I stopped in around 5:30 a.m., and it's refreshing to find a place that's not only open that early but also staffed by someone who genuinely enjoys being there. The barista greeted me with a smile, was friendly and welcoming, and made an outstanding Americano. It was incredibly smooth and one of the better Americanos I've had in a long time. I also appreciated that my drink was served in a real ceramic mug for a dine-in order--a small touch that made the experience feel warm and inviting. As someone who likes to get an early start, I was also happy to find plenty of outlets and reliable Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot to get some work done before the day begins. Great coffee, genuine hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere made for the perfect start to my morning. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

I waited 4 minutes to get order, and another 5 before I asked for a refund. i was on the clock and waited while the Barista chatted with a friend in line talking about meeting at a bar or something on Friday. Bu the time I waited 5 minutes after the order, the same people were still waiting for their drink. A couple that came in after me got there's before I did. 9:40 by the time a left with no coffee. No,"Someone will be right with you" No apology for the wait time. She offered me a coffee instead of the Americano I paid for, then I thought I paid via card, but I paid cash. The cashier couldn't tell on his end that I paid cash. $6.50. No customer awareness. I won't be back. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this crew was awful... Really bad look for those people. The steak was cooked perfectly and cakes were bomb! My son had the Eggs Benedict with hash-browns extra crispy. He devoured it! Our Buddy had the southern breakfast with biscuits and gravy. A third plate devoured. The restaurant probably seats close to 40, but it was packed all morning and several local are showing up for take out. Like as in "I can't wait to go back to Tehachapi to have more. Seriously. My husband is with me on that assessment. I had the pulled pork plate and he had the brisket plate. We both chose the red chili as our side and the plates came with cornbread. The four tableside BBQ sauces were all excellent as well. Meats were tender and flavorful, the red chili hearty, tasty, every spoonful satisfying, and the cornbread was moist and just the amount of sweet. We wished we had bigger squares of it.
