They are attentive and treat you nicer than you expect at a business. The food is served in very generous portions and they make a good, house made, horchata. I recommend ordering some. If grandkids are listening, I say the food is pulled up a bit by you're hospitality. Pico de gallo? A blended maybe cooked tomato chili salsa? Freshly chopped onion and cilantro? The rice is a bit bland, but when combined with the red wet burrito sauce, it is fantastic. I think a drizzle of that sauce should be on the inside of every burrito. I am a foodie, and I am giving you a full five stars overall, but recommend a little more fresh veggie. I only write reviews if establishments are excellent or somehow a disappointment. Valet parking would have been less convenient. Things were looking up. I went full gringo and bought a super burrito. Was it OK? No. Was it good? No. Was it great? Getting there. Was it superb? Warmer. Was it T R A N S C E N D E N T? YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was the sauce good? Ok, let's not do this again. Yes! The sauce was HELLA GOOD! How good? Let's just say they sell it by the bottle FOR A REASON, primo. For a reason. Did I buy a bottle? Uh, do people come from out of state to buy bottles to freeze? Uh, yes. So yeah, you best believe I copped a bottle. Call the burrito Davíd Blaine because that lil hommie disappeared real quick. (I got the al pastor which was perfect btw. ) The ambiance? I don't know. Do you remember the color of the carpet when you were at the California Lottery's finance office to pick up your Powerball winnings (you picked lump sum)? Then you know what I'm talking about. A lot of tops. Place was clean. Menu's were easy to read. The very nice lady working the register was hella cool and even offered up suggestions when I was vacillating. Lots of dudes in the kitchen so my to-go came out real quick. (Lots of cooks to me means they're doing a brisk business. Which means fresher food. Faster service. Etc. You know the ------ vibes! So all I have now is this bottle of green salsa and the knowledge that refills are only $5.00. For life. Yes they make it fresh every damn day. Stop playing. Maybe I'll see you at Tacos Jalisco when I'm filling up my bottle.

Plus the line for the drive up window blocks many of the available spaces. We, like others, had to park in a parking lot across the street... no doubt that business loves that spillover??? First using the restroom was disgusting. It was filthy, not maintained and way too small for the volume of people. As a model they should know better by now. Does any staff check it occassionally? It was 1:30 on a weekday and they just couldn't keep up with the orders and the lines didn't move and it got incredibly backed up. Folks were getting super irritated. Then the bedlam of finding a place to sit and eat. People hovered over tables waiting for that last bite to grab a place. Children ran around unruly, screaming and yelling (OK, that's a parent issue, but staff should be trained as they walk around to tell them that's not acceptable). Then, the most disappointing part- the food. I'm sorry it's not what it used to be. The volume is apparently sacrificing quality. What happened? Even the fries were soggy and greasy. I should give it one star, but this has been a long standing mainstay for quick quality fast food. Sorry, no more. I left this experience upset and with a lump in my stomach. They had a model that worked but didn't expand the corporate 'mold' to meet the demand.

I feel like they can get around this so easily because they never tell you the total at the speaker. Again, that wouldn't be a problem if they were honest with their prices. I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this, but things always catch up in the end. Baldo's is going to lose a lot of loyal customers because of their declining customer service, which sucks brcause their food is actually good. But it's not like there aren't other places we can go to for a breakfast burrito. Just saying.

Oh man. This place used to be pretty decent with a nice staff but everyone is gone and now it's just two older women, one whom I believe is the owner, who run the place. Really unfriendly. No customer service skills. They make rude comments to customers, make fun of them, talk trash about them in front of everyone else...really disappointing to witness this. I come here because its conveniently near my work. Will not be coming here anymore after they laughed at and rolled their eyes at an elderly woman who appeared to have a disability who was taking a bit longer than they liked. Bad Karma to these people. They deserve all the bad luck they can get from the universe for being so awful. I have witnessed and experienced their rudeness over the years but this was the icing on the cake. read more

Stingy, stingy, stingy!!! There is more bread than anything else!! My husband mentioned their chicken was empty, so didn't even get a full scoop on my sandwich.. he then added 2 small pieces of chicken.
