Really inconsistent with sandwiches and customer service. Go in early morning for a better experience. Very nice lady two weeks ago took my coupon for the two foot long sandwiches. Extremely terrible customer service. This location makes up its own rules regarding coupons. I've successfully used the same coupons here before, but today I was told they couldn't be applied to the roast beef. When I mentioned that I had used them previously, I asked if we could at least try scanning the coupon to see if it would go through. Well this Subway's overall Yelp rating of 2.5 says it all. My biggest problem was that these guys will not honor Subway coupons. They say their system will not allow it. I craved for Subway after the not-so-good experience in Napa branch I tried Vacaville with same Tuna order... I walked in and i can feel the freshness and cleanliness of this branch.. The area is like a hole in a wall you can barely see them... Thanks to GPS.. Anyways, i ordered Tuna and another one chicken bacon ranch in both Herb and Cheese Bread with pepperjack cheese and everything on it in a sweet onion dressing... I watched her prepare both orders and i saw the prep garnished and condiments, from meat to veggies to cheese and dressing- all look fresh... After paying we stayed in the car and ate our food, one bite tells all - Fresh, delicious, soft and thumbs up to this location and to the staff who prepared these 2 orders... Getting a salad at Subway should be extremely easy. Use the app, select what you want, pay and pick it up. Yesterday, I did exactly that. Today, I elected to do the same thing. Logged into the app, tweaked my order a bit, submitted and picked it up. From there, things got extremely frustrating. Once I get home (15 minutes from the store), the salad was wrong. Ingredients were missing and some ingredients that were supposed to be double quantity were not. Dressing was non-existent. Cheese was non-existent. Obvious errors. I returned with the salad and stated that was not made correctly and asked for it to be remade. Mistakes happen, wastes everyone's time but I would rather fix it, eat my salad and move on with my day. First, they cannot find the receipt. They cannot find it in the register or computer (I ordered online). I gave them the time it was ordered, the name (repeated three times and spelled) and the time of pick up (relevant because the store was empty when I picked it up). Still can't find my order and asks that I tell them what to make. I start with the meat selection and remind them that it was double. Store clerk then says "oh yeah, I remember this salad, I made it and it was right." I repeat that it was not correct, that vegetables were missing and the vegetables that were present had tiny quantities (about two pickles, a couple of pieces of bell pepper, etc.) The salad filled about 1/3rd of the bowl when I was intentionally loading it with vegetables that should have filled it. Clerk then tells me that I need to be nicer or go somewhere else. At this point I am extremely upset. To which I reply; fine, refund the salad and I will go somewhere else. Plenty of Subways in town. Clerk then gives me a PARTIAL refund and states that since there was nothing wrong with the salad that I do not deserve a full refund. They didn't ever find the receipt, had no idea what the correct amount was and just guessed at how much to refund to me. Instead of stating that, I get the excuse that I do not "deserve" a full refund. I ask for the name and number of the manager, clerk refuses. I leave, highly unlikely to ever return. read more

I just ordered 4 sandwiches to be delivered from GrubHub with a gift card I got from my birthday. 3 OUT OF THE FOUR SANDWICHES WERE VERY MESSED UP!!!!! 3/4 were supposed to be toasted; zero were. One was supposed to have avocado, it didn't. The only reason you didn't get one star, is that we were mostly able to fix our sandwiches by removing things and adding things we had at home. Awesome customer service, I love how they treat me like a friend! The restaurant was clean and had a lot of natural light, which is important to me while I eat. I love watching the banana peppers glisten in the sunlight and the water droplets on the crisp lettuce, is magnificent. read more

Debating calling the health department about this place. As if the lack of customer service wasn't bad enough, I have never had a worse Subway sandwich in my life. The guy working gave me the owner vibe. Super skimpy with the meat and every single other ingredient, like he's the one losing money at this crap shoot location. The sandwich was BAD. Every part. It was a whole wheat flatbread which are normally delicious at other locations, but not here. This time around what I was served was a soggy possibly moldy abomination of a flatbread sandwich. Had I been in the store when I sat down to eat it I would have demanded a refund. Instead it was late, 8:45 pm and I was already back home when I opened my shit sandwich. Took a few bites and felt like it tasted like risky business. Like food poisoning was a real possibility here. So yeah, last nights dinner went straight in the trash because you guys take no pride in making a quality product and have no problem serving another human being garbage. Terrible! Can't understand a word anybody says. Order are taken out of sequence, and the employees have so many customers at the counter, they are tripping over each other (employees & customers!) We ordered the "Avocado Turkey Sub" as advertised on t.v. and on their print ad's....they put 1/4 of an avocado on the sandwich and told me I'd have to pay extra if I wanted more. I called the Subway 800 number to complain, they told me the owner of the place would get back to me...NEVER got a call back. I used to go here a lot, since it's by the BevMo I used to frequent. On the stretch of 80 between the San Francisco and Auburn, the choices for vegan food are pretty limited (yes, I know the bread isn't). I've always gotten the vege sub. But for some reason, no matter how it's explained, and no matter the employee, "a tiny amount of mustard" always translates into a large amount, potentially ruining the sandwich. I ordered a simple ham and swiss cheese sandwich for my 2 year old and a turkey with everything. I get home open his sandwich and they gave me the wrong one. It was a turkey with veggies no mayo or any dressing. I was upset because I had set him up to eat already and I didn't feel like going back so I made e best of it. Well, this is my fourth time going to this location since I began working in the area. The 2nd time I went, there was a young woman there who looked to be Samoan who was really nice which prompted me to come back to this location. She was very friendly and welcoming. All of the other times I have been to this location, there has been a short Indian woman who is usually there when I go around 2pm who is just rude. Today, while she was making my sandwich I saw something green on my ham and I asked her if there was something there and she got irritated with me. (Who would want to eat ham with green on it??) She looked at every piece of meat on the sandwich except for the one that I was telling her I saw something on. To avoid further frustration from me I just went on and let her make the sandwich since I didn't see anything on the other pieces that were on the line. When we get to pay for the food, I wanted to make sure that the sandwich I got rang up for $3.50 because I looked up and the total was $5.10 and she looked as if I asked her to pay for the food with her own money. I pay for the food and I am just ready to get out of there and go eat my lunch so I'm not late and as I'm walking out I realize that my receipt is not in the bag, so I go back in to get it and she is helping another customer and she looks at me as if I'm being a bother... I let her know that I need my receipt and she asks as though she can't hear me. So the customer that she's helping says, "She needs her receipt." Now I was willing to wait until she finished with him but she came over and gave it to me and looked at it and handed it over to with no expression on her face. I apologized to the man that she stopped helping but he was fine with it. Now I understand that everybody does not have a smiling face... But when you're rude to with it, that is not appealing to me and does not invite me to want to come back in (which maybe she doesn't want me to). But I have not ever been rude, even though she has been to me I try to smile and be personable but she is just a rock. When I get to my car, I look for the piece of green I saw, turns out it was just from some spinach, but geez what if it was mold or something.. Gross.. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't and she acted as if I was just making things up. Guess what, I think I'll drive the extra half mile and go to the Subway in the outlets, it's still close to my job. I love SubWay. This one gives the franchise a bad name. The employees are more sorely in need of training than Bonquiqui at Burger King.
