    Croissant breakfast sandwich

They are skimpy with the food. They are overcharging for what you get. It was a very sad sandwich. With one slice of meat and one piece of bacon. You can't even see the egg. They gave me what appeared to be half of a burnt egg.

This hole in wall place is good. You are welcomed as soon as you walk in. I had the carne asada burrito, and it was tasty. It's not closed.

Excellent chorizo burrito. Takes 6 to 10 minutes but is well worth the wait. If I am in a hurry I just call in ahead.

Los Coffeeholics never fails me…read more The first time I visited was back in April for a Yelp event at the SCV Hub. The second I tried it, I find any excuse to come back. Well, Yelp had another event at the SCV Hub and you bet your bottom dollar I was going to order from Los Coffeeholics. Today we ordered a 24oz Mango Sticky Rice Matcha ($7.75) and a 16 oz Cookie Butter Latte ($6.75). Both drinks took about 20 minutes to make, which I do feel like is a long time but very much so worth the wait. There was also only two employees there that I saw, so they may have been short staffed because they were constantly working on orders. My Cookie Butter Latte was creamy with biscoff crumbles on top. There was also the perfect amount of ice to keep it cool but not where a majority of the cup was ice. I also thought I tasted a hint of cinnamon in there. I could easily drink the whole thing in 3 gulps. My partner got the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. He's gotten this before, and has not stopped talking about it since. He was even telling me yesterday how he was super excited to go to Los Coffeeholics tomorrow to get his Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. Needless to say, half of his was gone before we even got into the car. Overall - the quality and price of Los Coffeeholics is totally worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone.

You order off a giant tablet up front, but if you have questions the girls are super helpful with answering them. I asked if a certain matcha I wanted to try was gluten free, she then proceeded to lmk which ones were safe to drink and what can be modified as well. I got the strawberry matcha with almond milk and homemade strawberry syrup, it was delicious and you can taste the quality of the syrup throughout the drink. Lots of options to choose from, both matchas and lattes. I'm already thinking about what my next order will be... **Note that this is more of a grab and go kinda spot, very minimal seating inside of the hub but lots of seating on the patio. Big parking lot in the shopping plaza.

It was the name that attracted us to it but little did we know this is where they filmed the Pepsi commercial with Cindy Crawford at a gas station!! Hometown cooking at its best. Everybody knew everybody. Our waitress, Miss Emily, was on it with the coffee refills, checking in on us to make sure the food was correct. The buffalo burger patty was juicy and tasted like a regular burger patty My omelette was filled proportionately with mushroom and cheese. Pancakes were ginormous fluffy, not dry filled with blueberries inside and out Everyone really enjoy their food and their friendly atmosphere. We live in SCV and are very familiar with all the long-time restaurants but have never made it to Halfway House Cafe. We pass by it everytime we head out to Agua Dulce and it always seems busy so we finally made a point to stop in for breakfast. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and given any our table choice. The coffee was very fresh and we were given plenty of time to review the extensive menu. There is plenty of seating inside including the typical coffee shop counter seats which seemed to have many regulars seated. The parking is a dirt lot with parking in front and behind the restaurant with a back entrance. The restrooms were clean as well. We ordered the pancake sandwich which was the day's special and the Halfway House Super Breakfast which included 2 Strips of Bacon, Two Sausage Links, Half Slice of Ham, Three eggs, One Pancake and bisquits and gravy. A crazy amount of food. Everything was good. I would describe it as typical diner food in a diner setting which is not really our go-to restaurant, however we did enjoy the service and food very much. Huge servings so no one will ever leave hungry.
