This is a delicious place to enjoy some authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Prices are moderate. Service was timely. We shared a 2 skewer plate that included a cucumber salad, hummus and rice. My only disappointment was the girl taking our order asked if we wanted a half or full order of baklava for dessert. She stayed there were 2 pieces in the half order and 4 pieces for a full. We ordered the half since there were 2 of us and we received only 1 piece from a gentleman. When we questioned the one piece he stated you only get one with a half order. Please be sure this is clear with all employees so as not to mislead your customers. read more

The food is so delicious it's heavenly. Went out to lunch with my Wife and everything was made with absolute perfection. I had their Philly cheesesteak sandwich, garlic fries, and their famous baklava. My Wife ordered their chicken shish kabob pita sandwich. It's been a hot minute since I have been here. Just don't ever think of going. I wanted something somewhat healthy, so we decided on here. We all got the beef shawarma wraps, they didn't have pork available that day. Then, to have the healthy eating idea fly out the window, we ordered the garlic fries. We happened to come at a busy time so it took about 15 minutes to get our order. I sat and enjoyed their mint tea. The wraps were very good, the fries disappointing. They used to overload the garlic on them to where you would have it coming out your pores for days. This time not very much on them. We parked on the street and the aromal of delicious smelling cooking meat greeted our noses and pulled us around the corner like Toucan (Froot Loops commercials). Open kitchen where you can see & smell the food cooking. Nice &;friendly Staff and easy to read menu. Small dining area in front with a bigger one to the side, with outdoor seating. We stopped in for lunch and spent about $50 for two (no drinks), drank water. We both ordered Pitas (Beef & Chicken), large garlic fries, and an order of Falafel (4 pieces). The one bright spot was the lady who took our order--she was very kind, friendly, and provided great customer service. I had the lamb shawarma and my wife had the lamb shish kebab. Although the food was good, the lamb was overcooked. We asked for the lamb to be cooked medium rare- it was medium well. The tables were dirty, we and others had to clean the tables before we sat down. One of the workers picked up a couple of menus but left the table dirty. I asked for water and was told to get our own water at the water station- it was dry, no water in the tank. She said she would fill it- I had to ask twice for water. read more

Delicious! Falafel pita wrap. The pita was melt in your mouth fresh, the tahini, lettuce, pickles, tomato was perfectly balanced with the crispy falafels covered with sesame seeds. The cummin came out and gave them a bold taste. Nice sized serving. Babaganouj was good along with some day old(er) pita. Nice seating on patio, but watch for wind. I absolutely love this place. Their food is fantastic. The beef and the meat has so much flavor and char grilled flavor. The ingredients are fresh. I absolutely give it a very high rating , they have so much to offer on their menu but if you love tri-tip, you'll absolutely love this dish on the plate combo or the wraps. Ordered a falafel wrap along with garlic fries. The wrap had very little lettuce, almost no diced tomatoes and the hummus was too watery. It was prepared in a sloppy manner with hummus smeared on the outside of the lavash bread. The garlic fries were not crunchy on the outside, were hard on the inside and mostly soggy. They were tossed out. No cellular mobile payments accepted. It seems like locals enjoy coming here due to the lack of great Mediterranean eateries in Kern County. Used to work in Tehachapi, once or twice a week and although there are a lot of good spots to eat-once I found this one it was always my go to. Trying to find a restaurant in the area that served vegan/gluten-free options for a large group was incredibly hard. When I called two weeks before our trip I spoke with the owner and he graciously offered to stay open later for us to have the dining room to ourselves. We were able to have everything served family style and it was great because we had minimal leftovers. I had emailed our order ahead of time which meant the dinner service ran very smoothly! I got so many compliments on the food. The baba ghanoush was very spicy and had so much garlic flavor it was one of my favorites! The chicken skewers also were grilled to perfection and with the added sauces had so much depth of flavor. Overall it was a very light and flavorful meal, the service was great, parking was easy, and the owner was incredible! I highly recommend coming. read more

Incredible food here. I was working near Tehachapi during my last strike team deployment and couldn't get enough of this place. Healthy portions and authentic!
