We will for sure be back to this location because Nixon and the team that was on (3/28/2026 afternoon) was so cool and awesome. My lady and I are kind of picky eaters... Nixon was there to make our first time at Five Guys a great experience. He answered it all. He had a good laugh with us. He recommended things from their menu. I have been here three times now and figured I should share my thoughts. I don't know why there's always comparisons between this place and In n Out because for me there is no competition. In n Out will always be #1 for me, but Five Guys is decent. The place is pretty big and roomy for a burger spot and very brightly lit. There's an open kitchen and everything is made fresh to order. I got a Double Cheeseburger with fries and drink and it was over $20. Way too expensive in my opinion. My burger was not awful but it wasn't amazing. I feel like it was just too messy and drowning in sauce/mayo, overpowering the taste of the meat, which wasn't cooked all the way. I like my burger patties cooked well done. Since it was drenched in sauce, the bread was getting soggy and falling apart as I ate it. The fries were also decent but not as crispy as I like. The customer service was great and every employee I had contact with was very nice and professional. The business is in the Coldwater/Ventura shopping plaza and has outdoor/underground parking shared with other businesses. The space was somewhat clean. I have always in between five guys or in&out. But this time five guys for me. A Team that was working today was amazing, i have witnessed an employee that was really great. A special teen came in and politely asked if he could purchase a drink only and not food, the employee responded to him " its okay i will give you this cup so you can get what ever drink you like" and the teen responded " really? Thank you very much". The gesture that this employee has given to the kids amazed me even in a simple way. We need more of these people. Five guys corporate you guys should take care of him. Been coming to this location for several years and while the burgers can sometimes be a hit or miss depending on who's preparing them, the staff here are usually very proficient and turn out delicious food. While it's not always consistent taste wise i have to say the employees here are just so polite and friendly and seem like they are genuinely having a good time that I can excuse the occasional inconsistency. I also like the fact that this store is very low volume (mostly to go orders) so because of the lack of crowds it makes eating inside the store an absolute pleasure. See you soon guys! read more

I've been a big fan of Five Guys for years. But today will be the last time unfortunately. I ordered a regular double cheeseburger, nothing crazy. When I saw the burger, the cheese was still cold like they just put it on there. I asked if it were possible that the cheese be melted since the slices were cold. They remade, only this time not only was the cheese not melted still it was so greasy the cheese slices were just sliding off the burger. I showed the guy and asked "Would you eat this? For a $14 burger with no friend or drink, absolutely not." He said he didn't know why the cheese wasn't melting. He offered to make it again, third time, i sadly declined. A little update four years later. So, suddenly, out of the blue or the red or the green, this patty melt thing (adding a patty to the grilled cheese sandwich) has become popular with the populace thanks to all those nincompoops who do those eating in cars videos - you know, where they put the microphones inside their mouths so we can hear every disgusting eating sound they make - who ARE these idiots - well, they're makin' a lot of money. They say things like "fire" and "good crunch" and "eight out of ten" - they're all the same, none of them have any business telling anyone what's good or not good and I'm thinking of starting my own channel called Old Jew In a Car Eating. What do you think? Anyway, I decided to try it - why not, I said to myself even though myself didn't respond. So, I ordered it and it arrive pretty quickly and was still reasonably warm. It wasn't bad. These nitwits in cars always had jalapeños to things that should NEVER EVER have them, and other add-ons - that is because they have no idea what a patty melt actually is. It's usually done on grilled rye with American cheese and grilled onions, although I've always preferred raw onions with just a little heat on them. That is IT. Ketchup, sure. But jalapeños? Anyway, they grill a burger bun upside down. Not quite rye bread, but I liked it and would have it again and apparently they're now making it an actual menu item. And there you have it. When I got the fries, I honestly thought it was a prank. The amount of seasoning dumped on them was insane. At first, I hoped it was just the top layer, but when I poured them out, seasoning literally fell out like sand. They were completely inedible. I called the store to let them know because I hate wasting food, especially when people are starving, and it felt so disrespectful that someone knowingly sent fries like that. It was enough seasoning for four orders, and I only had one. The manager, Andrew, left me on hold for over 7 minutes, didn't even introduce himself until I pressed him twice, and never once apologized or acknowledged the issue. He didn't ask for pictures, didn't try to make it right, and showed zero empathy--even after I explained how upset I was that I had to throw the food away. I only called to give them the courtesy of direct feedback, but after that lack of accountability or basic customer service, I feel compelled to post this