Ok ok, I figured I should write a review on this place and let everyone know my secret "fountain of youth". I've been to Suddenly Slimmer for a few procedures (nothing major or crazy...) to get rid of some unwanted scars and tone some areas of skin. I mean, let's face it ladies (and men, too), we're our own worst critics when it comes to our body. The first time I went in for a consultation, I had the pleasure of speaking with and meeting Jeanie. She was extremely professional, courteous, patient (I had tons of questions), and knowledgeable. She went into great detail about removing the scarring and the procedure and basically walked me through the whole process from beginning to end -- and what to expect thereafter. She was honest and didn't try to up-sell me on anything I didn't need just to get more money out of me. Well, after taking a few days to think about everything, I was ready to book. I called and spoke with the delightful front office staff and booked my appointment. On the day of my treatment, I was a bit nervous but the technician calmed my nerves, explained everything and kept me chatting away the entire time as if we were long lost friends now reunited. The treatment, although a bit painful (I mean, removing deep scars from years ago isn't an easy thing to do), went by super quickly, and I was out of there before I knew it. The technician sent me home with after care instructions and even called me the next day to check up on me... how's THAT for exceptional customer service and showing they care about their patients?! I also got some skin tightening treatments... when you lose weight, no amount of working out will tighten the skin. So, I turned to the next best thing ('cause I refuse to go under the knife) -- non-invasive treatments. Now it did take a few months to see the results as my body also needed to heal naturally, however, wow -- I love the results!!! Well, seeing how I'm a sucker for a day at the spa, and always looking for new ways to pamper myself... 'cause if I don't, who's gonna?! I booked more treatments at the spa. (And I gotta be honest, the amazing email deals and specials were taunting me). So I finally called and booked a micro-needling facial -- you know, where it brings new blood to the skin and helps reduce lines and wrinkles, and makes your skin "baby soft" (not that I have any lines and wrinkles now, but why not nip those before I get them?! I think ahead... hehe). I called and spoke with the sweetest front desk girl (I'm sorry I don't remember her name), and booked my appointment for a facial, yay! I'm extremely excited for my appointment and can't wait to see the results (don't worry, I'll post before and after pictures). Not sure why this place has such a low star rating, quite honestly they're the best spa around The Valley that offers treatments to look your best. I called several places prior to booking with Suddenly Slimmer -- and although they are a bit far from where I live, I happily drive here over going anywhere else. They are professional, have amazing technicians and staff, have the most up-to-date procedures and newest equipment... all for incredibly reasonable prices! Seriously, I wouldn't go elsewhere. I would have to say my first experience was not the best however this time around made up for it and then some. Despite the negative reviews I read, I went ahead with Cool Sculpting. I was told I was a perfect candidate at 5'4" and 120 lbs. I had upper back (bra bulge) and lower back done. After two rounds of Cool Sculpting and +$3K I saw NO results! The only change I see is that my back is worse then when I started treatment and lumpy, it looks awful. I've never had a lumpy back in my life. The employees and Manager at Suddenly Slimmer Med Spa at the Phoenix location did acknowledge that the treatment was unsuccessful and they stated they would be reaching out to corporate for further assistance, several months have passed and I'm still waiting for a phone call. I am so disappointed with Cool Sculpting and Suddenly Slimmer Med Spa The advertising is false and misleading. I urge you to not go with Cool Sculpting. It may also leave you disfigured. I have been getting my lips done for a few years now, I won't go anywhere but suddenly slimmer!! The injector has such an amazing touch and is an artist! I also love coolsculpting!!! Booked a tattoo removal and had paid in advance. Started the process in 2019 and just did my last session (July 2023). My tattoo is still visible. They constantly would cancel my appointment because they broke their machine. They wouldn't call to make me aware of it either. I once checked in.. waited 45 minutes for them to tell me they can't do it and to reschedule. Compensating one free session. I agree then show up for my next session for them to tell me it was my last one, when I know it hadn't been. Once during a session I am certain the technician doing my tattoo removal purposely made it more painful and literally burned my skin off because I had complained about the bad experiences prior. I was sold a Radiesse face/neck treatment at a cost of $2500.00, with promises of improvement and was shown pictures of what to expect. What a waste of money, I've seen no improvement and the treatment left pea size nodules in my face and neck which are still there after two months. I mentioned this to the injector and her response was to put heat on it and massage the nodules, no help. The sales person hyped this treatment to me with promises of improvement but it's been a total disappointment. I have frequented this location for 2yrs. I typically see Dr. Jeffers for Botox and fillers -and Zahara for laser hair removal. Both are great at listening to my needs and goals/ what I am trying to achieve cosmetically and adjusting care from there. Only downside is there are periodically mix ups or miscommunications as to procedure or billing. Thankfully, Jenna at the front desk has excellent customer service skills and was able to sort out details and amend such discrepancies. 1YEAR LATER UPDATE: I still frequent this location, despite having shopped around at some competitors for pricing, I still favor this medspa- they keep getting better!! I called from the airport to book my services, and the staff were more than accommodating. I appreciated speaking to knowledgable staff about something as serious as weight loss. I booked a fat burner body wrap, and expressed interest in cool sculpting, and 2 shots. With the wrap, I lost 2 inches in my abdomen al while watching Netflix :) a plus! Post wrap and measurement, I spent some down time in one of their infrared saunas while Shereen explained how toxins and fat work inside the body. I really thought I knew it all--I don't. Had 25 units of Botox injected at my 11s. At the 2 week mark, there was noticeable improvement, however, less than 3 weeks after injections, the area has started to return to normal. I'm confused on how this can happen. The doctor suggested the 25 units at the 11's, but since she also suggested other areas as well (other parts of the forehead, corners of mouth), she had me sign the waiver so there's no 'fixing' this since it looks like I didn't get the suggested amount, even tho I did to the area I wanted. Unfortunately I made the mistake of giving my card information to this company in which I trusted when they promised no fees would be charged. I was supposed to have my appointment this morning to get a dermal infusion, appointment which was missed due to their lack of communication.
