tell me I'm not crazy. read more

I stopped by today after a long hike and had been craving a delicious chicken sandwich I saw online. Even though it wasn't on the menu anymore, the manager Barbara was incredibly accommodating and allowed me to customize the ingredients exactly how I wanted. After a full day of hiking, it was the perfect treat. I ordered the sandwich with the sauce on the side, and it was absolutely worth it. Barbara and Marissa were both so welcoming and helpful the entire time. They had the sweetest, most genuine smiles and made the whole experience even better. While it is in the same lot as a Trader Joe's (You know the joke), it is such a clean and organized eatery. You really cannot go wrong with Mendo and their choices. I visit one of their many locations at least 2-3 per month. On my recent visit (3/4/2024), I tried a new item, which is part of their Mendo Test Kitchen exclusive menu. It is only available at 2 locations and Studio City is one them. It called the Chicken & Hummus Crunch Wrap. It features shaved, roasted chicken breast, hummus, pita chips, Kumato tomatoes, cucumber, jalapeno, pickled red onions, sprouts, romaine, baby spinach, tangy garlic spread, and mint labneh, all in a Mejorado flour tortilla! It was great and very filling. Truly hope they keep it. I usually get one of the 1/2 Sandwich combos or a salad. Try to very it up every so often. It is definitely a great spot for anyone who needs/wants choices. Staff is upbeat and friendly. Great for takeout, or they have a nice dining area both inside and outside. read more

I haven't been to a Mendocino Farms in about a year or so; normally it would be the one in West Hollywood (on Santa Monica Blvd. or the Fairfax/3rd location). I usually have my default cobb salad modified, and I'm good to go. However when viewing the menu this visit, I noticed that the cobb salad was now missing, which seems to be the case with all the sandwich places I used to like. Instead, I went with the 1/2 farm club sandwich and summer corn soup side. I had just purchased chips from Trader Joe's across the way so I didn't have to buy them here thankfully. This ended up being an enjoyable substitute! I chose to have the herb aioli on the side to avoid having too much of a messy sandwich, and the bacon was crispy just as I like. Service was good; I was simply picking up my mobile purchase and the guy found it right away (it wasn't up on the shelf that I'm used to finding my order). Glad I found another go-to at Mendocino Farms, and hopefully my next time here will be sooner than later. read more

Not so fried chicken 5/5 - this is always on point no matter which location. The crispies add a great crunch without being so fried and oily. I love the yellow sauce it has, a little tangy.
