We've been passing by this spot for quite a while and finally decided to give it a try--and it did not disappoint! We're usually not big fans of muffins, but we decided to try one and were pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious, but the highlight of our visit was definitely the coffee drinks. They were flavorful, well-made, and the perfect complement to our treats. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. She was incredibly patient in explaining the menu and helping us choose what to try. Excellent customer service always makes a difference, and it made our experience even more enjoyable. Has so much potential but gave it 3 stars rather than 5 stars is because of a few things they could do better. First off, found this place after influencer Violet Bass showed the gluten free breakfast sandwich she got here and it looked great. I like the vibes of the place. The issue is their staff didn't get multiple people's orders right. I can tell because someone else came to the counter to say they got something wrong and they got mine wrong (didn't do eggs runny or no tomatoes) The person taking orders multiple time had to turn to a coworker to translate to Spanish which was a bad sign. Honestly, order online so they get it right but that shouldn't be necessary as a walk in. The food was good but not as good as I hoped. The hash brown was a little too soft and not crisp. All the bacon on my sandwich slipped out to the bottom. It was a little overly salty. Didn't get the egg right. It was good with easy potential to be 5 star good but just was 3 star good sadly. I will come back in hopes they get it right but can see this place failing because if two people had their orders messed up while there, that is not a harbinger of success. If this place gets the food consistently right like I saw they did for the person they hired to promote on insta or how their food looks in the pictures, this place would be a gem. Get quality control down before you promote! $10 for a breakfast sandwich isn't crazy priced these days if you nail it. It isn't worth it if it's 3 star quality though. Decided to stop into Muffin Can Stop Us for a little breakfast at lunchtime. As others have noted, the parking lot is a touch tricky, with most of the spots reserved for other businesses; so you have to juggle between what's left in the lot and what's available on the street. Not a big deal at this time of day, but could be difficult at high-volume times. The place itself is a fun and funky spot, with a bold yellow decor evoking egg yolk "distressed" by artsy graffiti, and homey, antique shop-looking tables and couches (though tables outside are of a more uniform, weather resistant type). Despite the homey touches in the design, the menu itself could be described as marginally elevated fast food devoid of any home-cooked touches. A selection of egg sandwiches served on English muffins, some actual muffins of the blueberry type, and some blended drinks and coffees, etc. Nothing all that inventive or interesting, and certainly not reaching the creativity or execution of EggSlut. I opted for the traditional American Sandwich with bacon, egg and cheddar, but without aioli, as I'm not keen to put mayo on my egg sandwiches. I also ordered a side of hash browns and a Diet Coke. Once delivered, the sandwich in reality was even less exciting than its description. Rather than the sunny side up egg prominently displayed in all the photos, the sandwich was delivered with an egg over hard, ergo there was no yolk to add creaminess or flavor to the sandwich. Bacon and cheese were standard issue with no specific taste to distinguish them from what any teen might make at home. The jumbo-sized Thomas' English Muffin is appreciated, but was served under-cooked and doughy. Likewise, the hash brown patty was of the generic commercial type, and came lukewarm without much crisp. Given how dry and bland it all was, I decided to try a dab of the mayo-looking sauce that was included in an unmarked plastic packet -- indeed, it was a slightly spicy, very artificial-tasting commercial mayo that actually made the bite worse. So, while the concept is a fun one, the look of the place amusing, and the staff quite friendly, the bland, haphazardly prepared food really is a disappointment, and I see no reason to return. read more

However, there are no restrooms at this location which makes it inconvenient if you like to wash your hands before eating. The indoor space has loud music and a bold yellow and black color scheme. Outdoor seating includes benches and bar style tables with umbrellas. While muffins are the namesake here, they're not the only option. The menu also includes waffles, parfaits, oatmeal and hash browns. An interesting variety of coffee, tea and lemonade complements the breakfast offerings. That said, the Americanos we ordered were disappointing: cold, weak and ultimately tossed after one sip. We tried the bacon and sausage muffins, and both were delicious. They reminded us of a more upscale version of a McDonald's breakfast sandwich but slightly larger and better quality. When you walk in you're hit with accents of yellow and cozy corners to sit down. They have a couch, a table with chairs, and a couple other seats. My partner ordered a classic Americano sandwich and a Banana Boat Latte. My sandwich was good and had the basic ingredients to a yummy breakfast sandwich, my only feedback is I wish the bread was more toasted and they added more sauce. The hashbrown is just another hashbrown patty you'd get anywhere, it didn't stick out much. The matcha was not my style, it's good but it mainly tasted like milk with vanilla (I prefer my matcha be more rich). My partner ate his sandwich real fast and said it was enough to satisfy a quick breakfast. The banana latte was sweet and yummy! Husband picked up breakfast for us from here, over the weekend. I'd always driven by and admired the name. The sandwiches and drinks are equally fun! I love how customizable just about everything is. The menu offers a wide variety of English muffin sandwiches, along with hash browns, acai or yogurt bowls and overnight oats, actual muffin muffins, and coffee drinks. I texted my order of a Mother Muffin Salmon sandwich because I'm obsessed with lox, and added a runny egg because why not. He then texted me again with "Did you see all the cool coffee drinks they have??" so I added an iced raspberry mocha with oatmilk to my order. We also shared some hash browns. My sandwich was outstanding, and I loved how generous they were with the salmon. I wish there was the option to order more cream cheese/spread because I didn't think it was enough for the sandwich. The hashbrowns were great too, and they also give side packets of cholula, ketchup and spicy mayo so that you can create the breakfast of your dreams. Paul's Banana Boat iced coffee was very tasty as well, and didn't have the artificial banana taste that a lot of drinks have. The prices here are super reasonable too, especially for Studio City! The guy was alone, but it took so long to get my English muffin and when it came, it was cold. It was supposed to have locks and capers.
