Have always loved the schnitzel, but after today, I don't think I'll be back. I got the chili cheese fries burrito, total garbage! Barely any fries and the chili today seemed way too salty. I also got the most basic dog on the menu, the mustard dog, what do you think they forgot to put on this complex order? That's right, the freaking mustard! Got a peach lemonade and it was just WAY TOO SWEET! Combined with how expensive this garbage food has become, I just don't see myself going back. oh my oh my oh my the fact that the cook has no gloves on digging his bare hands in EVERYTHING is crazy to me. I seen him kneeling down on the floor then he popped up out of the blue when I to the freezer grabbed my food out of a bucket with bare hands tossed it into the dryer from where he was at. then put hand sanitizer on and immediately went back into the same bucket no gloves on again tossed more chicken in the grease. wiped his hands on his pants and proceeded to garnish our food with no gloves on tomatoes pickles I brought it to their attention that I'm sitting here watching him. This is the worst branch of this establishment that I have ever been to. Upon entering, there was no one at the register (which is not bad) but a worker, a young woman with red hair, made eye contact with me when I said "hello" anticipating to be served, and walked right past me. No acknowledgment, no "we'll be with you shortly", just a frown and walked past me. She was clearly going through something. The gentleman at the drive-thru, after serving a drive thru customer, looked over to me with the same drab, unenthusiastic demeanor. His mood matched the dark zip up hoodie he wore with the hoodie over his head. "What can I get for you?" After making my order, I asked "do you have a restroom I can use?" Without any explanation he uttered the code to me like it was the most difficult thing in the world to do. The restroom was a disaster. The toilet seat was broken, it looked as though someone decided that the toilet bowl and the floor was the aim for their bodily fluids, and the extra roll of toilet paper sat on the edge of the garbage can. I don't expect fast food restaurants to be 5 stars but clearly the sight of the bathrooms paired with the attitude of the workers who clearly did not want to be there, told me that I could not eat the food I just ordered. I tossed it. I spent $12 to be shown that these people are either overworked or they're going through something and the manner of their service along with the state of their restrooms falls on the shoulders of management as much as it falls on these workers. I've been a customer for a LONG time. This location has gone through many owners/changes. Currently they are in a BAD condition. I don't know what the cause, however the chilly cheese dogs are not the same .... Additionally chilly cheese fries are different also, almost like the have changed or done something to the chilly.. YUK....And in addition to that the prices have gone through the atmosphere... A large chilly cheese fries is almost $10... Last time they went through this phase I didn't return for 2.5 years.. Even the manager basically said 'call customer support' and refused to make THEIR error right. Attempting to call the support number results in non-stop ringing and then finally being disconnected. My family likes going to Wienerschnitzel. We went there on Saturday night at 7:30 but the lobby was already closed. The chili cheese dogs are really good and my son loves their chili cheese burgers. We almost always get ice cream for dessert. The food is way to messy for my kids to eat in the car and we order our ice cream after we finish eating the hot food so the ice cream doesn't melt. I am not sure why they close the lobby so early and there is no signage to indicate what the lobby hours are. We left and went to the Wienerschnitzel in Fairfield and their lobby was closed as well! We ended up going to Moolah burgers that was close by and had a great meal. We may have found a new place to go after Church on Saturdays. read more

Would be a 1 star review, but the manager on duty gave me a full refund after I requested to be compensated for the fact that I had to drive e back to the store and gas prices are almost $7 a frickin gallon. They were slow when I arrived. I ordered 2 of the Chicago Veggie Dogs and a Medium Fry. I got home and 1 of the hot dogs was covered in beef chili, cheese and fries. I called and a female finally picked up after the 10th ring and said "Hello", not "Wienerschnitzel, how can I help you" so I had to ask if it was the right place because she didn't identify the business properly. When I got to the store I explained the issue and showed them what they gave me. They offered to remake it, but I didn't trust that. So I asked to be refunded for the hot dog and fry which was more than fair. The manager was only going to refund the hot dog until I said something, then he gave me a full refund. Super disappointed. I haven't been to this Wienerschnitzel in a while and was really looking forward to trying these hot dogs, but I don't think I will be going back here again. The Chile Dog was also quite tasty, but the sauerkraut on the Kraut Dog tasted, well, home-made, because nothing this bad comes from a jar, but my friend liked it fine, so it must be a matter of taste. Ordered the Scoop, Chile Cheese and nothing more than some soggy potato slices with cheese on them. Hadn't been to Weinerschnitzel in a very long time. Never been to this one, and I won't be back! In all fairness, we did get the order to go, but it just looked and tasted bad. Our order included the Chicago dog for DP, a cheeseburger for JK and the bacon dog for myself. Having had the Chicago dog a couple times, he said it's been consistently good. JK's cheeseburger was a mess. The bun was torn and it was cold. My bacon dog left a lot to be desired. The bacon was limp and stringy and it too was cold. While ordering I informed the guy behind the counter that I hadn't been to his location before and asked what he recommended. He plainly answered "whatever looks good." Okay... I finally came here after always seeing this spot for the last 15 or so years. Wienerschnitzel's was very clean and the guy behind the counter was nice. I ordered a corn dog, small fries, and a small strawberry lemonade. I waited maybe around 5 minutes and my food was set. I enjoyed the corn dog it was very good and the bread around it was great. The fries were how i like them not too crispy and not too soggy. The lemonade was refreshing as well. I was really impressed by the spot and the prices (I paid about 5 bucks for everything).