review. Would've given 2.5 but no halfsies on Yelp. Five Guys now charges more for less. I don't mind paying a bit more as long as the QA justifies the cost. Last Saturday evening's visit with my family of four fell short. Ordered a hamburger and received a cheeseburger; another burger was missing jalapeños and grilled onions as ordered; milkshake sans whipped cream -- friendly worker didn't ask 'whip or nah?' and not only did the fries lack that satisfying salty seasoning that edges out 5G over other fast food choices, but the portions were noticeably skimpy compared to the full bag dump we are accustomed to - no paper cup buy now a paper container the size of a McD's small-ish fries. To their credit, the restaurant is tidy and workers had a positive attitude. For me the famed freebie roasted peanuts were a high point. And the kids were happy with their burgers. But ohh well. Chalk it up to corporate capitalistic aims cause, well, $$$ earnings outweigh customer satisfaction every day of the week. Five Guys, you are more than welcome to prove me wrong. read more

Five Guys is typically a great place for a solid burger, friendly service and a clean environment. I was moving last weekend. We took a break Saturday evening and popped into Five Guys. Three of us ordered Cheeseburgers with various toppings, and a regular order to fries to share. Everything came out as expected and our cashier was quite friendly. I love 5Guys juicy burgers and unlimited FREE toppings like grilled mushrooms , A-1 sauce BbQ , and the fries, . I live walking distance to an In/out Burger . I will drive 15 miles (my nearest) when i'm craving their (chicago style) french fries. They won't even cook them till you walk in the door. these are the best eaten fresh so eat your fries first . the only way to revive them is an air fryer at home . Last night my husband ate most of the fries but my little cheeseburger was awesome with grilled mushrooms tomatoes & A-1 . I hadnt been here in a minute but decided to try it again since it was on my list of Chase offers for a 10 % rebate. My burger was made exactly to my specs including being well done ! The fries and burger were very tasty and needed very little extra condiments. Service was fast and my order only took about 5 minutes . The only negative is that the menu is a bit pricey, about 10 dollars more than any other burger place for a double burger and fries - 22 bucks plus tip ! Burgers (buns) tend to fall apart if you get a lot of toppings and sauce. Can't decide if I like this burger more than In N Out, it's close, they each have their own flavor. This place has bacon, pickles and mushrooms available, In N Out doesn't. Fries are excellent, served fresh and hot, much better than In N Out fries. Been a while since I had a burger at Five Guys, so I decided to have a cheat meal since I was in the area. Parking is pretty easy with metered street parking as well as a lot in the back. I ended up ordering the standard cheeseburger (technically a double), cajun fries, and a drink. As for burger toppings, I decided to forgo most of the regular veggies and just got grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, and mustard. They had the usual complimentary peanuts and fancy digital soda machines. Food was ready in 10-15 mins. The burger did not disappoint and was cooked perfectly. The meat was tender, flavorful, with that gooey melty cheese. Definitely as good as I remember from the pre-pandemic days. Still has got to be one of my favorite burger spots that trumps In & Out for sure. Higher price, higher quality, and higher satisfaction. I took my son to Five Guys in Studio City on Ventura Boulevard. We ordered 1 cheeseburger 1 small cheeseburger, 1 large fry, and 2 medium drinks. The food was delicious. The price was $45. Outrageous and we won't be patronizing them again sadly due to their sky-high prices. Other people must feel the same as the restaurant was virtually empty. The burgers are good as are the fries and service, but the cost is now prohibitive and out of our reach. They have too many guys just standing around. The restaurant was not clean either, with crumbs all over the tables, and the floor not swept. It is really sad when a good burger joint becomes unaffordable and out of touch with its customers. Major mistake if you're ordering through any delivery service. My UberEats driver had to go back because they gave him the wrong order completely. Asked for my bacon on the side of a double bacon cheeseburger and what I got was burnt tree bark (pictured). Also ordered a large fry which was half filled. Even called the location stating what I was ordering because they have no notes available on the UberEats app. In the end, I'll never order from this location again. The employees are nice and greet everyone when they arrive, the store is clean with plenty of seating. They also have the Coca-Cola Freestyle soda machine, which I think gives you the option for nearly every coke product. Last but definitely not least they have peanuts. I usually love the burgers and fries here but don't go very often because it's very expensive. Their food quality has been slipping lately, but my last experience was the final straw. I got a take out order of a Little Bacon Cheeseburger, a large fry, and a drink ($24.07). When I got to the restaurant, they hadn't even started cooking the fries. After waiting, I took my order home (less than a mile in the car.) I opened the bag to discover my $9 order of french fries were both cold and burnt to a crisp. Completely inedible. The restaurant would not answer my calls over the course of an hour and the online form to complain took over fifteen minutes to fill out.
