I have been to TOGOS so many times in the past, but not in a very long time. Walked in yesterday around 5:30pm and wanted to order everything from their extensive overhead menu. I was VERY HUNGRY!! They really have everything from hot and cold sandwiches, salads, wraps, chips, fountain and bottled beverages. They have to go orders, pick up, 3rd party orders and also do catering for any event. Jessica with a pleasant smile, helped me pick out a sandwich and made it exactly the way I wanted. My sandwich was toasted, but not as crispy as I wanted for it to be. I chose their large sandwich on white Sourdough bread with turkey, Cheddar, lettuce, tomato, black olives, pickles, pepperoncinis, and bacon. (15.95), added a scoop of guac. for an additional $1.50 and made it a combo with French onion chips. For a drink, I got medium sized Sprite. Bacon was not as crispy as I asked for it to be. Overall a very nice dining experience. The place is shared with Baskin Robbins Ice Cream and to me it was kind of weird to have sweet & savory in the same place. Restaurant was clean along with their gender neutral restroom. Parking is shared with a lot of businesses and has few tables and chairs right in the front. Established in 1971 in San Jose. Yikes. Had a weird experience here. I placed an order for pick up and when I got there they said they had not received my order on their end. I pulled up my email receipt and showed it to the employee. They were adamant that because they didn't receive the order on their end, they couldn't make my sandwich. When the employee said, "maybe it was for the Burbank location?", I showed them the receipt again pointing out that it was indeed for Studio City. I was baffled by how much this particular employee refused to honor my receipt and make my order. It seemed like they were going out of their way to be difficult. They gave me a specific contact at corporate to call because they (the employee) said there was nothing they could do. The silver lining here is the contact at corporate, Sunny. Sunny was awesome. She was understanding, empathetic, and extremely helpful. It was a pleasure talking to her and she was able to reactivate my bday sandwich reward which is what I used to place the order. I think I'll stop coming to this location and make an effort to visit other ones. This was handled poorly by the initial employee. If you have any issues with them receiving online orders, I hope you get a chance to speak to Sunny because she's a joy. read more

Say what? What say? How can I not have reviewed this Togo's? How is that possible? Yet, apparently I haven't or it was so long ago that it disappeared somehow. Anyway, we used to have a Togo's downstairs from where the California Pizza Kitchen is in Studio City. I went there all the time until they sadly gave up the ghost. I always got the small pastrami and a small chicken salad sandwich and they were always great. After they closed that location, I began going to the one on Vineland, where once stood The Racquet Center. And the sandwiches were always good and I always got my two favorites. Then I moved to the Oaks of Sherman and hadn't been in years - first, because they did away with the chicken salad sandwich, which irritated me no end, and second because there weren't any delivery services at that point. Once the pandemic hit, I ordered via DoorDash my usual pastrami and it was still excellent and I've been ordering it ever since, very regularly. No, it's not Langer's or anything approaching deli pastrami - it's more like Johnny's but I like it better. Anyway, I'm glad I have rectified the situation and now I want my sandwich NOW. read more

Poor experience this time ! Store opened up 20 minutes late and the sandwich maker did not listen when I told her to make the 2 subs I ordered the same way. As a sandwich shop, this place rocks! They have a good variety of hot and cold sandwiches to choose from. I haven't tried them all...yet. The one's I have tried have been very good. Every time I've come here the people behind the counter have been friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Parking is available in front of the store and down below in the underground parking structure. And, just so you know, there's no ambiance. It's a sandwich counter sharing space with a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop, but you can't eat ambiance. Go to Togo's, get a sandwich, enjoy. read more

Forget The Hat or Johnnie's Pastrami, if you're craving a classic thinly cut LA-style pastrami, TOGO'S is the place to go! Trust me! The others are just flavorless in comparison; more reminiscent of corned beef than pastrami. I ordered a #9, regular size (6"), hot pastrami with light mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, and pepperoncini for a hint of acidity. The regular comes with 5 oz. of pastrami. The pastrami is highly-seasoned, delicately sliced, savory, and delicious! You can add more ounces of pastrami for an additional cost. Unfortunately, there are no TOGO'S left in the Conejo Valley. As the TOGO'S in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas slowly drop away, I am very pleased that there's still one left! I have been eating at TOGO'S for years and feel that this place is head and shoulders above the other sandwich chains that seem to be thriving for some reason that I can't imagine, give me TOGO'S any day! I am a big fan of their Asian Chicken Salad, and I will drive the 30 minutes it takes to come here for one. That's how good it is, and when I crave it, I gotta have it... I am so glad that there's still someplace I can get it in the valley. This is in a strip mall and there is a parking lot. It shares space with a Baskin Robbins and it was kind of cool to have our TOGO'S sandwiches and salad made by someone in a Baskin Robbins uniform! It also means that if you're looking for dessert, you have it right there, which is super convenient! For those familiar with TOGO'S, it's counter service, they have both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor seating on a walkway in front of the store. Service was friendly and quick! I have been coming to this location of Togos for more than 15 years. For a while the salads were not spectacular so it was infrequent. Recently I visited after they remodeled the place and it was a wonderful experience. The menu was updated, the place is fresh and light and much more inviting than previously. The staff were very friendly and when I asked for a salad from the menu, behind the counter, Carlos made a lovely salad, as though he eats salads and knows what it should look like and the best combination and quantity of ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and approach to a salad and sub sandwich. Enough so that I returned a few more times that week, bringing clients over and they had similar nice experiences. The manager should be commended for encouraging a happy and nice staff that makes the products with care and as though the food matters to the customer. Other shops in the area over measure the exact portion of cheese or olives etc., But for the team to be pleasant, and to make a nice salad or sub is everything to the customer. My studios are a block away so its convenient to break for lunch and to recommend it to my clients. I now eat there regularly and promote the shop to clients and peers as well. read more

I am glad there is still this Togos around - almost all of them have closed over the years but if you're lucky, there's one within driving distance. The prices are reasonable - they were always more expensive than Subway but because so many sandwich stores have closed, the prices are about the same nowadays everyplace. Was pleasantly surprised to find a Togo's around and relatively local after all the locations in Santa Clarita went away. It's small and shares a space with a Baskin Robbins and was good but not as good as I remembered. The patio could have used a bit of cleaning but there seemed to be a small stream of homeless passing through the plaza that would sit at the tables and leave a mess. There was only one person working the counter, so I'm guessing it's tough to get time to go clean tables. But still. Still though, if I'm in the area, I'd stop in for a sandwich. It's located in a busy shopping center, so parking can be pretty annoying, and you especially have to look out when you're backing out of your parking spot because people sometimes just breeze through the plaza. This location is combined with a Baskin Robbin's, so it's a bit larger and has an ample amount of seating. My boyfriend and I went here the other day and got our usual - #26 on wheat. He gets the full sized sandwich but I just get the mini classic. TIP: Check-in on the Yelp app to receive a free fountain drink! After taking a few bites of my sandwich, I realized it was terribly dry. The guy really skimped out on the mayo...it tasted like there was literally none on it.
